Sometime last year I visited Bachmann Pizza Bakery in Luzern and unfortunately had an extremely poor customer service experience. The woman behind the counter chose to completely ignore me, opting to communicate solely through eyebrow raises. Feeling ignored and frustrated, I politely asked if she would be able to assist me, to which she responded with abrupt rudeness in her words. It was disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from a staff member. The fact that this individual is still employed at Bachmann Pizza Bakery is concerning, as it reflects negatively on the establishment's overall customer service standards. Customers should not have to endure disrespectful treatment when trying to make a simple purchase. I hope that Bachmann Pizza Bakery takes this feedback seriously and considers implementing more thorough training for their employees on proper customer service etiquette. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and attentiveness, and it is disappointing to see that this basic expectation was not met during my visit. Overall, my experience at Bachmann Pizza Bakery was marred by this unfortunate interaction, and I hope that in the future, the establishment will prioritize providing a welcoming and respectful environment for all patrons.

Bachmann's breads and baked goods are generally of very good quality. The nut stollen, however, is below the standard of this bakery: little filling and dry, a disappointment.

A visit to the Bachmann bakery is always a joyful experience. The range leaves nothing to be desired and the staff is also very accommodating. Especially with Ms. Oroshi, competent advice is provided as well as prompt payment processing so that you can get on the train in time. Very satisfied. :)

I was there yesterday, I bought bread. I was served very badly. It was outside. Otherwise I have always received friendly and good service. I also had to repeat what I want several times It's a shame, the products are very good.

Sunday, 5:45 a.m., fancy canapes for breakfast. A quick look on the internet, Bachmann UG opens at 6.30 a.m., perfect! 6.30 sharp after a 15 minute journey. there. Then the disillusionment: The shop doesn't open until 7.30 a.m., only the outdoor stand with a very limited range is already open. So I bought a coffee and passed the time for an hour. Shortly after 7.30 a.m. we entered the shop, went to the canapes and there it was beautifully written... egg with ham, chicken with curry etc. Unfortunately only 2x canapes with some kind of fish, egg and asparagus were available. When I asked the saleswoman, she simply replied: "Today is Sunday, there is no meat" - then at least take the signs away! Due to a fish intolerance, I was only able to buy an asparagus and an egg canape. A great start to Sunday! Luckily there are other bakeries in Lucerne that I will visit in the future that are also open on Sundays and save me the hassle. I'm already looking forward to canapes with roast beef, salami, ham, chicken or tartare. And by the way, they are also able to correctly communicate opening times on the Internet.

I always love Bachmann, i‘ve been a great customer since living in Lucerne. The quality and taste constantly good. Compare to other locations, i had a bad experience with this one. The service here is so bad that i would rather go to another location. It’s just too bad!

Bachmann branch at Prellbock track 4: While I was being served, a young employee came in and said loudly and clearly to her young colleagues “Hey Lütlis, have fun with de Touris” with an annoyed, spiteful look. Behind the scenes you can gossip about customers, but I consider this to be very unprofessional to speak like that in front of customers. These “tourists” also bring money into their coffers, from which they earn their wages. Completely unprofessional. Will avoid this branch in the future. What I would also like to say is that the only older saleswoman (rather short, short hair) is always very friendly to all customers this morning (07/27/23). The only one who appears professional. She treats her customers with respect, is always friendly and always takes enough time for her customers, even when things are stressful. This woman deserves a bonus!

I actually didn't want to give a star, but I can't write a comment like this. An employee today at 9:50, blonde hair and very thin eyebrows, outside in the basement. She was very rude and didn't want to do her job. Firstly, she didn't ask me if I needed a coffee holder because I bought 2 coffees. But even when I asked for the owner, she gave it to me and went to the next customer. As an employee, don't you have to put coffee brewers in the holder? Or is self-service meant? On Whit Saturday I got various coffees from Bachmann and paid 200CHF in cash. The waitress claimed she had given me change of over 180 CHF, even though she didn't. My colleague next to me was able to confirm this. We asked the branch manager, but she wasn't willing to give us the return money either. We wanted them to check the cash register or look at the security cameras, but they didn't want to do anything. I was brushed off with the statement that the cash register will be counted on Tuesday and then we will see if there is too much money in the cash register and we will then call them immediately. On Wednesday I asked because I hadn't heard anything and was confirmed that I had the money too well. I could pick it up at the branch, a transfer via Twint or bank payment was refused, and the money was only transferred to me when I called the police. Thank you Bachmann very customer friendly

There was a woman at the Lucerne train station pizza who spoke so badly to the customer, it's definitely racist. I only asked for a pizza, she said to me, why didn't you tell me how many pieces I needed, spoke so cheekily and loudly. Afterwards she told me, give 6 francs and get lost. I would like to complain about this woman, it is not at all good for the Bachmann customers and I have never experienced anything like this in Switzerland.

