We recently visited this restaurant as a group, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Despite a high price per person for the buffet, the quantity of food was insufficient for our group of 20, leaving us still hungry at the end of the meal. Additionally, the quality of the food left something to be desired, appearing to be mostly frozen meals. Although the waitress was friendly and did her best to rectify the situation, chatting with the chefs in the kitchen and offering us free desserts, it was not enough to make up for our disappointment. The initial discount offered was also unsatisfactory in relation to the inconvenience suffered. However, after a discussion with the owner, we finally got a more appropriate discount. Unfortunately, despite the staff's efforts, this experience left a lasting bad impression. As the saying goes, "You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression", and unfortunately, this restaurant missed that opportunity. We are not inclined to return and recommend this establishment.

A shame, a so-called buffet for 40.- per person or 3 skewers chasing each other, no quality frozen food and no restocking.

Valentine's Day: all dishes sent within one hour. No time for an aperitif. Food good but cold and overpriced.

If the atmosphere and the party are there in the evening, at lunchtime it is completely different. The place is quiet and the view of the cathedral is very beautiful, I appreciate that. Pleasant to chat quietly. A new chef has just arrived and there are now different daily specials every day. The lemony perch tempura is a treat, the portion is generous. The boss is very friendly and happy to come and chat. He is very commercial and grateful for the loyalty of his customers. Go there at lunchtime, it's definitely worth it.

I came on Saturday evening, I had a great evening. I ate well and the service was pleasant.

Online table reservation is great! However, if you have decided to be part of the gourmet passport. It would be useful to mention it in your form and above all to respect the conditions by noting your conditions that you accept “greedy passport” customers only during the first services on the weekend!!! This information I guess we have to guess :) You have a line there dedicated for this occasion in order to inform your future customers. What a shame.

Catastrophic, no communication regarding cooking. I asked twice so that they cooked the meat better and I always received raw.... I do not recommend coming to eat in this restaurant.

-Very very good food -very festive atmosphere (fairly loud music, don't go there on a date, a birthday or a night out would be best) POOR SERVICE & ENDLESS WAITING I arrived at 9 p.m. (luckily my girlfriends were late) we were seated at 9:20 p.m. (which happens when the room is full.) We had to wait another good twenty minutes to get the cards. Result: we received our cocktail at 10:20 p.m. and our dishes at almost 11 p.m. ALMOST 40.- MORE FOR NOTHING! They made me pay for an imaginary drink. I ordered a second cocktail which never came, so I asked for one again, specifying that I had not received the previous one. And to top it all off, they added a dessert for 24.- which we didn't have. Having not been able to see the same evening due to the light and the noise, it was only a week later when we were having sex with my friends that I noticed this.

Discovered with the PG, this restaurant was a nice surprise. We ate there in the evening and had a great time. The beef tartare is recommended for all fans of the thing. We will definitely come back.

Too much music we can't hear ourselves talking, we ordered a cake at midnight for a birthday (it never arrived), the dishes are bland and tasteless. Too expensive for poor service. The servers are not friendly. Very disapointed!

An endless wait between each course (even though everything was ordered in advance except the starters) and even for the drinks! Really bad food, they didn't even ask for the cooking we wanted before serving us the meat. Which meant that some ended up with almost raw meat. Look carefully at the reviews before going because we are far from being the only ones to think so… The birthday cake was completely frozen by the way and all this for a total of almost 900.-? Money thrown out the window and a birthday almost ruined.

I’m eating something at the bar. And when I ask for a glass of water the barman tells me he has more important things to do than serving me water. Yeah ok man, I’m eating, I ordered cocktails before and I’ll take more after. Just give me water to eat my risotto.

The restaurant was a big disappointment. We waited an hour despite our reservation, the service was chaotic and disorganized. The dishes were cold and without seasoning. The price was not justified at all. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to.

Attentive staff, Out for dinner, we were well taken care of from start to finish!

