Definitely more like “just” a bistro! We just love being here! No matter whether we feel like good food in a relaxed atmosphere or whether we just want to enjoy the feeling of a cool bar with good music and fantastic drinks later at night. The waitresses are always friendly, relaxed and quick. It's definitely worth stopping by and seeing for yourself.

We ordered a black burger with fries. The meat in the burger was terrible, with gristle and veins. The sauce for the potatoes was very strange - it seems like they just mixed ketchup and mayonnaise... and it smelled like fish. It was very salty. The staff is friendly, but the boss is absolutely not customer oriented. I asked him to put hot water in my thermos because my throat hurt a lot and I needed to drink warm water on the way. I had already ordered hot tea from them (for 9 francs! That's expensive), but he said I should pay for the hot water as tea. I said that I didn't need a tea bag, just water and that for my throat, but he still refused my request. Drinking water flows from every tap in Switzerland... I went to the toilet and barely filled up the hot water from the tap…

Cozy surroundings and attentive staff make this eatery a good choice. Staff was friendly and welcoming, it was the perfect stop for a quick afternoon bite on a rainy day. I would definitely recommend.

Very quaint spot to stop and get a drink with family and friends. Off the Taurus path by a few blocks, but well worth the visit. The prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. They do speak English if that is your primary language. They also have the crests of each Canton shown in hand painted stained glass windows.

The cheese spaetzli are very tasty. The portion was quite small. Service mostly friendly. Some people are not interested in working or criticizing drinks. (E.g. wine had tap) the customer is ignored. Prices are quite steep Special beers are often offered but are unfortunately explained incorrectly or served incorrectly. Location of the restaurant is great. Ambience great

Satisfying dish and friendly service. We chose spaetzle pasta with bacon onion and melted cheese, in regular and vegetarian versions! Both delicious and decent portions! The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, the music pleasant and the location very good, at a crossroads with a view.

Great little bistro next to a fountain at a fork in the road. It had a bit of atmosphere, and the service was fast and friendly. The menu was accessed by a QR code on the table, allowing you to see pictures and costs of everything. Interesting food menu & drinks list did not disappoint! We had a delicious beetroot risotto and asparagus cordon bleu. Only downside was the number of people smoking at tables, but this seems relatively common in Switzerland.

We went to Krienbrüggli for the first time for a small lunch. Since the weather was a bit cool for May, there was a little less going on in the square in front of the bistro and we found space without any problems. The online menu is varied and the service is quick. The asparagus cordon bleu and the mustard salad dressing were great, the asparagus soup and empanadas were less special but still very well made.

When you hear the beautiful music that continues, it is a manque de respect total pour les voisins qui essaient de dormir au-dessus. Baissez au moins les bases qui traversent les murs. Very nice service with hearty coffee

The kitchen was already closed when we asked for something to eat at 10 p.m. after the first round of drinks - completely ok at that time. The employee agreed to the possibility of pizza delivery. When the pizza arrived the host had a different opinion… Rarely have I seen such a frustrated person - the first and last time I was here.

I really loved the place, the team, and the cuisine. I recommend it for a good meal or to have an aperitif with friends. No worries and trying to satisfy their customers. The music and the image of their atmosphere (no worries). Their meals are not necessarily very copious but more than enough to keep you satisfied. With good, mostly regional products with a few touches of subtlety. Such as saffron for dishes and aperitifs. For my part I am very satisfied to recommend. A big thank you to the whole team.

Wine 1/2 too expensive. Fr. 42.50. Will never visit this restaurant again. Operation works like this.

The bistro was extremely well attended. Unfortunately our food didn't come for over an hour. I observed that other guests also had to wait a long time. It turned out that there were sickness absences among the service staff and so two of them had to take care of everything. These are high demands for a bistro that offers so many indoor and outdoor seating. Hats off to how they both mastered it. In addition, the cook was alone in the kitchen. For a bistro and a single chef, the menu may be too extensive, which is why he/she may not be able to prepare the dishes in a timely manner. But it was fine, especially the piadini. Because there were mix-ups and long waiting times, the service staff was instinctively and proactively willing to offer a discount. Wow, you guys really work hard! Thanks.

Very, very poor service compared to other places in Luzern. Understaffed. You cannot order or pay at the bar so are forced to wait for the servers (we waited 30m). My friend nicely asked the manager where we could order and was told 'If you don't like it you can leave'. Rude and unprofessional from the manager, especially as the food and drinks are average at best for the price. Also, on a previous visit we were told the tap water costs 2CHF per small glass. There's litterally a free, clean fountain in the seating area so this is an awful, nonsensical, money-grabbing rule. The city tour guides I know all now suggest avoiding this place. And heading round the corner.

Very great restaurant in a beautiful building. I'm a little torn because we left for lunch/afternoon and it was great. Delicious antipasti pancakes. Very good quality and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the opposite happened in the evening. Long wait for service and rather listless. A pity

Be aware: Iced Coffee 8 CHF (plain coffee, sugar and some ice cube that‘s it). There is a public fountain near by. Perfect clean water for free - enjoy.

Nice restaurant in the center of Lucerne's old town. There is a large selection of vegetarian food, but also other snacks such as nuts. The menu can be found via QR code. Unfortunately, you have to find out first. The staff is sometimes a bit slow, but very friendly. The brownies are very tasty.

Advertised prices are low but we paid 16 fr for 2 jars of tap water and 10 for “mineral”. Bread was handed out no questions asked but billed. The food is good but portions are small. You will likely leave feeling that you paid more than you thought for less food than you thought

We had a nice lunch on the Terrasse. The food is really good but the portions are on the smaller side (and it's not cheap either). We asked for butter to go with the bread and were told they couldn't bring any. As well, we were three friends (2 girls and 1 boy), and they gave the juice to the girls and the IPA beer to the boy without asking if the order was right... can this girl have her beer please 💁🏼‍♀️.

We came to the bistro without any particular expectations to have a little something for lunch. The cheesecake is highly recommended: a gray bread dough gratinated generously with a loose cheese mixture and the strudel dough filled with spinach, dried tomatoes and feta cheese. Something different than what you usually get served. The service, like everywhere else in Lucerne, was extremely friendly and patient with questions. Also happy to help with drinks advice. And the music in the restaurant was such that we older guests found it harmonious and worth listening to The prices for Lucerne are absolutely fair. You must expect to see us again.

Small selection of Swiss craft beers. You can also sit comfortably outside and inside. There is a quaint atmosphere of seating inside, which highlights the charm of this place. Unfortunately the music was a little too loud, but I can ignore that. Nice staff, is accommodating. The waitresses come and ask if everything is ok. Besides that see them and ask if you want something.

Great for drinks. Finally a place that had music and good lighting. Every restaurant we walked in had horrible ambience this place was very cool.

I got the pumpkin soup and cheesecake. Both were absolutely delicious. I'm not usually a fan of pumpkin but this was something else. Verry good.