I have on January 5th. Bought an Epiphany cake. We wanted to treat ourselves to something special and fine and went to Bachmann. I was surprised in the store that the cake was sealed in plastic. That's how it tasted: sticky, sour, like the day before. We threw the rest away, that's not possible. The next day we bought another one from a bakery that tasted airy and fresh, that's how it should be! Bread is not sold in plastic wrap either...

Already at 5:45 a.m. you get the croissants and coffee to wake you up :) Pasta, salads, sandwiches, pralines, desserts, from the smallest pastries to the cakes that can be ordered, everything is always fresh and delicious.. Many thanks the whole staff. Especially to - Ms. Acosta Lara Mariemma - the sunshine from Bachmann :)

Tuesday morning, 8:45 a.m. Shopping for October 4th Cash payment with a 10 franc note - return fee 5.90. The saleswoman counts the money for a long time (I'm surprised) and gives me a 5-franc piece and the 90 centimes in 18 (!!!) 5-franc pieces. She wouldn't have any other change. When I asked if she could take the money from another cash register, she said she wasn't allowed to. I still have some understanding. But there would have been other solutions, right? e.g. ask if I might have a 10 centime piece... or ask whether I might want to pay by card... or offer the option that I would like to pay at another cash register.... It's a shame, because the products at Bachmann are actually very good!

If I'm standing in line at a sales counter in the outside world and I'm told rudely that they're standing in line on the other side.....Then I just forego...Grüezi and please would be the least. Super fine products BUT.....

- unprofessional service! - unhygienic and paid toilet! Products are good, but the service was very unfriendly - we were traveling with a toddler and baby and of course the stroller takes up space and we were very careful not to get in anyone's way (even though the space itself is tight), but Then to look so evil/derogatory is anything but human and professional! And money is charged for the toilet and on top of that the toilet was unhygienic, toilet paper and hand soap were missing and there is absolutely no space! The toilet is more like a cubicle... The toilet says a lot about the food establishment (restaurant/bistro/café/bakeries), so please pay more attention to hygiene, cleanliness, order and friendliness for all guests who come by.

Very nice service in the Confiserie Bachmann at the train station. I was able to leave my purchases in the store because I was going on a trip to Mount Pilatus, that's what I call customer service. The specialties I bought, such as Zigerkrapfen, Lucerne gingerbread and bire bread, were simply wonderful and a reminder of my childhood. Gladly again, thank you very much. Great selection of fresh breads and sandwiches.

You can find this chocolate shop all over Lucerne, they are always full, so I stopped by to try something. Their hot chocolate is good, I've had better. We liked the walnut bread, since we buy Tyrolean bread in Migros, we wanted to compare it because it looked great. Unfortunately, it tasted like a cheap walnut strudel from Billy or Kaufland. It is a pity. I also bought some character chocolate, it was a surprise, I was expecting pistachio cream, but it's milk chocolate with pieces of pistachio, it was great.

The size of the portion in this ice cream place of Bachmann has disappointed a lot. We already tried Bachmann ice cream in different places and cities of Switzerland - it was really much bigger! The price is not little, but the good portion of this tasty ice cream was always a lot of joy. And here it is no Bachmann size, it's sad they do such a dishonest service at the train station of Luzern, just economizing.

Got a scoop of ice cream here and the serving was quite small. I had a single ice cream cone at the Bahnhof outlet and it was almost 1.5x the size of what I got here!

I made the pilgrimage to Lucerne 3 - 4 times every week to buy 4 each time because I've loved them since I was a child. They used to always be served as a dessert on Sundays. Because I couldn't buy them anywhere and they were only available from you. I've been in Zurich since 1999 (previously grew up in Lucerne City) and came to Lucerne 3-4 times JUST because of that.

I love Bachmann for their amazing ice cream and macarons. However two days ago, when I was waiting to order ice cream, the sellers were just ignoring me! Instead, they serve other people who came later than I did. I find this as racial discrimination because I am Asian and the people who came later were all white. Not to mention, the ice cream I was served with has two hair in it! This is a disappointment!

I am an avid fan of Bachmann because of their Ice creams and cup cakes. But my experience in Bachmann Lucerne ( the branch facing the big street and the lake) was the most horrible. The fat, white woman with a curly hair was unfriendly, impolite towards the customer. Maybe she was having a tiring day since its quite full but she must learn how to smile and not to be harsh. I will never buy again in this shop in Lucerne. I´d rather buy in Bachmann Sursee or in some other ice cream shops in Lucerne. Sometimes, you are biting the price even if it is not right when you feel comfortable and the dealer / attendant is friendly, sometimes you even give tips. But, if the attendant is not service oriented towards customer, the guests will be traumatized and will never come back. And it is a big loss for the company because employees still receives the same amount of money every month even if they don´t have customers.