So we booked a big table for our company x-mas dinner for around 25 people. Most of the people arrived at 1900, some hummus, pitas and welcome drinks were served - so far so good. We have been seated at the table a bit before 20:00, from then on the ordeal began. (I would like to mention that most of the people came from work so haven't had a proper meal since lunch.) Arriving at the restaurant at 19:00 one would think that the meals would be ready quickly, as already chosen up front. At 20:30 finally the first course arrived (either salad, vol-au-vent or carpaccio de pulpo). With my little (boring but ok) green salad I got 1 slice of bread, being promised more "later". It took around 1h to get more bread for everyone but still no sight of the main course. Long minutes pass, still no food to be seen and to make us wait longer we got served a shaker of shots for everyone at around 21:45 - great to serve alcohol when most of the people are just starving, not to mention those who don't drink alcohol. At around 22:00 suddenly I had a plate of Risotto in front of me just to find out that it was served accidentally and was meant for another table - how pleasant! Finally the main course arrived at around 22:30 (2h from when the first course was served), one of our colleagues even left before since he had to catch his train. So not only did I receive the Risotto that I ordered insanely late but it wasn't even cooked thoroughly. If you call that "al-dente" as a chef you should reconsider your job - it was simply not cooked long enough. Dessert followed rather quickly at around 23:05, I had chosen Panna Cotta which obviously wasn't ready yet and asking for it, since I had to leave soon, I was quickly served. I was hoping for at least one nice culinary surprise that evening, but to add to my disappointment it was still half frozen. So the only pleasant thing for me yesterday night was the DJ's pretty entertaining playlist which made our people dance at least. (I should mention the 2 bottles of red wine that were offered additionally for the wait - but I am sorry, that wouldn't make up for spoiling our x-mas dinner). Maybe this place is worth a stop for a regular dinner, smaller tables seemed to enjoy themselves, but I sincerely can't recommend it for a bigger gathering since they apparently can't handle it.

The Cali restaurant in Lausanne is really something! A unique atmosphere that stands out from the crowd. As soon as we arrived, the welcome was great, super friendly, it put us straight into a positive atmosphere. The service was on point, the staff was there, attentive, and they knew the menu well. They guided us well in the choice of dishes, and each bite was a fireworks display of flavors. The chef really knows how to do it. The variety of dishes in Cali is a culinary world tour with each plate. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a perfect mix between classy and festive. The decor has its own style and the room vibrated with the energy of the customers, a lively atmosphere. In short, our evening at Cali was a special experience, full of flavors and good times. If you're looking for a cool place in Switzerland to have fun, Cali is the best. Well done to the whole team for creating such a great and memorable venue.

As a starter, a scallop risotto (only 2…) including the undercooked rice! Followed by a Rossini beef fillet without foie gras since it was simply forgotten! For dessert, a trilogy of desserts that were not taken out of the freezer early enough and were still frozen inside..! In terms of service, quite nice but don't ask for bread or to have drinks at the same time as your plates... In conclusion, you can only find better and for less money elsewhere.

Do not trust the negative comments about this establishment because it is quite the opposite: the welcome is warm, the staff is dedicated and efficient (excellent and fast service), the food is good and the atmosphere is great. Very well received at the Little Cali bar downstairs with the official bartender Jordan, very professional and very good atmosphere, it's a pleasure, it's not everywhere in Lausanne that you are received this way. Hidden place but the find is very surprising! Highly recommended!

We came with my friend and I ordered a tuna ceviche as a starter. I was served sea bream… My friend asked for the barbecue sauce with his meat dish and we were served a basic tomato sauce while being assured that it was barbecue.

A shame how customers are treated, forced to reserve a table for 10 people who have to choose a menu 2 days before to wait 3 hours before being able to eat (table reserved for 7:30 p.m., starter served at 11:00 p.m., dishonest waiter, shoving the guests and the Aggressive, wrong dishes served. A shame such a service for menus at CHF 80.- without drinks. We did not go beyond the entry received at 11:00 p.m., being unable to wait any longer and having made ourselves verbally attacked all evening. Restaurant not only to flee, but to close urgently in view of all the sabotaged birthdays. They shame the entire profession!

Catastrophic service: After a stay in this establishment, unfortunately only defects emerged. Indeed, the meals were not coordinated and there was a wait of two hours so that in the end we all ate staggered and note that the starters came before the drinks. After complaining, the waiters were kind enough to offer us a gesture regarding the bill, unfortunately this did not prevent our dissatisfaction. The restaurant, although it has potential, is not recommended during this period.

Very disappointed, the behavior of the servers is unacceptable, they respond in a cold manner, come and attack us at the table because we left a bad review, the menu arrived cold and did not correspond to the choice made previously. Really this restaurant is to be avoided, a wasted birthday. If you want a good experience don't go there you will be greatly disappointed.

