Dreilinden in St. Gallen

All you can really say is: This is the best cream you can get. Service from A-Z First class! Food is a dream! Everything in a very nice atmosphere! Come back in April!

Swiss, friendly, promising. On this not-so-sunny day, we were able to sit together in the restaurant, chat and have a drink, without any worries. It has a manageable menu.

The restaurant was once good and pleasant. Unfortunately, the last two visits were not satisfactory. Today we were a group of 4 and wanted to have a quick drink. According to the service staff (the person behind the entrance counter), there was no room for additional guests, even though several tables were free. I don't think anyone has to reserve a table for 3pm on Sunday and it has to be kept free. If so, I would reconsider this strategy for a location with a lot of “walk-in customers”. In general, the mood seemed tense and stressed. Hopefully better next time if we get a place.

We wanted to have a quick drink today, because of the nice weather there was a lot going on and the restaurant was closed without further ado and no one was allowed in. When the door opened briefly to let guests out, you wanted to ask something and were harshly turned away. Very unfortunate.

We where there on a family reunion and had a preselected menu. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was very nice (despite the bad weather) and the food was very good. The only negative point in my opinion was the size of the portion. For the price (and given we preordered for a larger group) I would have expected them to go around and offer seconds.

It would be nice if the opening times were correct. It was closed and we were frustrated.

I had a cordon bleu, unfortunately it wasn't cooked through, the pork was raw, the waitress told me she would bring me a new one, but I got the same one that still looked strange, no apology or compensation! Pretty disappointing! In addition, the price was way too expensive, it was a small cordon bleu and fried black and then raw!

Wonderful game menu - great service!!

We had a drink in the garden. Great view over St. Gallen. For the aperitif there is a special aperitif menu with Plätile etc. The staff was friendly.

We celebrated our wedding party in the Dreilinden restaurant. The food was incredibly good. The team led by Stefan provided us with excellent service and created a great atmosphere. Overall it was a top experience.

We had pre-ordered dinner for 10 people: pork schnitzel. The organizer forgot to order a vegetarian meal for one person. Shortly before the group arrived it was not possible to change this. They weren't even willing to serve a fried egg instead of the pork schnitzel. “An order is an order,” we were told. Flexibility and customer orientation look different. Otherwise everything is good.

Super cute restaurant at the top of St Gallen. A lot of activities such a swimming or mini golfing just next door.

The location and the staff were very friendly :) However, the food was way too expensive for what you got. 10pcs. Ravioli with some vegetables for 25.-, the schnitzel and the cordon bleu were made in the deep fryer instead of in the frying pan, which is why the breading was partly covered in black crumbs. We no longer come here just for food.

7 francs fifty for a large beer? Just usury!

The food tastes fantastic. The restaurant is a bit old, but it is very pleasant to dine outside. The service is also okay. The view of the city of St. Gallen is also fantastic!

We caught salmonella poisoning with chills and fever So we had to go to the doctor on Sunday 😞it's a shame The staff was very nice, the food looked good at first glance! But various pieces of meat in the “Zürcher Geschnetzelte” cream sauce were hard and inedible Oh well, we'll enjoy the beautiful view elsewhere

The food was very tasty, but had a bland taste. This extended from the starter to the main course to the dessert. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The geographical location and the view are very great.

Beautiful view. Not many tables inside, rather dark, friendly staff. We ate well, but it can't be that a cocktail without alcohol costs only 1.- less than with alcohol!!

A place high above St Gallen with a very nice view of the city. I was also able to recover very well here after a stressful morning. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. All in one PURE RELAXATION and I will be back again often

Very nice company. Very friendly service. A bit high in prices for the quality of the food. Dream view. Too bad no parking spaces for guests. Was in the restaurant a little longer and also got the bill from the police.

