The best pizzas in Lucerne. I shivered every time because the doors were open. Unfortunately, the food gets cold quickly.

My experience here was disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait for a dirty table (initially) in an inconvenient location. The service staff was catastrophically understaffed, so we had to wait forever for every interaction and were only approached to order and pay. The prosciutto pizza was sparsely topped compared to the salami pizza. Although the food was okay overall, the overall experience wasn't worth the price.

I was a guest at L'Osteria with my family last night and would like to say a lot of praise. The pizzas we ordered were simply delicious! We were really impressed by the fresh ingredients and the perfect balance of flavors. We also really liked the ambience in the restaurant. The furnishings are attractive and create a pleasant atmosphere in which we immediately felt at home. We would also like to particularly emphasize the excellent service that we were able to experience. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, which made our stay with them even more pleasant. All in all, we had a wonderful evening and we would love to come back!

Great pizza. Service was most of the time very good and very quick. The location inside is very attractive, but location geographically is little bit off. It is close to the main station but not in the center 😅 you just don't walk by... You either plan to go there or you just eat somewhere else

Excellent Italian restaurant a few steps from the lakeside of Lucerna....cuisine faithful to the Italian tradition, excellent raw materials and generous portions...I will definitely be back.

The food is better than many Italian restaurants in Italy. I ate pasta with pesto and I must say it was exceptional and the pizza bread was also excellent. I will come back for sure

main course was great, but the bruschetta as starter was not what i expected from an italian restaurant. just cut tomatoes on (a lot of the toast was burnt) toast and nothing else. no olive oil or pesto or something. just dry toast and tomatoes.. overall it was a good enough experience

Unfortunately we waited a really long time for lunch. The staff barely spoke German and wasn't very polite.

We recently had the pleasure of "celebrating" a birthday at Osteria Luzern and would like to share our experience. The food was excellent - we have rarely eaten such great pizza. Everything was really delicious and we were thrilled with the food. However, the service by the waitress left a lot to be desired. Her demeanor seemed listless and it seemed like she had 0% interest in fulfilling her service duties. As if we were ruining YOUR mood by appearing. This was also reflected in the lack of attention towards our table. Another point that struck us was the uncoordinated clearing of the plates. While some members of our group were still in the middle of eating, plates of those who had finished eating were already being cleared away. We were surprised because we don't think such a service fits the restaurant at all. The general friendliness of the staff left something to be desired and all the gestures that make for good service were missing. We felt ignored or simply served out of "force" - all without friendliness. A job as a prison guard would have been more suitable for our waitress - she radiated such an aura. What was particularly disappointing was that a new person came to our table and was ignored by the waitress. This contributed to an overall poor service experience. We wanted to stay longer or have a few more rounds of drinks after our meal, but the waitress simply "finished us off". People also started setting up before 10 p.m. - even though the opening time is until 11 p.m. - why tho? Overall, I hope that Osteria Luzern considers these comments as constructive criticism to improve the level of service and ensure that future guests can have a more pleasant and attentive experience. We really thought everything was great except the service :)

Micha is the best and funniest waiter I have ever seen. I come from Germany and I always like to come back but only when Micha is working hehe ♥️

The pizza is large and well baked. But it had very little topping on it, you could see the bottom of the dough because there was no tomato sauce or cheese. The prosciutto has very little ham on it. Spaghetti olio a allio with tomato sauce which shouldn't be there and very little to no garlic.... The lady in service was quick but also a bit brisk and not very attentive and interested in our satisfaction/opinion. Compared to previous visits, the food was on the table quickly but not as good... Better to wait a little longer.

The place is beautiful, the guy that was showing us our table was amazing. And the Bar person name ( Theodoros) was very friendly and was even helping the service bringing out the food. The Pizza was amazing and was fast. But unfortunately the waitress that was serving us was unprofessional. When she was serving my partner food beside me.. her body was about 2 cm from my face. Her underarm was literally infront of my face. But other then her. The place is amazing

Everything was just perfect. The service, the atmosphere were wonderful. The staff was really friendly. What is more, I really enjoyed the biggest pizza ever and on top of that the salad was so refreshing, deliciously blended and the prices were really afordable.

Oh well. Ordered lasagna. With beef. Get lasagna, without beef, without bechamel sauce. Gummy mozzarella. I definitely can't recommend lasagna. I definitely won't order again.

Pizza was delivered cold (we paid extra for fast delivery) and with the few toppings (almost none!!!) we could have ordered a Margheritta straight away! Unfortunately, in terms of taste, the pizza doesn't even come close to a frozen pizza, i.e. it's a low-flying pizza. Very disappointing at these prices. We will never order there again and the store is therefore not recommended!

