Everything was good. A nice moment for two but with friends it's great too.

Chez Bacchus offers a small but tasty selection of meals, especially their entrées that are delicious. Of course, the main asset of this restaurant is their wide range of wine, so you will definitely find your match. The restaurant is stylish and the staff is joyful and helpful. I would recommend eating there if you want to try some nice wine with some food, for what I wouls recommend taking their plate of charcuterie and cheese.

I absolutely loved this place. We had one night in Geneva and this is the place we chose for dinner. What a good choice. Everything was magnificent. We drank lovely wine at a very reasonable price. We had a locally made cured pork that was like a cross between lardo and prosciutto and was delicious. Then we chose "agneau de lait" from the specials board which was divine. Tarte tatin rounded things out. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was buzzing. We really enjoyed dining here but I definitely see myself going back, sitting in the front section, eating charcuterie and sampling the fantastic wine selection. Highly recommended!

A little tasting moment in this very nice place in the center of Geneva. Large selection of wines and many small quality snacks if you don't want to have a formal dinner there. Very well received by a young and dynamic team. Friendly, warm atmosphere without being snobbish. Go there without hesitation 🙏. Closed between Christmas and New Year's Day. Great place for an aperitif or more!

The food is excellent, the choice of wines extensive, especially for wines by the glass. Very good choice of local wines.

An excellent place with a lot of wine options! We visited it during a rainy night and we loved it. The staff was super friendly and the vibe was great. We tried two glasses of different types of red wine, both pretty good while we also took a small cheese plateau. The prices of the glasses vary (the one costed 9 CHF while the other 15 CHF).

Chez Bacchus has a good selection of wine and a very friendly service that is very good in recommending the right wine based on the expressed criteria. We were with a big group and they were very kind to accommodate us spontaneously. The only thing that I didn’t like is, that water was served without having been ordered. While we would surely have ordered some, we would have preferred to be asked.

Strange and unprofessional welcome from one of the staff members who made a comment regarding my « strange » family name - not enough French maybe ….some trainings and professionalism seem to be needed in particular in a city like Geneva where you may have to deal with non French/Swiss people!

Excellent cuisine try the lamb and white beans. I ate everything on my plate and went there the next day. Air-conditioning or fans required on very hot days

I visit this restaurant on a regular basis. I usually go there for the business lunch. Food is typical of a French Style Brasserie and is great. The wine list is one of the best in town and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have always liked the decor and concept of this place. However, the attitude of the gentleman when I told him that the glass of proseco was very small he decided to arrogantly respond that that was the norm and that it was even more that the 10 CL. This is a pathetic dispute that could have had a more pleasant more polite tone, maybe with humour- from the employee counting his little coins. One does not go to have a drink and want to be «  taught » a lesson rudely but to live a nice moment. Something the management has not taught its employees in this establishment.

Very good place to drink good wines whether as a couple, with friends or after work.

The "reception hall" is not the most welcoming, and this way of dividing the room is detrimental to the experience. We feel placed in a pantry antechamber, caught between the bar and the bottle display case. The waiters were not very interested in our fate, we were served according to the strict minimum of protocol (with a smile, anyway, let's say it). An inconclusive experience, to say the least. Too bad.

Amazing wine bar! Came here for some food and nice wine for the evening - what a find! If you love wine, come here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which added to the relaxing ambiance. I was taken aback by the wine selection both by the glass and by the bottle. The pate Iberico chorizo and cheese plate was excellent, with flavors that perfectly accompanied the 01 Chateau Gruaud Larose I ordered. Can’t wait to come back.

Nice Bobo setting, very inventive menu, some portions are very...minimalist. The wine was very good but CHF 11.-- for deci. ,.it’s still a lot!!! The rolls are excellent. Happy with the meal but we don't think we'll go back. .

My favourite place in Geneva. My boyfriend and I go to this place every week. Their wine selection is spectacular, their staff is a 10/10 and the food is also absolutely delicious. The inside of the restaurant is very well decorated, with high and low chairs. Their steak is my favourite in Geneva (even though they are not a steak house) and their chocolate ice cream is amazing. Like I said, truly could not recommend this place more, n01!

Nice place, good wine, what's not to like? We had the St Josef red, which was excellent. At lunch there is a plat du jour for 24 CHF. Make a reservation if you go in the evening.

It has been a long time since I have been so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant in Geneva. The welcome, the dishes, the wine selection, the service, the atmosphere... everything was perfect. Special thanks to Vincent who took time to share excellent advices for the dishes selection and his passion for wine. Really loved the truffle croque-monsieur, the deer burger, the mushrooms, the Naan and the guinea fowl ravioli. I went twice and I found the same magic during both visits. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant with very good service

Nice place. Two people: We ordered four red wines and the second of each wine, which were different from the first, used the same glass that we had used for our first wine. Without cleaning even though it was our use, they didn't even run it through water or clean it. We asked if it was the same, the waitress replied yes. Very serious error.

Excellent. We were completely taken care of by the team. Fast and efficient service, relevant and adapted advice, excellent dishes with ideal wine pairing, the advice of the boss (passionate) can be followed with your eyes closed. Depending on our tastes, they even prepared off-menu dishes for us, it's rare enough to be mentioned and in terms of customer attention it's the best of the best. The only downside is this 11 p.m. curfew... Grrr... Honestly, everything was perfect! Verdict: to try and repeat indefinitely and in any case I will make it my future haunt.

We have had a glass of VIVI- Kola and cup of coffee at the terrace. Very nice place. First of all, they have a very good service. Very friendly staff and delicious coffee. A healthy Swiss made drink called #Vivi- Kola. Surprisingly stylish place. They have open wine bar, where you can get whatever wine you want to by glass and pay by card, which you can buy from them. They have a large selection of tapas with correct price, small but sufficient menu and what is the most precious nowadays- they have a great staff. We will definitely visit this place for a dinner with a group of friends. Meanwhile I’ll attach our today’s drink...by the way..they have a real Italian coffee...not Geneva jus des chaussettes 🙈
