very good service, a waitress who knows how to understand her customers and a very commercial bistro, nothing to complain about

Big, clean and friendly. But there are fewer people and much less atmosphere than when Château d'Oex still had a ski resort. We were a group of 14 people and we were half of the clientele.

Very nice bar-restaurant. They prepare EXCELLENT burgers, with very good quality meat. The staff is very kind and attentive. They have a variety of beers form which to choose from. We will definitively repeat when we come back!

In a friendly atmosphere with relaxed music, we enjoy this place to eat around simple, homemade dishes.

We made a quick stop and had coffee and ice cream. Both were fine and the service was friendly. We were there at 2:30 p.m. and there was very little going on.

I had a nice summer night dinner. I ordered the entrecôte café de Paris. As always, I was asked about the desired doneness. That they didn't manage to serve it "saignant" is a given. I was surprised though that the herb butter was still frozen solid and not melting at all during the entire meal. The chocolate fondant (moelleux) for dessert was served on a flat bit of slate. So immediately after getting the spoon in there, it would run off over the side of the flat bit of stone. We want plates. Furthermore, the ice cream served with the moelleux was in a glass, so it was quite a bit of work to combine the flavours. Nice place, good atmosphere, nice mix of tourists and locals. The kitchen seems to be playing out of their league.

Excellent boss, nice card. But difficult to sit on the high chairs. Upon my remark, I was suggested to go to the Town Hall where I noticed that there were access stairs! ! Not an establishment for people with reduced mobility.

Very nice Resto-Bar in the heart of Château-d'Œx I been there few times with my girlfriend and they were always helpful and nice with the service. The drinks were served on the right temperature and the food is very good also, the food give you the sensation that is made at grandmas kitchen meaning always something really good, it’s made with dedication and the portions are generous also. Is located near to the train station and the prices are ok. If you are around the place you should go and visit it.

Very pleasant surprise, went there for a simple meal and ate well. The service was very quick, however that was more due to the fact that it was about to rain. Food was really good, all in all a great place for a quick yet nice meal.

There was way too nany people inside all young, so we bought drinks and sat outside. The bar tender was really fast and well irganized in doing the drinks. He deserves a crown 👑. Is not my place since I am a bit older, but sure great for a drink

First days of deconfinement, the Caribou Bar remains one of the rare catering solutions in the town center of Château d'Oex. The team is courteous and attentive. On the other hand, the menu is depressingly dull and lacking in originality. The team is in the mountains and serves us assembly cuisine, not even tasty, when we could have had local vegetables and meat. And the prices are exaggerated for precisely an assembly kitchen where everything must come from Knorr, Nestlé or Kraft. Everything is industrial. As for the coffee, it is more than ordinary. And the service was particularly slow even though friendly, courteous, smiling and attentive. What a pity. Otherwise the location is ideal with this large terrace. If the owner wanted to have the means, he could come up with a concept that would crush the competition. For a bit I would have gone to the frouzes to suggest it to Philippe Etchebest so that he wakes up. If ever the owner is interested, I know a company in Bulle that could act as a wake-up call!
