Wonderful restaurant and delicious food. Is kid friendly and the restaurant is very cozy and beautiful. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Very well maintained restaurant. Everything is perfected to the smallest detail. You can understand their concept. Luxuriously crafted menus and perfectly prepared food with a very friendly attitude. Portions are large (unusual for Switzerland) and I had to ask for a box😄. The prices are absolutely normal…actually way below what I usually paid. For the portion you can see on my picture the price is 25 CHF. I don't know what to add more….except it's perfect. Well done!👌

This place is good for a normal budget. With a little humor and turning a blind eye, you can accept the service. This restaurant won't be our first choice, but it won't be rated as bad either. Children were not specifically catered for other than the menu. (With us. No children's cutlery, no additional plates...)

The Restaurant Eule in Horw is a beautiful pearl in the heart of Ennethorw, where you can eat like a prince. It is somewhat inconspicuously located under a residential building, but that is precisely what creates the certain charm that you can only really find here. A bit post-Soviet on the outside, but truly Swiss and bourgeois on the inside. The house dish is undoubtedly the Cordon Bleu, which is of real class. It was outstanding. Fine menu (pork steak with pasta and mixed vegetables, served with a mustard sauce...charmingly, what more could you want?

Had the biggest cordon bleu I've ever eaten yesterday. Perfectly prepared, tasty and of high quality. The fries were also crispy and the vegetable side dishes were fresh and not canned. And even without all of the above, the restaurant would be worth a visit just because of junior manager Tamara ^^ LG Martin

TOP service, food and location By chance - we were staying in a hotel nearby without culinary delights - we visited the Eule restaurant. The location is "old-fashioned" ... but that's why it's also very cozy. The landlady and her service staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food I ordered was served very quickly, salads and vegetables were fresh, and, among other things, I was able to enjoy an excellent saddle of lamb fillet. Everything was TOP! ...and gladly again.

This is a restaurant I visit as often as possible because they coock with love my fave food. My fave dish is Schni-Po and my partner loves their Cordon Bleus. Excellent food, all is good! Swiss food at its best! friendly service from Heidi & Tamara.

Zufällig -wir nächtigten in Hotel in der Nähe ohne Kulinarik - haben wir das Restaurant Eule besucht.Die Lokalität ist "altbacken" ...aber deswegen auch urgemütlich. Wirtin mit ihrem Service-Personal äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die bestellten Essen wurden sehr rasch serviert, Salate wie Gemüse frisch, und u.a. konnte ich ein exzellentes Lammrücken-Filet geniessen. Rundum alles TOP! ...und gerne wieder.

Very friendly service and the food was very good.

I found the offer extremely appealing. There you get both: friendly and brisk waiters. The inn is easy to reach! The good transport connections make it easy to take a trip there. What I can really recommend are the desserts. My sister and I have been there for the third time and have tried something new on each visit.

Jährlich treffen sich alle Cousinen und Cousins unserer Familie mit ihren Kindern und Grosskindern in der Restaurant Eule zum Essen und Kegeln. Das Team um Frau Felder ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Alle Gäste konnten nach Lust und Laune uneingeschränkt aus der ganzen Speisekarte wählen. Alle Menues waren super fein und überraschten mit vielen kleinen Details. Die Gäste waren alle äusserst zufrieden. Für die kleinen Kinder stellte Frau Felder sogar Ausmalbilder und Farbstifte bereit.

Tolles hausgemachtes Essen mit großartiger lokaler Atmosphäre. So gut, dass wir zweimal hierher gekommen sind. Tamara war nett, nachdenklich und äußerst hilfsbereit. Nichts Prätentiöses fühlt sich einfach gut an.

Arrivé vers 20h30, le resto était assez calme : peu de clients dans la salle à manger, il y avait un petit groupe dans une salle a côté. La décoration est toujours très simple. Même le soir, il y a des menus, c'est assez rare. J'ai pris un des menus du jour : soupe, salade, crevettes, du riz chinois avec sauce tomate pour 19 francs. J'ai bien apprécié la soupe et la salade. Ce n'était pas précisé que c'étaient des beignets de crevettes. Il y avait plus de farine que de crevettes.Resto de quartier pour manger peu cher, avec une qualité moyenne. Le service était rapide, la serveuse très sympa.

The Eule restaurant is of important importance for the Horwer Spitzquartier as the only direct catering establishment. Le resto se situe dans une zone résidentielle de Horw. Arrivé vers 20h, le resto était peu occupé. La déco est vraiment spartiate: tables, chaise en bois et c'est tout. Même le soir, il y a encore les menus: j'ai pris un menu de chasse. Le repas est bon, le service sympa. L'addition est de 35 francs. Ce qui est dérangeant ici est que après le repas, les habits puent la friture. Pas sur que je revienne ici.

Nous voulions Diner samedi soir dans un restaurant avec de la cuisine suisse typique.Nous n'avons pas été déçus.Copieux cordon bleu avec des petite pommes dauphines faites maison.Foie de veau émincé rosé très bonLe rösti aurait eu besoin d'être un peu plus fin et peut être que la qualité des pommes de terre était trop farineuse.Gâteau aux noix à recommander.Bon service , par contre ce n est pas un endroit plein de charme. La décoration devrait être revue mais je pense qu'ils ont une clientèle locale qui n'a pas besoin de folklore !

Mit Freunden sind wir immer wieder unterwegs um ein Dinner miteinander zu geniessen. Die Eule hat in allen Punkten sehr gut abgeschnitten. Die Bedienung sehr angenehm und professionell, der Speiseraum gemütlich. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich genug um etwas passendes zu finden. Zu empfehlen die 3 Schnitzel des Hauses. Genug Hunger mitbringen. Die Preise für Speisen und die Getränke moderat. Sogar das "Hahnenwasser" wurde ohne Verrechnung serviert. Leider ist es heute eine Unsitte trotzt Weinkonsumation das Hahnenwasser zu verrechnen, aber nicht in der Eule. Solche Restaurants berücksichtigen wir bei unseren recht vielen Restaurantbesuchen nicht mehr! Bravo an die Eule, wir kommen wieder!!!

Kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Verhungert ist wohl noch gar keiner in der Eule! Grosse Portionen zu angenehmen Preisen, da lohnt es sich, schon bei der Bestellung zu überlegen, ob man sich am Schluss was einpacken lassen will oder gleich eine Prtion teilt. Wunderschön auf zwei Tellern wurde uns eine Portion verrechnet, alles begleitet von netten Gastgeberinnen. Ein Quartier-Restaurant, das wir schon mehrfach besucht haben und immer wieder gerne hingehen!

Habe in der Eule das Abendessen eingenommen und es war perfekt von A-Z. Das Personal einfach nur toll so etwas von Freundlichkeit git es leider in der Schweiz Zuwenig.

Ich lege wert darauf eine unfaire Beurteilung eines Reisenden richtigzustellen. Anlässlich eines Besuchs bei der technischen Hochschule, bestätigten diese die gute Qualität und Beliebtheit dieses Restaurants. Wir waren beruflich unterwegs und hatten sehr wenig Zeit. In Absprache mit der Chefin, konnten wir (10P), in kürzester Zeit, verschiedene sehr leckere Tellergerichte kosten. Ob Fisch, Fleisch, Vegi - es hatte allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich empfehle das Lokal gerne weiter.
