I recently had the pleasure of visiting a coffee patisserie in Montreux, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pistachio cream dessert. It was hands down the best I've ever had in Montreux. The creamy pistachio filling was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness, and the buttery, crispy pastry shell added a delightful texture to every bite. Apart from the outstanding desserts, I was also impressed by the overall presentation of the treats. Each dessert looked like a work of art, beautifully crafted and inviting. It was evident that great care and attention to detail went into every aspect of their creations. The service at the patisserie was equally exceptional. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of my visit, creating a warm and pleasant dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee patisserie to anyone looking for delicious desserts and excellent service in Montreux. While in Montreux for 3 days, I ate here twice - one lunch and one breakfast - because it was so good and much more affordable than most other cafes around. The young gentleman who took my order both days was very kind, polite, and helpful. The food was delicious. And the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Always a great pleasure to settle down in this tearoom with multiple perfumes, scents, colors which delight our taste buds with happiness, passion and professionalism are there, everyone works in their field with the concern of well-being for the customer, auticisite their strong point is very present and for a moment we are transported to Syria both by their specialties, one better than the other, and the music brings joy and rhythm to our hearts. Lovely place and people, with delicious Syrian breakfast.- I could not say if it’s authentic because I was never there before. Fresh mint, tomato, perfectly salted egg omelette, complemented by a small plate of pickles, we ordered an Arabic cardamom coffee in the end because there is no place left for the yummy looking pistachio pastry anymore. Coffee was very authentic and aromatic. When we return in Montreux, will definitely go there again to check the other dishes and past pastry.

We had a great evening meal at Café Central. Their eggplant caviar is delicious, clearly homemade, as is their vine leaves! We also tasted their different very good fatayer. To finish with baclavas and other pistachio pastries, also excellent. We will also come back to taste their Syrian breakfast as well as their dish of the day! And the service is also very warm and pleasant. Well done!

A wonderful restaurant. The pastries and fatayer (Al-Ryouq) are very beautiful and worth a visit, a change from traditional European restaurants. They have a very large selection of oriental sweets. Many thanks to the wonderful Mohammed with his high morals. Outdoor seating is nice in cold weather, a very quiet area.

This is the best food in Montreux. Hands down. I’ve been coming to Montreux for a few years now and have been routinely let down by the food. This restaurant that my boyfriend and I accidentally walked into while looking for the tea room down the street surpassed all expectations. The staff was so friendly, made recommendations to their menu, and we were left with the best meal we’ve had since leaving Paris. I could not recommend this place more!!!

A wonderful place for excellent Syrian cuisine, service and ambiance in the heart of Montreux, and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Highly recommend the Syrian breakfast, including fatteh, foule and omelette served with pita bread. Sweets and baklava are all very fresh and everything made in house! Very welcoming and hospitable family-run business.

Perhaps the best oriental café-pastry shop in the canton in my opinion! I recommend the Sunday morning brunch!

We arrived close to closing and despite this a warm welcome was given to us, we were seated without reminding us of the already late hour, the owner of the place then passionately introduced us to the many savory and sweet specialties Syrian which allowed us to take a lovely taste journey, and to share a wonderful moment with family. The place is warm, welcoming, exceptional service and delicious food. Thanks to Mohamed for his welcome and his kindness. I highly recommend N.K.

Café Central is located near the train station. We would be surprised by the large selection of fresh patisseries. There are not only European but also a number of Arabic sweets. Definitely try it.

Friendly atmosphere and the desserts are as good as the ones in Syria. Diverse types of arabian sweets and the owner is welcoming and friendly. Also the cappuccino cups are big it’s almost double size which is good (for the cappuccino lovers) :)
