Bäckerei Macchi in Luzern

On the first day I came to Lucerne, the bread outside the window looked so delicious that I went there early the next morning. The freshly baked bread and salad were delicious. The price was relatively cheap too.

Everything in their windows looked beautiful. Whatever we ate was very fresh and delicious. The coffee was self-service. What I didn't like was the salesperson who never smiled.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick breakfast and the food was amazing! I got the raspberry filled doughnut and my husband got the apple strudel. The price was great too.

A bakery like I hope for. Good bread, an outstanding selection of sandwiches, salads and take-away menus, rounded off with a small but great patisserie selection. I often have to be careful not to buy more than I can eat, but it makes me really happy to look through the delicious offerings. Lots of fun 🪬👀

It's the best bakery since I was a little kid until now the quality is great! But the staff is really not good - there can be 9 people in the store until a second or third person comes to help. You can see the staff mostly talking, which I find even worse. The staff there still needs to work on it or the management needs to be trained better.

The Macchi bakery is one of the best bakeries in Lucerne. It has excellent breads, very tasty and beautifully presented confectionery and is also rather cheaper compared to others. The take-away offer impresses with its beautiful presentation and high quality.

Nice bakery in the town! Near Lucerne train station, you can grab 1 when you on the way to train station and have it during your journey.

One of the best baked goods in Lucerne

The food is very fine. I go there often to get food. I just find it very indecent that (all) employees except Ms. Blättler are very unfriendly. You are not greeted and you can tell that you don't feel like it. They don't ask if you want the sandwich etc. warm. I have to beg for it myself and then the woman who serves me looks at me stupidly... You don't label the food that is warmed up and you don't know who it belongs to and what's in it.

Macchi is one of the best in Lucerne. I love the rolls and sandwiches. Really tasty and different. In addition, the staff are really nice 👍🏻 keep it up 👏🏻

Good salads, soups, warm-up dishes

Small bakery on the main street not far from HB Luzern. The Macchi Bakery has other locations and, along with Bachmann, is probably one of the larger bakery chains in Lucerne. Fine products, the crescent salad sauce was a bit bitter. Good prices, I paid CHF 8.20 for salad and chocolate rolls.

Excellence in freshness and friendliness

Actually great, but the "Gipfeli" as we say in Switzerland were a bit too dry for me. But to be fair, we have to say: everyone has different tastes. Everything else I've tried so far has been great and very tasty! That's why deducting a star is almost not fair, as everyone has different tastes. But for me now there is a 1 star deduction for the dryness of the croissants. I can only recommend the bakery. By. Falling Angel

The young lady at the checkout was very unfriendly. After I had already chosen my stuff and she wanted to tell me the price, I asked her for something else. Then she got upset, screwed up her face and didn't care to say thank you, please, have a nice day or goodbye. Very unfriendly for a Beck saleswoman!
