The coffee is expensive and above all not good at all! No ordering at the table! Well, staff not very welcoming!

Coffee was ok. Little bit on the weak side

I had reserved 2 large braids for a total group 2kg400. Unfortunately they were not there and I was instead provided with 4 small braids totaling 2kg for the same price as the two large ones. They managed to provide me with something for my group to have lunch, they were friendly and above all the braids were good.

Locally owned and everything perfection.

Excellent place for a hot chocolate in the afternoon. We came here after a cold hike, and they offered us their home-made chocolate, which was worth the try. Very good pastry. Very kind staff. Highly recommend!

Nice place, but the price of coffee is exaggerated, even though you have to order it and pay for it at the cash register. No orders at the table.

Good baking. Limited choice but you can eat sweet or savory. Tea room with several tables including a "veranda" area.

The ice creams are not cheap (8CHF for 2 scoops), but the portions are generous and they are simply excellent, real artisanal products! I highly recommend.

The worst place. I have been a customer of Earlybeck in Gstaad for 7 years. I invited my friend to meet at Chateau d’Oex location where I have been coming almost every morning for months. We were yelled by a staff for 10 minutes for “wrong facts.” It was truly a racial discrimination no one deserved. I asked the staff for her name and the contact information of the owner, but she refused to provide her name and the contact information. She called her supervisor, pre-explained a completely wrong story, handed me a phone and I told her I didn’t need to speak but I wanted to write to the owner to summarize what went wrong because it was important. She forced me to speak with the supervisor she pre-explained a completely wrong story. Very shockingly, the supervisor started yelling at me without letting me explain what happened. When I tried to speak, she said, don’t cut me when I speak to you and she didn’t let me talk. We left the cafe with very negative energy. Earlybeck needs to educate their staff and supervisor in Chateau d’Oex. It was the lowest-end experience and service. No customer should be treated the way they did and no one should feel racially discriminated by coming to a cafe to enjoy the time.

This was lovely. Staff helpful, coffee excellent, millefeuille truly superb - I think it had a touch of brandy in the cream layers. The ambience was perfect.

It's also a place with extremely high prices, and it can't stand out in any way. For a cold croissant and cappuccino 7f, bread about 10f, sandwiches cold and hard not even two bites! Our bakeries are worth their weight in gold, not to mention the restaurants! Unfortunately in Gstaad - you don't have much choice when it comes to fast food or restaurants.

Very good breads, cakes and rolls. Nice atmosphere to drink coffee and eat a cake, for example.

You can'y go wrong with the cakes or pastry in this place. And their artizanal pralines are delightful. Combine that with the nice views of the Swiss Alps and you will never want to leave.

My wife and I had a friendly service and a delicious cake while waiting on our train.

Had the most delicious bircher ever!!! Prices are a bit higher than what we are used to in Switzerland, but the quality is definitely up to it! We had some of the salty pastries as well and they were excellent. The casheer could speak many languages and was very keen in helping us!

Top place... the pastries and ice creams are killer (especially the "Pays d'Enhaut" cup with vanilla and caramel ice creams, caramel coulis, whipped cream and... tiny squares of soft caramels... it's to fall) ! I highly recommend stopping at this pretty terrace near Gstaad train station, on the edge of the pedestrian street crossing the village.