We had reserved for 3 and were given a small table for two that didn't really look like a reservation. The table was so small that we didn't have room on the table for the three pizzas. The ambience may be nice, but it was so loud that we had to shout at each other. The service was ok, but that was all. The only plus point was the food. The pizzas are very tasty but just too big. Keyword food waste! Luckily the rest is packed in a paper bag (and not an ugly pizza box).

It was very delicious! There is also non-alcoholic Hugo and the gnocchi with chicken strips, which was really tasty too. The atmosphere is cozy. I can highly recommend it for a nice and tasty meal.

The server's daughter was a bit overwhelmed and broke the wrong pizza, will probably be a new employee. However, the food was top and more than enough, and the price was fair. However, the tables should be a little bigger if you're selling such large pizzas.

Very nice restaurant, pleasant atmosphere and good pizza. The pizzas are large and therefore it is possible to have two different types on one pizza. E.g. half Hawaii and half Margherita. Friendly operation & fast service. I'm there often and I always really like it🙌🍕

I ordered 1 pizza 1 pasta 1 tiramisu / unfortunately pizza complete disaster was ordered with garlic oil and chili oil unfortunately both were FORGOTTEN and the pizza was COLD, 1 pasta like the pizza was of very poor quality and hardly any taste very disappointing, 1 tiramisu can I don't judge because it was also FORGOTTEN I informed the driver that 1 tiramisu was missing and also called l Osteria very bad experience on the phone was passed on to 3 different employees until I was told the driver had forgotten the tiramisu no apology whatsoever for a summer over 65 chf I expected something different, never again there are much better Italian restaurants, I know l osteria from other branches so complete disappointment! I can't recommend it, I spent over 65chf and went to sleep hungry

We had dinner here after a long bus ride. The pizza was good, thin crust and light sauce. Toppings are fresh and flavorful seasonings. Bar service was quite slow and they seem to frown upon you going directly to the bar. With snow capped mountains just outside, no complaints. Seats are iron/metal, so not the most cushy, although they may have additional options elsewhere in the restaurant. They gave us gummy bears on our departure - yummy!

Even though there are more than enough employees, you have to wait 10 minutes before someone gives you a table. The wait then continues until you can order. After ordering we waited 20 minutes for the drinks. Tomato soup is a bit bland, there is no bread, and lasagna was burnt. And what a surprise, it took forever to pay...

Yep, can only confirm what the latest 3 reviews written in the past hour just said Service is really uncoordinated and they were all so hectic and still unefficient. Sorry for the waiters but they seem to be all lost. Customers complaining, long line, as we walked in waiters were passing us by ignoring us, a young man was already waiting in the line. My husband started getting nervous and approached a server, as someone came we overheard from the young man, they had been sitting outside for 40 minutes and nobody came to take their order....very bad first impression. In the end we ordered pizza and salad and it came fast. Pizza was good but very little cheese. I will come back. I like the place, like the decor, the lighting, loved the music...but come prepared to fight for your food!!!

It took forever for the food to arrive. The bill also took a long time to arrive and in the end not everyone even had food. In addition, the pizza got cold very quickly because the plate was not warmed. It seems as if the service staff work very uncoordinated.

The food is good, but when there are a lot of people you can easily be forgotten by the waiters, which is really sad. I hope they will hire more waiters if such demand is expected.

Large Italian restaurant in Luzerne, with cozy interior part and a terrace outdoor facing the street. Service was good and fast. Food was fresh and tasty. Loved the choice of zoodles (zucchini noodles) with shrimps. Pizzas were quite big so can share together.

In general it was great, but unfortunately one of the two pizzas was slightly burnt on the side or had been in the oven for too long. Otherwise the pizza was perfect.

nice ambience. Unfortunately there is no option at all to choose pizzas/pasta gluten-free. Incomprehensible in this day and age. Therefore, if you have gluten intolerance, go to other restaurants.

I think it's a shame that you have to go in after a long wait and you're not greeted and you're just told you have to pay for the goods inside and take them outside. nothing is wrong. the waiter was very unfriendly… a shame

Unfortunately, there is always rubbish, paper, pieces of paper and cigarette butts around the restaurant (outside area) (near the staff entrance). It's a shame it's not maintained!

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, but when you order the pizzas are only half as filling. We ordered Pizza Proschuto and got pizza magerita, after asking they couldn't change this and we didn't pay anything more for anything. Not recommended.
