Café&Apéro Bar Laub in Engelberg

Not good service. Completely incompetent staff. We had to wait 1 hour for our food. The food was inferior. Order was half forgotten. I wouldn't recommend it. Tarte flambée doesn't taste good. For an hour of waiting, cold, limp and way too much expensive. Very unfortunate.

Nice coffee corner with a great view. Their drinks look superbe, the prices are ok, around 10-12 CHF for a big drink, Beer is cheaper I think. But Piadina me personally I didn't like. It's too salty and has very few things inside. Coming from Italy I just ate a delicious Piadina for 10 CHF instead of 12 CHF, but let's not compare Italy which is a country with a advanced food culture.

We wouldn't go in there again. We had a little dog that was completely stuffed in our bag and were rudely expelled from the restaurant because of it. Further ahead there is a cozy tea room..we were able to eat something small there...even with a dog in the bag....They don't seem to need it ;-).Bad business for Engelberg Tourism, see also other negative reviews, food seems to be the case also to be bad. A restaurateur who has missed his job.

the woman who works here is incredibly rude, hostile and condescending; the worst experience i have ever had. Avoid this place.

“You need to pay to use the toilet” was the greeting I received from staff. My advice is to try another cafe in Engelberg where staff welcome you on arrival.

Great service and delicious place to visit for a quick lunch. We sat at the outdoor seating area with amazing views. The vermicelles was so fresh and they make very well priced toasted bread and paninis which we enjoyed!

12/28/22 Dogs not welcome. We were kindly informed at the door that dogs were not welcome. We accepted that and left. Another inn was happy to serve us. (two small dogs in one bag)

I went there 3 times for takeaway. For takeaway it was ok. When I sat down, owner constantly opened the window so it was really cold. It was too much when they told me that they had a policy that foreign people using an electronic device could only sit there for 15mins. Half the place was empty. Definitely not recommend.

Service was very friendly. However, the spaetzle and the accompanying cheese (mixed cheese) were relatively tasteless.

Took 2 drinks and 2 piadines. Piadine not very well stocked a little more tomato salads but for a small meal it was good. Friendly, smiling staff. Nice place

We ate a “chickenburger” and “meat” skewer there. The dish always consisted of strange pressed sausage, the potato salad was old. Prepared carelessly. The quality of the food needs to be urgently improved.

The views from this bar are unique and impressive. The bar is not only beautiful but also exclusive for its area. In front of a renowned e-school it is more than indicated to arrive by paragliding as I show you in the video.

Service was OK friendly, unfortunately pizzas and tarte flambées are ready meals and bread is only available as toast. Price in the upper segment.
