Bistro Novum in Horw

On the occasion of the Horw Fire Department's Agatha Celebration 2024, the Bistro Novum in the Horwerhalle (220 people) treated us to a 3-course menu (meat/vegetarian). The OK would like to thank Pedro and his team for the excellent dinner. We have received consistently very positive feedback from our guests! Thanks to Pedro and his team, we can look back on a top event with very satisfied guests. As a caterer, I can only recommend Bistro Novum!

Very tasty food at the Horw fire department's Agatha celebration. Food was hot, plates were hot with 200 meals, every plate was meticulously prepared. Recommended at any time. Dealing with staff as well as external helpers and the organizer is very professional and always on an equal footing.

We went there with friends for an aperitif. Super friendly service. Also a glass of water and something to nibble on, which isn't available everywhere. Keep it up!

There were no lactose-free options to drink at breakfast, nor anything other than butter croissants to eat. I would have liked some hot milk and got the bill for an Ovaltine. Maybe just not the right place for breakfast...

Meet many of Horw's alcoholics who need their beer in the morning and drunkenly attack guests. The very last stop in Horw, which heats up Protega food at completely exorbitant prices and the so-called "chef" sells everything as freshly made. Only pensioners without taste buds and alcoholics eat there. There are significantly better, more honest and cheaper options in Horw. And these are restaurants and not takeaways.

14.90 for a sandwich (not a sandwich) and coffee is a rip off! And you can only pay with card from 15.-! Luckily, there are many other ways to enjoy a snack nearby!

Good coffee in the middle of Horw.

My companion is a HowerIn. So she knows almost everyone in this small town. I met so many great people during our aperitif. Totally quick and friendly service. Her terrace was always full and all alone. If you want to know something, ask one of them. They know every gossip. Hehe

Today, despite the rain, wind and cool temperatures, the garden economy was served. Thank you👍😄

Nice bistro. In Corona times you can drink your coffee outside just by dressing warmly. Very friendly staff.

Very good cheap menus with soup and salad. Portions are also great. Super friendly staff. You can tell that people enjoy working there. Perfect for workers who want a military meal.

Coffee not the best (Inflagranti caffe) Neither do Frappe. Frothed milk with strawberry flavor enhancer from a plastic bottle... without ice cream. A pity....

Very friendly and attentive service. Big or small hunger is also catered for; everyone should find something suitable. Various inexpensive menus are offered at lunchtime. Highly recommended for a coffee and croissants, a fine lunch or even an aperitif in the afternoon.

The food was very good, inexpensive, and the wine prices were also optimal. With these Portuguese you can feel that they enjoy working with pleasure. We'd love to come back.