There is a lot of waiting time. We reserved a table for 9 p.m. and weren't able to be seated until 10 p.m. Cooking takes too long for dishes. But the dj was on top that day and had good music. We eat well, that’s true, but you have to have a lot of patience.

"My recent experience at this restaurant was so disappointing that I feel the need to share my review to inform other potential customers. From the start, the wait between courses was excessively long, turning what should have been a enjoyable meal into a test of endurance. The dishes, unfortunately, did not correspond at all to what was described on the menu. This added to the disappointment and highlighted a lack of consistency between the expectations created and the reality of what was being served. A birthday celebration, for which we purchased candles, was ruined when they were used on the cake for another customer. A disappointing lack of coordination which significantly affected the ambiance of our table. The culmination of dissatisfaction was the behavior of the waiter. Not only did we face derogatory remarks for leaving a negative review on Google, but unordered items were also added to the final bill, which is unacceptable. Despite this, a gesture was made on the part of the restaurant, although it was done reluctantly: a complimentary bottle of vodka, even though more than half the table did not drink alcohol. This gesture unfortunately does not erase the bad experience we had. Finally, the tension came to a head when conflicts broke out between the waiter and one of the customers at our table, creating an uncomfortable and inappropriate atmosphere. For an addition exceeding 1,000 francs, this experience is totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience and service that meets expectations."

Beautiful restaurant and very good atmosphere despite the music being quite loud that you can no longer hear it. The meal is very good, but not worth the price. The wait, a horror. Between starter, main course and dessert MINIMUM 1 hour wait between each. And the service let's not talk about it.. Despite everything, they are very nice, but I won't go back.

To seriously avoid… 3h30 to eat a tiny dish for 41 CHF (trio of fish pie) and a dessert. Dessert was ordered in advance: a birthday cake. We had to ask for the cake to be brought to us quickly because our guests wanted to leave because the waiting times were so long, our reminders were tedious and boring! The cake finally arrived, certainly a very pretty Number cake... But we won't know anything about it since it was never presented to us on the table. The cake and its artifices remained on the rolling tray all the way until plated service!!! After 30 minutes of waiting to finally be able to pay and change rooms, a waiter came back to get us downstairs to ask us... to pay!!! His server had not “closed” the table… instead of looking in their credit card receipts we had to prove ourselves that we had paid. In short… to avoid when you appreciate the catering and the sense of service.

Average experience, both in terms of service and dishes. The starters were served immediately after the cocktails we had ordered for the aperitif. We would have appreciated having time to drink our cocktails before the meal, especially since we had ordered wine afterwards. The wait between the starter and the main course was relatively long. The dishes were carefully presented, the beef steak was very good but the tuna on the other hand had no taste. The salad had been poorly cleaned, there was sand. Finally, we were disappointed with the tiramisu which was mainly based on whipped cream.

We were not at all happy with the restaurant you can move on. The meals are not very good and super expensive for what they are and the staff really needs to be reviewed in the way they speak to customers. The wait is more than long, more than 1 hour 20 minutes for meals. When delivering meals, there are errors. Our only request when booking not to be placed towards the dj and become what? We were there at a table right next to each other. The only positive point is the music that the DJ plays.

I discovered this place and I am delighted. I recommend 600%. Very nice setting, very good meal, great and cheerful service which makes the evening even more pleasant. Very good DJ too with good sound. I will come back with great pleasure.

An unpleasant and disrespectful waiter. The restaurant contacts us 1 hour before our schedule to postpone our reservation by 30 minutes. We order our drinks, they arrive 35 minutes later. The restaurant had a list of all dishes for 2 days. The starter arrives 1:40 later, the main course 30 minutes later and the dessert at 00:00. No GESTURE for all its inconveniences.

By far the best restaurant I have eaten at in Switzerland, the food is of extremely rare quality (with a complete menu), the people are great, the atmosphere is soothing and the restaurant is very chic. I highly recommend it to all lovers of very good gourmet restaurants.

