Cantinetta Bindella in Winterthur

Excellent food, great service. Always and anytime at Cantinetta Winterthur!

They have 3-4 tables outside. We were looking to have an aperitivo and there was one table free. We asked if we could sit, and they said no, because we would have to order food, despite the other tables also only ordering drinks. When we mentioned that, they told us that it didn't matter..

Everything was perfect, delicious food from starters to dessert, very friendly, attentive service. We'd love to come back.

Very good and dignified restaurant

Perfect for fans of Italian cuisine who don't necessarily want to eat pizza. Delicious food, fantastic bread and bruschettas, friendly service that wasn't always attentive - but the restaurant was also full. Hence the somewhat unpleasant volume. The Arabiata might also be a little spicier. It was all right for our happy group. The good wine wasn't exactly cheap. So gladly again, but not too often.

Found an empty restaurant in the middle of the afternoon. Still a full selection from the menu. Wonderful service from Egzona and top quality of the food. The wine recommendation was also great. 5 Stars!

Were there for dinner. The restaurant is more upscale, so the prices are higher. However, the friendly service and the very good food completely justify this! All in all, it was a wonderful, comfortable and satisfying evening. Thank you very much!

Unfortunately, far too loud! When the restaurant is full, it's almost impossible to have a conversation!

The food and seavice was great. What surprised us a bit was the bacon on the salad, which cost a whopping 9 francs. It was still a bit noisy in the restaurant and it was a shame that the white tablecloths were covered with a white paper towel, which was annoying.

The waiter was very charming. We got a seat in the very full (and therefore very noisy) restaurant with a time limit, which was completely fine. The portions are rather small (compared to the price), the homemade pasta was good but difficult to eat because it was sticky, and the potatoes could have stayed in the pan longer.

Excellent service from the waiters, very attentive. The presentation of the dishes are beautiful and the flavors are wonderful. We went to the nearby restaurant and were not served nearly as well as we were here. They are to be congratulated! May more Brazilians discover this restaurant.

All you can say is: great. Very good food. Service is super friendly and competent. As with most Bindella restaurants, there are beautiful paintings and sculptures in the restaurant that contribute to a unique atmosphere. The restaurant is really recommended.

The Vitello tonnato impresses again and again. And when there's osso buco, I can't hold back anymore. It couldn't be better. – It should not go unmentioned that the wines and the service are also convincing. Dani (Daniel Steiger) as managing director and Hatem (his deputy) have a great crew at their side. Conclusion: A culinary oasis in the heart of Winterthur.

Great restaurant in the middle of Marktgasse. Our spaghetti tricolore and carbonara were delicious. I appreciate the clear menu. Price/performance ratio is right and the staff is attentive and very friendly.

Anyone who loves Italianità will always make their way to Cantinetta Bindella on Marktgasse in Winterthur. Great location, friendly and attentive service and the wonderful food - as if cooked by Nonna - super delicious. My tagliatelle (fatto in the casa!) all'arrabbiata, perfect cottura, very aromatic sugo with a balanced spiciness, are heaven on earth! A great dish, homemade with all the ingredients, for CHF 21.00 is simply sensational and the portion was really big. Thank you all! Lunch with you was like a day of vacation!

An Italian restaurant specializing in meat, pasta and well-known Italian dishes. There are no pizzas here. Service very friendly. Prices are in the upper segment but it's worth it. The taste of the food is good to very good. Important, it is always advisable to make a reservation here. Because the restaurant is always busy. We were there on Sunday evening and it was very busy. Almost impossible to get a seat without a reservation. It is also in the middle of the pedestrian zone. Payment possible in cash or well-known payment cards,

On Tuesday, like every year, I went to the Christmas market in Winterthur with my daughter. We then decided on this restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome even without a reservation. And the food was very delicious and the two menus you had that day were great. Be careful, there are no pizzas, which I found good, but there are plenty of Italian specialties. We just say thank you to all the employees, everything was professional, including the atmosphere. Top

It's always nice to visit the Cantinetta. Above all, the service is outstanding. Courteous, attentive and above all friendly. The food also tastes wonderful. Great Italian dishes that are not just run-of-the-mill dishes. But rather appear traditionally Italian.

Two of us were there last night. The service was very friendly and attentive. The wine and food were fantastic. Piece of lamb kidney was fried to perfection, great side dish. The carbonara was also very tasty, but for me it could have been more al dente, but that's a matter of taste. For dessert we both had panacotta, which was also fantastic. The manager was very attentive and even brought us a little extra raspberry sauce for the panacotta. A very successful evening for two in a great atmosphere!

We were there on June 23rd. on business at the Cantinetta in Winterthur and were very positively surprised. Several employees served quickly and friendly and every request was catered for. The food was very tasty and the menu was very balanced. We'd love to come back!

Excellent address for those who love Italian cuisine. Friendly waitress, excellent dishes, fair price. Very good memory (especially of their primitivo wine! but I did not take note of the reference.)

Very bad experience Group of 12 people, spending more than 1K asking for a limoncello, everything was friendly until the bill came out 48 francs…nothing was abnormal for them, Swiss Germans at their best !

Thank you Cantinetta Bindella!! This restaurant has the most friendly and professional staff and absolutely outstanding food!! My wife is Celiac and they also have an amazing array of gluten free dishes on their menu. I phoned in advance to inquire about the gluten-free options on their menu and they were most accommodating. We felt that we were in good hands and and the staff took great care to assure that the meal was prepared safely. We'll be back for sure!!
