And we only eat your food in yesterday whole day, I swear. We just drive to Interlaken then visit to your restaurant. After your restaurant, we didn’t eat anything else. Just so poor experience. Before you go, read the RECENT reviews. This lady owner clearly has a problem with brown and yellow people. We stopped by to grab food and the heat was unbearable. To top it off, the owner wouldn’t let us drink our bottled water because she said they sell it. It was very rude and also the menu is 2 pages with less than desirable food choices. We left.

TLDR: Avoid this place at all cost if you just had a long sightseeing day and want to have a nice pleasant dinner. Food: We ordered grilled salmon and francesinha. Both are too salty.. Service: I would give -1 star if I can. Because her rude attitude makes us feel like she was feeding us for free and even give us some pocket money back. All Asians should stay away from this restaurant because I see her treating Asians differently from locals. Also long waiting time (30min+) for food after order. Atmosphere: The restaurant is filled with heavy grill smoke smell from kitchen because that same rude lady didn't close the kitchen door. Very unpleasant to breath and bad dining experience.

There is an impatient and rude restaurant owner/staff who has zero sense of customer service. When we ordered food, she fiercely responded we must wait long time as kitchen was very busy. The food preparation was about 40 mins long. The restaurant has extremely poor ventilation system too. When we asked for the bill, she unhappily impatiently, with nagging tone, responded that she only had two hands and busy and kept us await. The food is really salty and nothing special.

Was hoping to try some local Portuguese food in Switzerland. The only good thing about this place was the fries and the tomato cucumber salad. The beef was hard to cut and didn’t finish it. The cheese/beef dish was too heavy and thick. Another turn off was the fact that the lady (owner) assumed we were trying to share an entree when I wasn’t even done speaking when I was ordering a water, and said “no you must order two”. I went back to google reviews later after this meal, and found that many people mentioned this specific behavior in their reviews, so travelers - beware. Great choice, actually we enjoeyd so much that we booked next day also, despite the fact tha that we need to change 2 trains from Wengen just to eat there again. The sea food and the beef are delicious and the home made pasteis de nata are actually much better than the famos ones of Behleem. Not only the food but the host was also very pleasant.

After waiting around 10 mins, I simply asked how long would they estimate would be the waiting time. One of the best shrimp plates that u can’t taste elsewhere. First day got here in Luzern and found this place from the corner. My sea food spaghetti plate also tasted great. Highly recommended.

The side, fries, was superb, crunchy at the outside and soft and warm in the inside. The lady owner also provided us with bread, olives and wonderful home-made salads (vinegar + olive oil + sea salt) to kick start our dinner. Overall atmosphere was great, portion was big, taste was excellent and the price was very very affordable and reasonable. You can't find anything as welcoming as the meals. The lady owner was very welcoming and lovely too!

Even when ordering she just seemed constantly annoyed and offended by us. When we had to get the food to-go because we would miss our train otherwise, she went on a long rant about the freshness of the food and how hard it is to run the restaurant. She got really defensive, even though we never accused her of anything. We would have even gladly paid extra for the take-out. I know that dealing with so many rude customers in a tourist trap such as Interlaken every day is tough, but she clearly does not even try to hide her disdain towards her job and her customers. The attitude of the owners is really a shame, since it is a great little restaurant with fantastic food.
