Bäckerei-Konditorei Nussbaumer AG in Zug

Croissants and rolls are ok, but nothing more. It might seem a little crispier and “fresher”. I find the Berliner and Nussgipfel to be average. Good quality but, in my opinion, lacks heartiness in terms of taste. In my opinion, prices are rather high and the sandwiches etc. are not clearly labeled with prices in my opinion.

It was very nice to have breakfast again in the Bexkerei Nussbaumer. Branch manager very friendly, nice, we enjoyed it.

The Nussbaumer bakery in Zug: pastries, bread, croissants, etc. everything smells like soup or something cooked. Horrible! and unappetizing! Had such an experience again and again. Staff unmotivated.

There are many sandwiches in different sizes with a sign saying “various sandwiches”. So no prices are shown for the individual sandwiches, which is understandable because then no one would choose them. CHF 8.60 for a small cheese sandwich; Impudence!

The best bowl I tried in Zug :) Good cafe for a quick breakfast. Most meals are usually sold out by lunch. I usually buy takeout. The service is fast and good.

Avoid this shop on Bahnhofstrasse near KB Zug. Here the guest has to wear a mask but the staff wears it under their nose or not at all. When you politely ask, you get the answer: believe in it and we have to wear it for 12 hours. When I asked, no one was available at the headquarters and the person on the phone fled again. You have to boycott those - true yesterday October 4th, 2021 there again to see if there were improvements: mistake no certificate check only at their own request people marched straight through to the tables everything is actually missing here. Absolutely unfriendly staff and not insightful. Covid regulations are being grossly violated here or not being followed at all. I'll now report to the police on October 5th, 2021, the same as yesterday, a person's mask under their chin and checked at random. About 8 people in the store at the same time. October 6th, 2021 the same thing again when asked, unfriendly and nice. We work for 6 days and then we have to check everyone etc. Very unfriendly staff. 12.12.21 I was only checked because I showed the certificate. 8 people without checks were simply let through

The selection is great and always fresh. The team in Steinhausen is very friendly and helpful. Go there often. But unfortunately I can't say the same for the Zug branch. Team Bahnhofstrasse is very unfriendly and uninterested.

They advertise vacant apprenticeships because this bakery consists mainly of apprentices and survives thanks to the apprentices. In almost every branch there are more apprentices than fully trained specialists. The learners are shamelessly exploited and not supported at all. If you want to complete an apprenticeship there, you can prepare yourself for cleaning work and say goodbye to your private life and your health. I experienced this for three years and NEVER again, despite the few great employees I met there.

I like to drink coffee and eat something sweet there. It is quiet there and is not so crowded with guests. ☕☺️
