Dear Fork & Bottle, A place I have always liked I know the owner and manager well Nick. Popped in as I was close for a kids birthday. Always great service, a familiar place where you feel welcome and have great staff. Great to see you Nick thanks for always making it a cool experience. Super well done Matt

The food is delicious and there is a large selection of different beers. Portion sizes are large, we shared a starter between three people and after couldn't finish our main dish. So if you are not that hungry, I would suggest sticking with one dish.

Nice place whenever it’s sunny but let’s face it…the food needs to be looked at… with a good chef and some fancy industry standard ingredients they would be amazing.

Probably the best burger I had in Zurich so far. The portions are just perfect, not too big certainly not too small. As a tip: they have an awesome local beer selection, and really could recommend us a beer based on our preferences. Definitely worth a visit during winter, but even more during summer, since they have a very nice beer garden

Great brunch, American food, large portions. The lower floor is cozy and quiet. It is louder on the upper floor, intended for families with small children, there is a play area.

We really liked it! Went without reservation with my son on a Sunday morning and it was fully booked. However, within seconds we got 2 seats directly on the counter with perfect view on the baristas, which was very entertaining. Placed our order and I was unsure if it will be enough food - the waitress looked at me and said "you will be satisfied", she wasnt lying. Within no time we had our eggs benedict with pulled pork (very tasty) our burrito and the buttermilk pancakes. My son and I had a discussion if we should take the buttermilk pancakes or the one with banane / salty caramel. The team solved it beautiful with adding on a seperate plate the banane and caramel as extra topping. So we had something like a 2 for 1 experience. People were coming nonstop and it got really busy. All in all we liked it very much especially the nice conversations with the friendly stuff. Great experience we come again with reservation the next time to try the ribs. And yes, we were more than satisfied!

It was ok, I didn't like that you couldn't always order what you wanted to because they didn't want to cook it like that... because they didn't want to cook it, so...

Didn't eat. Didn't drink. Waited 30 min at a dirty table before giving up and leaving.

Our waitress not only demonstrated warmth, professionalism, and impeccable attentiveness but also impressed us with her excellent English. In a country where English isn't native, her ability to communicate effectively added an extra layer of comfort to our dining experience. She showcased an impressive knowledge of the menu, providing great recommendations and ensuring our dining choices were tailored to our satisfaction. Despite not knowing her name, our waitress went above and beyond to accommodate a special request, enhancing our overall experience. In conclusion, the unnamed waitress at Fork & Bottle exemplified outstanding service, contributing significantly to our evening.

Fine burger without any frills, equally fine rib eye steak, friendly crew, reasonable prices - it fits.

Very nice place for weekend brunch. Perfect poche eggs. Big portion. Really tasty pankakes (with salty Carmel and banana or with berries). Also dogs are allowed in the garden.

I had a summer work event at Fork & Bottle. The staff had prepared a variety of small tapas-like snacks as well as a range of drinks, especially beer to choose from. We spent the summer evening out on the terrace. It was very nice.

A spontaneous family lunch this Sunday noon. The service is fast and friendly. The quantities are perfect for a family brunch. We had salmon and avocado eggs benedict, banana caramel pancake (very fatty caramel and overcooked unfortunately) and a red fruit waffle. Not great cuisine but OK. Consider booking

Very friendly and nice snacks/food

Nice restaurant in itself with a large outdoor area, right in the countryside. The food was average at best (tasteful, but also extremely fatty) and the staff only speaks English and naturally expects the same from their guests, i.e. they don't even understand a simple order (after so many years), and you still will Treated unfriendly and condescending if you dare to order in German. The menu is also available exclusively in English. To be honest, this arrogant behavior towards paying guests is a mystery to me; a little more respect for the local conditions on the part of the operator would definitely be appropriate. Therefore this was definitely the last visit to this restaurant. The owners also claim to serve the best coffee in Zurich... I absolutely cannot agree with that either.

Amazing staff! Great coffee and yummy food (still room for improvement, though *dry potatoes*, hence the 4 stars), and perfect for families with children. There is a separate floor for families, which is appreciated for groups without children, as well as for parents who are afraid of disturbing others. Great changing/ nursing room

Despite a reservation for brunch, we had to share a beer tent set (inside) without a backrest and a chair for 9 people. It is not known why a beer table was set up inside - the normal tables probably ran out of seating. At our request, one beer bench was replaced with chairs, but the other beer bench later collapsed along with the people who were sitting on it. They apologized sincerely, asked if everyone was okay and then brought chairs there too. A small amount of compensation would have been appropriate, but there was none. Because the table was much too small, no one could really eat well. We took it with humor, the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly, but we won't be coming back.

Great place to get your american food fix. Great burgers and great ribs. There are other vegetarian options as well and less heavy foods. Have an extensive beer list which I believe is made in house. Great place for families. Very friendly service. In the summer there is a lot of outdoor seating.

