We like going to Bansri Thai. The curry is always delicious, but unfortunately we're not really impressed with the meat. I can highly recommend the Masamam Curry and the Phad Thai anyway! The service is great and the restaurant is typically Asian! However, we find it expensive, so the price-performance ratio is okay.

This is why I gave a 3 star… I missed the No credit cards statement on the menu and then when I went to pay he told me only cash 💰 I had to go to the bank to withdraw some cash and came back paid and left. I was here for dinner on 6th November with my husband. We ordered the spring roll, Tom Yam goong, and stir fry beef with vege. It is pricey compared to regular Singapore restaurants, but is comparable to most reaturants around St Gallen. Food is authentically thai, fresh ingredients and manageable portions for asian meals. We had a wait a bit for the food as every dish was freshly prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed the food.

The female staff/ owner tried to rip us off- we ordered water - I specifically told her tap water is fine.. she said yes have. She did not even refer to the menu to tell me that she would be charging me chf4.50 PER CUP! When the bill came, of course we were shocked ! She charged us 5x4.5chf for the water ! As it was spicy, and my daughter asked to top up her water - again, the owner did not tell me it would be chf4.50! We said what kind of water did you serve us - she ran into the kitchen to show us Evian bottle - the irony is that all restaurants would serve you the entire Evian bottle and leave it at the table so you know you are definitely getting the Evian bottle … what a rip off ! What a joke ! Food is 3/10 - I would give it 3 only because my kids ate ! But it’s not child friendly at all- no kids utensils ! Other than that, the setting is bad - the whole family of the owner are playing cards and drinking right at the entrance when you walk in!!!!!! DONT VISIT THIS PLACE !
