We had reserved via TheFork (50% on the à la carte dishes), arriving there the waiter did everything to make us cancel the reservation: offered a 2nd menu which was not part of the reservation and made us pay for the carafe of water, explaining to us that without TheFork reservation it would be free. In terms of dishes, the food was good but the quantities were very disappointing (36.- a few chicken fingers, a tablespoon of guacamole sprinkled with chips, luckily we had the reduction). To top it all off, our TheFork reservation was canceled by the merchant once we paid, probably to avoid the cost of the app.

The Chauss-Cocks brings sunshine to the heart of the hospital district. Good humor and smiles to accompany simple and delicious dishes, which stand out from the usual daily specials. We inevitably come out in a good mood. In short, a nice discovery to recommend without any hesitation :)

I dined in this restaurant yesterday evening waiting to see a doctor at the nearby hospital. I arrived before 18:00 when all the dishes are available but the waiter nonetheless took the time to explain in detail the dishes I could order. I waited till six then ordered a chicken burger and it was tasty but a bit greasy including the fries but overall good with a little salad ( a good burger can be greasy) . The decoration and ambiance is very hippie artistic which I like and the waiter was friendly and he turned off football on the TV and put an application on with a log fire on the screen. I recommend this restaurant.

I was first welcomed by a handsome looking man (Pedro Pascal vibe) with an accent sounding like warm sand, inside this little restaurant near the hospital. There was a little ambient music, at the perfect volume where you can notice but it doesn't go over your voice. The menu items were very focused, and you can tell they serve things they worked hard on. It was quite tasty and we ate it all, forgetting to take a proper picture of it. What I liked the most were the little melted goat cheese bites, wrapped in a delicate bric-like thin crust, which added a welcome crunch before the warm cheese, with in its heart a bit of honey and apple. It was a delight, and frankly I could eat only that for hours with a little Porto on the side. For dessert we had a slice of dark chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top. Despite the simplistic appearance this cake was, much like my ex, full of surprises. It was still warm, and the low sugar content provided a perfect basis for the vanilla icecream. It was almost like the ice-cream was the star of the show, much like my past relationship. Anyway, it's a good place for a quiet date, where you will get out of satiated, and hopefully happy. And if all else fail, the hospital and/or pubs are just around the corner.

We went to eat with my colleague yesterday lunchtime! The boss and the waitress are really super warm! I took the Palestinian plate and it was really excellent! I recommend 100%

too small, and we are told that there are no fries with it to take away ???? the logic ?? on site for the same price there are fries with it. Besides all that, the burger was not good at all random ingredients in it, out of 6 burgers the same we had differences anyway in short I advise against it

I love this restaurant for its atmosphere, its staff and its atmosphere, they are very warm and friendly. On top of that, we eat well there! The mojitos are delicious and the salads are delicious!!

It's disgusting he brings trash cans into the room where we eat while we eat I ordered a burger he got the wrong burger 3 times and then didn't even make an effort he just put another cheese on top and that's all they didn't even change the steak

I went there last week with 3 other friends the food was really good for three of us and the last one find it OK. The least enjoyable dish was the "mix grill" some of the meat was dry but most of the mix was delicious. Cocktails were good and affordable for their quality. The service is nearly perfect as I went there with my two puppies that couldn't stop barking. The waiters kept on coming to bring them water and were adorably patient with us. Definitely recommend!

Very nice restaurant. Thanks to the owner who is open to discussion and especially humor. We ate the chicken faritas which tasted excellent. A panna cotta for dessert, a little firm in my opinion but a very good coulis. Addition a little salty but with The Fork at 50% = impeccable. Thank you for the welcome and see you soon.

SCAM 1. We had to pay the full price for the tapas despite having booked at -50% and the tapas are on the menu on the fork. Nothing was specified beforehand, neither on the site nor in the restaurant. 2. The quality of the food was not satisfactory: the cheese on the nachos burnt, the burger steaks poorly seasoned (large pieces of pepper and no salt). Moreover, the meat was not there (steak too small compared to the buns). 3. We ordered a cold tea, it was a homemade cold tea that was served and we didn't like it. When we asked the waiter for an “industrial” cold tea, he told us that there was no problem with homemade tea and that he would be charged for it, which he ultimately did not do. We complained about the billings for tapas and cold tea, the waiter responded very unpleasantly and did not agree to give us the reduction due to us.

I had a takeaway burger for 12chf + fries for 4chf. I really liked the burger, the perfect balance of ingredients. And a little disappointed with the fries which are basically good but look a little sad (see photo). Friendly service, decor too. For your lunches this summer

I knew this little restaurant thanks to The Fork. We got 50% off the dishes. The dishes are good but without reduction it would have been excessively expensive! The chicken was good but the salads remain too basic for the price! The service is very good :)

The place has a quite nice ambiance. The food is okay, taste-wise alright compared to the price paid (you can find better tasting burger elsewhere). Overall is quite good, but might be better to just to enjoy the drinks there casually.

I'm disappointed when they don't ask me how the meat is cooked... which actually looks like they removed a piece of the fries, I'm not even talking about half of them, uncooked and extremely oily...

After seeing several images of the food we decided to go and take advantage of "the Fork Festival" offer to get a 50% reduction. The food did not match the images of other chicken burgers seen in the reviews, as the bun was so dry and hard that it could not be cut or eaten. The fries were homemade but had a lot of excess oil. The bowl the ketchup came in had dried out chunks of ketchup and didn't invite you to try it. The Caesar salad did not have any type of dressing and the Parmesan cheese was thin strips cut with a grater. The carafe d'eau cost 2.50 CHF. Of course the original price is excessively expensive for the food that was served.
