I ate sushi and chicken fried rice and everything was perfect! I took the opportunity to have a shisha and the shisha was very good too, I had a very good time. And I noticed they redid the interior and it’s beautiful, thanks for everything!

TASTELESS FOOD, simply HORRIBLE! I ordered Ramen and since it was impossible to eat I asked to exchange it for another dish and they simply refused and turned their back. LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE CONSUMER! Don't achieve this result!

I live in lausanne since 2009 and this restaurant is one of the best in the city. Amazing Asian food (the best japanese, korean, Thai, the region IMO), very kind and friendly staff, great location, best drinks and fair price. My first go-to resto in Lausanne.

Disgusting tasteless food and major hygiene issues. a restaurant with major hygiene problems. a workplace surrounded by workers working overtime and without work permits makes it impossible to prepare good food. I really demand that they do a worker and hygiene inspection at the same time, because this restaurant has big problems from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. or midnight, do the same people work every day? This restaurant must be hiding something that treats its employees poorly.

I believe that the negative comments are coming from peope who have the high expectations of a authentic japanese. It isn't, it's adapted to the market, but for us everything went perfect: service (super fast and nice person), good quality sushi, all great! Thank you

Beautiful menu, I had a spicy beef, nothing to say, really delicious, I tasted apple and ice cream gyoza for dessert, a real treat. A very good discovery for me, I highly recommend.

I wanted to enjoy a good Japanese dish again after what I saw. I have to advise anyone who loves original Japanese cuisine to go to this restaurant. The taste of the dishes is too much adapted to Europeans. I don't recognize Japan in the food and the wasabi is so weak that it's not worth eating. In the end, they really turned a Japanese restaurant into a shisha bar that has fries on the menu.

They are well placed. Food is average. Nothing there that will make you remember them. Swiss prices.

Half hot sushi. Bimpibamb with dry condiments including pork, unseasoned mushrooms, broccoli either. Too expensive for what it is.

Sushi rolls OK, the rice tasteless, daily menu not as good as it used too. A couple of years ago it was great. No more tempura.

Hot cocktail without ice cubes... we serve you the dishes at the same time as the Cocktails... when you ask for the wine list they put it in your face and we don't come back to take the order... the service without a smile is zero ... only one waiter was friendly... brief impression that you are quickly pushed towards the exit to clear the place for the next ones.. positive point we eat well

Very good service just a little quick because they serve everything at the same time, very good dishes and very friendly waiters, on the other hand having to eat with your jacket on because too much air conditioning is not great, out of 6 of us there were 3 who kept their down jackets on so not pleasant at all.

Food for me just OK.. Experience: the table takes turns paying with a tip at the card machine. As soon as the last one pays, the waiter turns and calls his colleague...and leaves... No goodbye, no thanks. You won't see me anymore.

May 2022 Still as good. The seaweed salad, the beef tataki or the assortment of sashimi... nothing but happiness, a treat. The Flon car park just 10 meters away, great. The only downside is that the cards have been the same for years and their condition is affected. I came for lunch at the Tokyo bar restaurant in Lausanne and I can only say that the experience was surprisingly pleasant. The staff was very attentive and kind and the food was just delicious, completely satisfied I would like to congratulate the entire team because they deserve this recognition!

Good morning, Friday evening, I came to your Tokyo bar-restaurant with a friend around 6 p.m. While waiting to receive the ordered cocktails, one of your servers spilled 4 cocktails on me! I was drenched from head to toe. The waiter remained embarrassed and I got up myself to go to the toilet to wipe up all those cocktails that had just stained, wet my white clothes and stick to my hair. You can imagine that these white clothes are now stiff. It was only a few minutes after returning from the toilet that the waiter apologized. I am very angry because on a commercial level, I find your attitude zero, you made me pay for my cocktail even though I asked for something from you. Another waiter told me that his boss, therefore you, was against it. I can assure you that I will share this experience with whomever it may concern. You are not a merchant and I will not return to your establishment again. An accident can happen but the least you can do is try to fix the situation and not make it worse! A cocktail doesn't change your life to offer it, zero attitude you had!

Long rice in a Japanese restaurant lol??? Normally it's japonica rice even if it comes from California or Italy. Kind of instant noodles for ramen. Anything. And the champions of Paris will find some in Japan lol Not even eating that you see mistakes just looking at the photos.

The server was nice, hence the star. We were served a ramen that was light years away from what real ramen is… a tasteless broth, 4 vegetables fighting a duel in the bowl, meat that was hard to chew and a hard-boiled egg that was far from runny… all for almost 30.- The starters, a tuna tataki for 18.- and 3 shrimp gyoza for 9.- really didn't break the house. The tataki did not seem to have been seared just before being served and the gyoza stuffing consisted of little ready, a piece of shrimp lost in a too thick batter. It seems that the chef is Japanese...unfortunately I didn't have the chance to meet him to congratulate him. In short, a memorable culinary experience.

Incredibly execrable. To begin with, the back terrace is horribly noisy due to the shouting of some minors and the worst part of all is that they were served by the shisha man! I saw some of them using drugs and rolling joints. A totally childish and irresponsible image of the bar. The waiters are crazy, they talk to us as if we were family, some shout and insult other customers, there is a waiter who even came to blows with his colleague and customers in front of me! Besides the fact that 99% of employees do not speak French, the boss is disrespectful, rude and not at all grateful to her customers. Not to mention the really mediocre quality dishes at totally inflated prices. If you have the opportunity to go to Lausanne, avoid this bar I'll spare you the trouble. On the other hand, I recommend the bars next door. The Istanbul for the food is great, the Tao for the hookahs is superb, the staff of the latter are more professional.

HORRIBLE! Do not go to this bar. They serve shisha to minors without scruple so it feels like a daycare with a lot of noise. In addition, the boss does not hesitate to insult and treat customers as liars, like when I found lots of hair in my dish and I had to pay for it. The servers for the most part do not speak French and do not hesitate to use colloquial terms and be rude for no reason. In short, the Tokyo is a bar run by a rude owner and illiterate waiters with the icing on the cake of excessive prices for low-end meals. The bars next to Tokyo are excellent and save the image of Flon and fortunately!

Great location in the heart of Lausanne's more eccentric locale. The food is pricey and a bit too takeaway taste and quality to warrant the price. You probably are paying for the location more than the meal. This, and the fact that you can smoke Shisha on the accompanying terrace makes me think that this is not a restaurant aimed at a gourmet exoerience. Great for an afternoon of drinking with friends, not so much for an authentic Japanese meal (there wasn't a chopstick in sight). But as such, the food was satisfying, and with great company the location offers a great location for a friendly get together or an evening drinking frivolity.