One of the things that drew us here in the first place was the American style food, and secondly was the kid friendly environment. It's a fine place to go with kids, as they have a play area upstairs and an outdoor play ground. The staff speaks English well. This was my second trip here. The first was disappointing, but I wanted to give it a second try, as my wife and I were looking forward to an American style brunch after a long hiatus. This second trip was worse, and each plate was worse than the last. The food is not worth 85 CHF. 1. The honey bacon on the eggs Benedict tasted more like a sweet teriyaki beef jerky than bacon, and the bun was hard and difficult to cut. Forget the fact that my plate came to me 10 minutes after my wife's and I had to get up and ask what happened to it; turns out my plate had to be remade because they took it to a different table and didn't bother to tell me. 2. The chorizo burrito was a total mess. The tortilla tasted stale, or like it had been under a heat lamp all day and was really difficult to cut with the weak knives provided, and it was totally covered with toppings so picking it up to eat it was not possible. 3. The pancakes were the second best part of the meal. They tasted good, and the imported maple syrup is a major plus, but pancake taste aside, it was somehow not cooked all the way through. It was still edible, but this was at 1:30pm, and they had closed the kitchens down to swap from the brunch menu to the normal menu. 4. The best part of the whole meal was the Chai latte. Perhaps a bit sweeter than most chais I've had, but I actually enjoyed it. 5. No complaints as far as I could tell on the scrambled eggs. My daughter asked for more. I'm sorry to say this is the last time we'll go here.

Very, very cozy place for a coffee - with fair prices for ZH. It's a shame I didn't have more time - for the summer: super nice garden. You immediately feel at home there.

The salted caramel bread pudding was to die for.

This place is completely overpriced. For some reason, the staff only speaks English, and the menu is written primarily in that language. You also have to keep your jacket on inside because there is a strong draft and everything is open. It's a shame about the cozy atmosphere. The food was okay, but nothing earth-shattering. The price-performance ratio is completely unjustified.

You really get the full english experience there. Completely unfriendly and impolite service. Frankly, the waitress seemed to hate her Job. Food also tastes like cardboard. The beans and toast i had in Britain tasted better.

Food really wasnt good at all. Side salade with loads of sauce which seemed to be plain mayonnaise. Service was ok.

We had a nice Brunch there. Really love the ambience. The reason why its only a 4 star review is, I had an Acai bowl which was basically cereals with yoghurt. An Acai is something totally different! Also the price is way too much if there is no Acai in it

Good burgers and snacks. Very large selection of craft beer and a cozy garden seating area to enjoy the evening sun in summer. There are also enough parking spaces available and it is also very easy to reach by public transport.

I’ve gone to this restaurant for a brunch with friends and it’s been a very good experience - coffee tastes great (they also have a non-lactose choice with oatmilk), the food was really good also, and enjoyed the drinks too. I’ve had an avocado smash with a poached egg that I would definitely recommend, tasted their cappuccino and also a homemade ice tea. I’d definitely recommend the place to others, feels very vibrant, cosy and people speak English also, which helped given we’re expats.

Food is alright. I had a full english breakfast, besides the butter bring melted upon serving the food, everything tasted quite good. Atmosphere is pretty nice with the big dog park right next to the restaurant

Although I had made a reservation, no table was reserved for us, but we didn't have to wait long until one was assigned to us. We didn't have to wait long for the food, but the service was quite chaotic and, in my opinion, disorganized. It's a shame that the menu is only written in English, I would have liked it in German too. The food was good, unfortunately a bit bland on the plate. served on the wooden tray. I was pleasantly surprised by the espresso, which was really good. Will I come back? I don't know!

Place a bit loud from the street, as was the music. Very nice green towards the back. Caesar salad was a joke, has nothing to do with a Caesar salad. Greens, a little sauce and grated cheese on top. Just like the truffle chips, too cheesy doesn't go well, but it's a matter of taste. Sweet potatoes were amazing. Burger was great.

I have been to this place twice (Sunday) a very nice place with a nice terrace very fast service and very fresh and delicious food. For a brunch with friends or family it is ideal. I have gone with my son and he loves it. Hot chocolate is my child's favorite. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Everything was very fine and well prepared. Maybe a map in German would be very helpful. It's not easy if you don't understand English.

The brunch menu is delicious. Staff seems to only speak english but are really nice, and some do speak a bit of german. Its a busy place during brunch tine so don't expect speedy service and make sure to reserve. The atmosphere outside is nice, but loses just one star for the janky music speaker on a pole that makes the music a bit tinny and almost more annoying than enjoyable.

Generally a great place to eat. Out of the way but the vibes are great and the food, though not too adventurous, is good quality.

Nice place near the greenery, a large park, too bad it's also close to the road and convenient because there is an immediate entrance to the motorway, good food but it's expensive and there's nothing special about it from the usual fast food burger.