Lunch outside. Nice ambience. Due to an ordering error, we had to wait 25 minutes for the soup. That's why I was offered the drink. So okay from me. Homemade soup and good. Hörnliauf with vegetables (vegi) was very nice and there was enough. I was served by three people in total. I'm not sure whether this concept will work with Full House. Overall rating of the kitchen was good to very good. Rest with room for improvement. Best regards

The company fondue party was an absolute disappointment. It was far too narrow in the hut, we had to put the meat plate for the table grill under the table between the feet. The staff was totally overwhelmed, wine was not refilled. When we wanted to order dessert after dinner, we were told that the staff responsible for that had already left. All in all, loveless. It appeared that the management would have preferred if our group of around 60 people had not come at all. We used to often go to the Dreilinden restaurant because we live within walking distance of it, but those days are now over.

The service is very accommodating and polite, the restaurant has a great view and the menu is small but offers something for almost every taste. The venison slices were very tasty and the red cabbage was particularly impressive. Unfortunately the portion was very manageable. So you almost definitely need a starter and dessert to fill you up. The red wine that the waitress recommended to me with the main course was also just right.

The Restaurant Dreilinden serves regional specialties and is located in a fantastic location with a view over St Gallen and Lake Constance. We ordered the pumpkin soup as a starter and shared it. The soup was creamy, tasty and large, served with white bread. As a main course we both had the rösti (spelled in dialect on the menu: röschti). The rösti was served with a fried egg on top and served with a full half plate of delicious vegetables. We also had rumpunsch to warm our hands on upon arrival. The place is stylish yet traditional, clean and with a friendly staff. In good weather this place I am sure will be hopping.

What a perfect place to have a splendid view over the city of St. Gallen. The restaurant has good choice of daily menus. Loved the fish I had and the service was super. Thanks a lot to the team.

The meal was excellent. The prices are moderate, the location with a view of the city is very nice. The staff was also friendly. However, our companion was disappointed that, as an elderly man with mobility problems, he was expected to fetch the free tap water himself.

We wanted to have lunch at a restaurant today. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time until the service employee came. However, after hardly a greeting, we had to say that we didn't like it and that we would rather eat somewhere else where we would be valued as guests. It's really a shame, there would be a great viewing spot...

The food still has some room for improvement! It is also expensive.

Sensational food and friendly. The staff, together with the great view, are simply sensational. I celebrated my wedding there and would do it again.

Too expensive for what you get.

The view, ambience and service are top. The food, on the other hand, not at all (anymore). Salad dressing tasted like it was bought and the vegan nuggets also looked bought and thawed. The sauces (BBQ and tartare) came in small plastic containers (unnecessary waste) and these weren't tasty either (tartare was actually just mayonnaise) and didn't seem homemade. The Gordonbleu was also rather bland. Fries and vegetables very tasty. Since the change of ownership, the kitchen is no longer recommended.

Food: The menu is typically Swiss. It’s schnitzel, burgers, cordon bleu, wurst kase salat and pommes. It’s decent it’s probably not why you go here. Drink: The drinks card was nice. The wine selection was quite good and the prices weren’t horrible. Ambiance: This is why you’re coming here. I mean this view over St.Gallen to the Lake of Constance is nothing short of spectacular. Service: The service people were awesome. They got us seated got us drinks and we’re friendly funny and attentive.

Very nice view...first take a leisurely walk and then have a nice meal.

Very pretty restaurant. Because of the weather I sat inside, unfortunately only with a view of a full back yard and right next to the counter. The food was of high quality, but either seasoned rather poorly or put together a bit strangely (chicken in a coconut coating + herb butter doesn't really fit...). The staff was super accommodating and friendly.

In the sunshine & a walk in nature with the bonus “view of St. Gallen”. The most beautiful place to linger... Cold platter with sweet cider or home-style cooking, everything included... There is also a natural swimming pool in the back garden... Simply wonderful...

The Dreilinden restaurant on the panoramic path (with circular paths) above the city of St.Gallen is in a dignified location and has a host offer for every guest. Food, drink, dessert and banquet - business events (hall). There is also a parking lot nearby is quickly in the countryside.Friendly service that also asks questions and satisfaction for the guest is important.Absolute price-performance ratio.I am very satisfied and can recommend it to everyone.
