Nice, but staff could be a bit friendlier..

I would like to judge how the food is, but unfortunately you don't get any service here. We had to wait 10 minutes until we were asked what we wanted to drink, after which there was no more service. Four employees but none of them are interested in the guests.

We were there for Saturday brunch. The service was ok, but we still had to wait a lot for the drinks and also for the food... Some of us ordered shakshuka and we didn't like it at all...The portions are also very small...

Wanted to go for brunch here with my baby and sister. After carrying the stroller up the staircase into the coffee we were told strollers were not welcome here. The way in which this was said made it seem as if strollers and babies are not welcome. Instead laptops and single orders of coffee seem to be the clientele they want. We wont be coming back.

The taste was excellent and definitely worth the experience. However, I have to admit that the prices at Hippie Café were slightly higher than other cafés in the city. Nevertheless, I found that the overall experience and the quality of the coffee definitely justified the price. All in all, my visit to the Hippie Café was fine. The atmosphere and the special coffee experience were worth it, even if it was a little more expensive than expected. For an occasional excursion into the world of hippie culture and for lovers of exceptional coffee specialties, this café is definitely worth a visit.

The drinks are a bit overpriced and the two Spritz we ordered were barely alcoholic. Tasted more like a Schorle honestly.

I'm used to Zurich prices, but at 16.00 for two small pieces of cheesecake, even I had to swallow everything, homemade or not. But even worse is the guy with a ponytail who was really rude to us. Tried their matcha latte, wouldn’t recommend but the fresh ginger tea is nice.