Excellent bruch in a chilled and relaxed athmosphere. The service was quick and our waitress was super nice and smiling. The food was really tasty: we tried the French Toast, the Buttermilk Pancakes and the Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict, which was absolutely fantastic!! 5 super deserved stars.

Love this place, especially in the summer. It's a nice farmhouse converted into a restaurant with an American inspired menu including delicious burgers and a Philadelphia Cheesesteak (rare in ZH)! The weekend brunch menu is fantastic with classics such as pancakes, eggs benedict and even a full English breakfast. The outdoor area is very cosy and had a little playground for kids. Staff is super friendly. Make sure to reserve ahead as it gets full.

Fork: In my previous visits (quite a while ago), the soft-shell crab burger had been exceptional. However, my recent experience left me a tad disappointed. Now the spices, though intended to enhance, veer slightly towards excess. Overall decent, but I don't think I will come back for it. Bottle: If you are in for craft beers there are better places in Zurich. Notably, their "Fresh IPAs" are often canned around 3 months prior, resulting in a loss of the vibrant, hop-forward character that defines this style. So instead of getting refreshing, citrusy beer with a nice bitter punch you end up with a flat, dull drink which is not really enjoyable, especially during hot summer.

I love this place. Good brunches and burgers.

Good place for a brunch, although they offer lots of dishes, the food itself wasn't anything to write home about. The service was great and the outside area allows dogs which is nice.

This is a nice place with plentiful food and great service. It serves a great selection of brunch and breakfast options, and is in a nice location if you have a car. It's a bit far away with public transportation. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with spinach, the breakfast burrito, and some pancakes. While all the food was delicious as it is, we thought it needed a bit more seasoning to fully unlock the taste of the food. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially thanks to the nice staff and service.

Lunch while feeling the pleasant breeze

Was there for brunch for the first time yesterday and was really impressed. The selection is varied and my choice was incredibly delicious. In addition, I have never received an order as quickly as I did there. Always happy again ☺️🙌🏻

Three things are very american here. The staff super friendly and funny. the food is prepped quicker than anything you've ever seen and the portions are huge. The salted peanutbutter pancakes are my personal favourite, together with a mimosa of course. The dinning area in the summer is huge has a little play ground for Kids and lots of shade. You can also dine inside in the winter. The prices are ok and well worth what you get.

A beautiful spot for a Sunday morning brunch in summer! Great selection of dishes (avocado taste, breakfast burrito, pancakes, etc.), some of which are very large and hearty, but very tasty. The ambience is reminiscent of an American restaurant, combined with a Swiss garden and idyll (there is pleasant music playing in the background). Service was also super nice and quick. The homemade iced tea is highly recommended!!! In summary, a cozy place to start the day on a sunny Sunday morning!

Nice restaurant with great food. We had the fish and chips and the Philly cheese steak. Having lived in Philly, we know Philly cheese steaks. This one is really good! Definitely authentic and the bread is great. Fish and chips also very good. Nice breading! The beer selection is very nice. The outside seating is very nice if you go on a nice night or days.

We were here for a birthday. The food was good. But you don't get a menu at Fork & Bottle, even if you say please. It just points to the QR cube. And we had to order in English, she couldn't speak German. Plus the highway and loud motorcycles. We won't go there anymore because the price and performance are not right. A beer costs 11.--, maybe that's normal in Zurich, at home I get 3 beers for that...

The atmosphere is so niice and relaxing and the food is quite good and offers great variety and freshness. The buns from our burgers were not the best but the rest was lovely. The staff is very nice! Great location for a nice walk afterwards. They welcome dogs and babies too. We will come again ❤️

Nice place inside Zurich that resembles country place. It gets too hot outside in the summer months and sometimes there is a scent from the stable nearby. Make sure to get the slow cooker pork

The large outdoor area of Fork & Bottle is simply the best when the weather is nice! Plenty of shade too. They offer a big and creative brunch menu, craft beers, and lots of space for kids to play/ roam around. I particularly appreciate that they are so dog friendly. The vibe is very laid back, it's usually a bit loud and busy but the service is very good. You hear many different languages spoken as it's popular with expats. Reserve well in advance for brunch!

It is a cool place, nice terrace, great beers, good staff. Prices are high and the quality-price ratio may not be the best. In my case I had the slow cooked and smoked ribs, same as other friends. None of us were happy with the quality of the dish. Our opinion was that they were too dry, too smoked and lacking flavour. Fries were delicious, but would have appreciated to have more coleslaw or salad. The burgers were appreciated. I guess there's potential for better food.

Nice outdoor area, especially in summer. A good portion of delicious food - one dish is enough for brunch. Service took a little long but the food came within 5 minutes.

Seems like our go to backup, but it is but that. Staff is friendly - slightly surprising for Zürich- and the food is what it is advertised as: filling while you enjoy the drinks and the view.

Beautiful location, very nice and attentive staff 👍 If there had been porridge with the English breakfast, we would have felt like we were in England 😉
