Sad place, self-service and the Mr who was present that evening, sad too..No smile and to close it all VERY EXPENSIVE

Nice place but I asked for an Americano, I was told it was possible and I was served a latte. Grab an extra croissant and it's over 8 CHF.

The cutest cafe/bar near the station. I suggest updating the (online) menu to not show items you don't have but would come back anyway :)

Nice coffee,I was travelling and arrived the train station befor dome with no hotel yet. they allowed me to use their WC, I should of thank them more. I wish to know their email. I thank them very much for their hospitality.

I don't understand why a product is not available when it is displayed everywhere, I turn to tea but they don't even ask me which one I want. Rather unpleasant staff

I stopped by this cafe after arriving at the Lausanne train station to have a coffee and not only did Veronique, the barista, prepare a lovely coffee for me she also went the extra mile of providing such excellent service! Thank you so much Veronique 🩷

Rare coffee where you can ask for a lactose-free hot chocolate, it's nice But I don't rate it more because Italian pastries are just not to my taste but otherwise the coffee in general is okay

Deplorable, not polite waitress, who doesn't say hello. Asking for a glass of water with my coffee, she looks nastily without saying anything. The coffee is deplorable for this price but especially the waitresses and especially the blonde are aggressive and not polite

I just stopped by for a coffee and croissant to take away. Three employees took care of my order. All three extremely stressed, not pleasant, not a glance. I even had to announce myself how much I had to pay and understand who I had to pay to because everyone has a well-defined task...!? In general, when you are so poorly received, it means that management is not fair with its employees and that working conditions are catastrophic.

Posting comments on the places I frequent is not my habit, I stopped by to drink a coffee while waiting for my train, I asked for an espresso, which I paid 4.40, I found it very exaggerated, I received my espresso which I tasted and surprise tasteless coffee, I ask to change it, the waitress does it, a little better…. I think that for the name of this establishment Caffe Spettacolo, we are far from a spectacular café… unfortunately we have to give it one star which is a shame.

Caffe Spettacolos are scattered around everywhere in Switzerland. This may be not the best venue in terms of design, but the staff is particularly friendly. And my Espresso Macchiato always tastes good.

Probably the only possibility in Lausanne to be served a cappuccino and a croissant with cream at 5:15 a.m. in a clean and comfortable place. The company of early morning travelers is pleasant, and the Italian pop played over the speakers brings a touch of sunshine. The service is not particularly friendly, and the products are not transcendent or cheap, but quite honestly it does the job.

The coffee is good. Fortunately! Not very pleasant to be yelled at by the staff because they didn't hear my order.. not very smiling and cold.

Poor service and unfriendly staff We had the most horrible espresso, it was weak profile like lungo cafe and it was cold Such a shame…as we tried it a few years ago and it was good then Thé sandwiches selections were processed ham and processed chicken slices, all with nitrites. How on earth such a coffee coffee offering these out of date sandwiches. People are looking for healthy , good quality and un- processed sandwiches

Unfortunately it wasn't served! On the tables it clearly says to order at the bar so I stand at the bar but everyone who wanted takeaway coffee was served very unfriendly.

The Café is located directly in Lausanne train station. Very warm welcome, very pleasant, nice decor, and price a little expensive but correct.

In a train station, you need to be in control of your time so as to avoid any unnecessary stress. This is what you will achieve thanks to the staff of this café, as they are efficient and attentive. So even if you have less than ten minutes before your train leaves, you can easily have your morning coffee there. There is a nice decoration with pictures of Italian past movie stars. There are also free newspapers available, although this facility is a bit cumbersome currently because of the pandemic.

The staff is really great! They are all very friendly, and above all ultra efficient, even at rush hour! Their products are quality. Vegan-friendly place (plant-based milks, vegan croissants), which is very appreciable. It's really a pleasure to consume from them.

Noisy place right at the central station. Don’t order big coffee with milk or you are going to get half a liter of some liquid that resembles milk with a traces of coffee. Not really a great service if you don’t speak french.

Small, completely renovated café at Lausanne station. Young, co-working atmosphere with modern tables. Few seats but it's cozy inside and there is even a small terrace. Wide choice of hot and cold drinks. Very pleasant! I recommend because ideal while waiting for a train!

At Spectacolo it is the "ultima" place to stop at Lausanne station. The walls are decorated with photos of film actors from the Belle Epoque 😃 we enjoyed sandwiches with flavors and taste. In the morning the different wholemeal croissants, with chocolate, with butter are delicious..
