Brezelkönig Metalli, Zug in Zug

The Metalli location is almost never occupied. Almost every lunchtime and evening there is a sign with the same opposite outside.

Said is the best, I always walk to Metalli instead of the train station, deserves a pay rise

I ordered a baguette and the clerk asked me if I wanted a hard baguette even though they had fresh soft baguettes available. When I asked why, I was told that they had forgotten to warm it up. I am shocked at this negligence in customer service. A fresh, warm baguette should be a given when shopping in a store. It's unfortunate that the seller didn't even think to warm up my baguette after asking me if I was okay with a hard baguette. Such negligence is unacceptable and resulted in them losing me as a customer.

Normally I'm always happy with Brezelkönig's sandwiches. Unfortunately, I was just ignored by the waitress. The lady sat behind the counter with music in her ears and was unresponsive. Actually no problem, we are all just human. But since I was pressed for time and had to leave hungry and without a sandwich, I was a little annoyed. But it still won't be my last visit.

Great location for a quick bite, very nice folks working there. Good food, as expected from Bretzelkönig.

Good offer for a little snack in between

Bought a tomato mozzarella sandwich for the second time today. Had to throw away three quarters of it again! Everything slimy in it and tartar sauce?? I'm really annoyed right now!

Local kiosk, belongs to the famous chain “K kiosk”. Sales magazines, beverages, drinks etc.

Super variety in both sweet and savoury pretzels - and great coffee, too! The staff in the Zug Bahnhof are excellent.

Hot Dog in Brezel is delicious! Great bite for the price!

Service is friendly but quality not consistent. Sometimes bretzels are fresh and warm and sometimes dry and old. You never know what you get and old bretzels are sold with same price as the fresh ones. Also had a sandwich here a few times and every time got a stomach ache.

Delicious pretzels. With various side dishes or classic. Good price/performance ratio. Again any time.