Unfortunate experience for a surprise birthday! We had a bad evening in this establishment, although it was initially chosen for its particularly festive atmosphere. The start of the service started off badly with a very unpleasant waitress who clearly had no desire to serve us. No matter what requests or questions customers had, everything was taken personally and defensively. We felt attacked by the latter. What was our surprise at the end of the evening after several problems that arose to learn that it was the one in charge!!! Ashamed 1) Most unpleasant manager who had no desire to serve us despite an addition of more than 700.- 2) Problem in the service of desserts which were missing and where we had to request to receive 2 gourmet coffees in their entirety. Unfortunately, the service was carried out by the bartender who was a little overwhelmed by the situation because the waitress/manager was avoiding us! 3) PIECES OF GLASS were found in a dessert and the person ate them (how dangerous it is). When we called the famous manager, again, instead of apologizing for what happened, she just expressed her surprise and the fact that it was not possible. The birthday boy even had to go to the kitchen to find that there was no glass (where are we?) 4) The shot bar was closed and no member of the staff informed us! I would point out that without that, we would never have come to this restaurant/bar given that a festive atmosphere was sought. We were even told the opposite. When explanations were requested in the utmost politeness, again, aggressiveness on the part of the manager. 5) A bottle of Prosecco at 10.-, the dessert containing glass inside, and a dish were offered to us. Shots were also offered to us at the end of the service, but who wants to continue an evening like this in this restaurant with a very kind manager? For everything that happened, we are disgusted to have paid more than 700.- in addition to being talked like crap again. What is certain is that the majority of people present at this anniversary will never set foot in this establishment again where customers are treated like nothing despite a reserved and paid service/service. Too bad because the food is relatively good but the service is SHARE. PS: Thanks to the waitress (employee) and the bartender who at least were smiling and attentive to customers. We wish them courage. ________________ Following the event and the various opinions, the establishment contacted us to offer a voucher of 50.- to each of the 15 people present. We decided to decline their offer because in our opinion the gesture should have been done the same day. We still thank them for their apologies.

The worst experience of my life. A rather good start to the evening which turned into a total disappointment. The manager totally lacks professionalism. The slightest question is taken as an affront. The manager spoke to us very badly and accused us of being disrespectful customers. We had reservations because there was supposed to be a DJ who never came. This could happen but those in charge knew it in advance and did not communicate the information to us. This was the trigger for the argument with the manager because we dared to inquire about the DJ's arrival. As we got so upset, the bottle of red we ordered never arrived. The dishes were good but nothing more, the price is not justified. For dessert, we ordered strawberries without whipped cream which arrived drowned in whipped cream and 2 gourmet coffees for which we had to ask for the missing pieces because it was the bartender who served us and he did not know the details of the menu. This was due to the manager avoiding us. Finally, the icing on the cake, we found small pieces of glass in one of the desserts. When we reported it, the managers assured us that it was impossible because there is no glass in their kitchen and took the person who had the glass into the kitchen to prove their point. However, the dish of the person who had the drink was offered, as well as a bottle of Prosecco (at 10CHF) and a series of shots. We had come to celebrate a birthday, there were 15 of us and despite everything we tried to enjoy this meal which lasted more than 3 hours between the various arguments and the slow service. I do not recommend this restaurant and wish a lot of courage to the bartender and the waitress who have a much more developed sense of professionalism and customer service than their manager.

Barbecue sauce is a sweet sauce with a smoky flavor originally from the South of the United States. Made with onion, garlic and honey, I saw none of that in the Cali BBQ sauce. I'm not talking about a basic Ketchup sauce that I was served, but a tomato sauce superficially seasoned with Tabasco! The vegetables were dipped in oil and the salad drowned in sauce. On the other hand, the cooking of the meat was well respected and the drinks chosen were delicious. We didn't have dessert because we didn't want to make the same mistake as the next table where customers waited 45 minutes for a chocolate fondant. In the future, at least try to serve what is noted on your card. And not sea bream instead of red tuna! This will give you a certain credibility in the eyes of professionals who come to taste your dishes. Overall feeling of disappointment. I wouldn't necessarily recommend.

Just a great place with an excellent atmosphere and lots of little details that make the difference, very good quality food, especially to recommend the beef steak which was incredibly good. Very friendly and welcoming waiters. Very accessible location just opposite the Lausanne palace. The price is correct and adapted to the place which is above average class.

Great time. We came for the first service, it was quiet with a pleasant atmosphere. On the other hand, the proximity of the DJ does not seem appropriate for a dinner. The server was attentive, very friendly 👍🏼. I had the Cali Burger, a MUST!!! I honestly think it was the best burger I've ever eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant.
