The food is really good, top notch, and especially their pizzas. The make it very clear every time we go here that they prefer not to sell us pizzas, which creates a bit of an embarrassing situation, so we now go elsewhere for pizza, which is a shame. The place is absolutely charming and the hosts are the friendliest around. Prices a very reasonable too.

Small and pretty Italian restaurant with very fine food. I enjoyed a plate with three different homemade pastas with three different sauces... very tasty. The service was attentive, friendly and competent.

The bacon in the spaghetti carbonara was very greasy...it didn't taste really good, unfortunately...

The restaurant is also an insider tip among the locals. They still know the place as Poststubli. We recommend Pizza alla Nonna, Tiramisu della Mamma, among others. If you have dinner before going to the theater, say so when ordering at the restaurant. You will receive priority service.

Am letzten Abend vor der Einführung der Sperrstunde nochmals da Essen gewesen. Gut besucht, wohl auch weil viele Leute nochmals zu normalen Zeiten Nachtessen wollten. Das Essen war gut und die Portionen ausreichend. Das Ambiente passte auch. Gibt nichts grosses zu nörgeln.

Wie immer Top auch als Take Away zu empfehlen!

Mein Kollege und ich waren Geschäftlich unterwegs und gingen Abends essen. Waren zum ersten Mal dort. Das Essen war Geschmacklich sehr gelungen und der Kellner sehr freundlich. An Preis/Leistung ist wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Lo recomiendo, todo muy bueno y muy bien de precio, trato exquisito.

Für eine 1.5lt Flasche Citro von der Spar Billiglinie wo nicht mal 1Franken kostet!!! Hat der schöne Herr 13.50 verrechnet! Geht gar nicht! Zudem muss man bei der Rechnung immer kontrollieren Rechnen scheint da auch nicht gerade eine Stärke zu sein.

Seit fasst 10 Jahren leben wir nun in der Schweiz. Durch einen Zufall, haben wir eines Tages Stop bei Cinguecento gemacht. Jetzt ist es unser Stamm Italiener und das fasst vor unserer Haustür. Warum? Ganz einfach, hier kocht die Mama aus Kalabrien. Die Küche Kalabriens bietet einerseits viele Fischgerichte mit Fischen wie Thun- oder Schwertfisch, andererseits aber auch zahlreiche leckere Fleisch- und Pilzgerichte sowie weitere deftige Kost. Nicht zu vergessen die Salami. Pasta darf in Kalabrien natürlich ebenfalls nicht fehlen und kommt handgemacht bei Mimo (Inhaber) auf den Tisch. Ich hatte schon den Glauben verloren, solch eine wirklich authentische Küche in der Schweiz zu finden. Aber das Beste ist die Kombination aus Küche bei Mama mit den Inhabern die genau so authentisch und erfrischend wie die Küche sind. Grazie Mimo. Grazie mamma. Sei il più grande. Das Restaurant ist in der grösse geschätzt mit 50 Leuten gut gefüllt und grössere Gruppen sollten sich vorher anmelden. Aber es lohnt sich. Das kleinere Restaurant wird familiär im Service und in der Küche betrieben. Das Essen ist deshalb immer sehr schmackhaft und mit viel liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Hausgemachte Kost ist natürlich im Angebot und dementsprechend von sehr guter Qualität. Ich komme gern wieder :-)

Fantastisches Essen, familiengeführtes Lokal, welches mit vielen Fiat 500 und Teile davon eingerichtet ist. Sehr freundlicher Wirt und die Mamma mit Zauberhänden in der Küche. Ein Ort um sich wie in Italien wohl zu fühlen. Da komm ich wieder hin, solche Gastfreundschaft findet sich nur schwer wieder, danke.

I have already eaten a few times in Arth but, surprisingly, never noticed this restaurant. I wish I had discovered it earlier, as my dinner proved excellent. Nomen est omen - La Cinquecento is a tribute to the Fiat 500 and the dining room displays many memorabilia on this iconic car.A huge thumbs-up to the tenants - Teresa and Domenico - for the genuine Italian hospitality. Very friendly, helpful and attentive service. The menu features the usual Italian dishes, with focus on homemade pasta. As starter I had a delicious and generous antipasti plate - featuring arancini, cheese, olives, dried tomatoes and crude ham. As main course I chose the ‘’trofie alla puttanesca’’ - trofie pasta with olives, anchovies, capers, garlic. Once again a tasty and generous portion. Eventually I indulged myself with the daily dessert: a kind of lasagna with a light lemon cream and topped with strawberries. In high-price Switzerland the bill remained pleasantly moderate, amounting to CHF65. I have now listed La Cinquecento among my favorites!

Wird waren zu sechst in diesem Restaurant und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten die Vorspeiseplatte mit verschiedenen Speisen aus Kalabrien. Die Pizza‘s sind sehr lecker. Die Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut.

Real Italian Restaurant with delicious home made food... You can get what you ask.. Just few meters from public beach and walkway around the lake with very warm and of course crystal clear water.

Eig waren Sie mir sehr sympatisch und ich war dort schon immer Stammkunde. Aber dann änderete sich alles. Mir wurde zwei mal das Essen falsch serviert. Ich wurde von der Kellnerin angeschriehen vor den Gästen weil Sie mich nicht verstanden haben was für eine bestellung ich wollte, und in meinen Augen ist das ein schlechtes und respektloses Verhalten gegenüber mir. Ich konnte meinen Augen nicht trauen, plus habe ich für vier scheibe Mozarella 15.- bezahlt. Das Geld ist mir egal, ein solches Verhalten ist in meinen Augen ein No-Go. zum Glück kam eine andere Kellnerin und hatte die Situation unter Kontrolle.

Toller Service, tolles Essen. Hier wird das Pizzabrot noch selbst gebacken. Komme gerne wieder 😊

Tolles Essen, schöner Ort, wunderbare Besitzer. Wir hatten ein Kleinkind mit uns und sie haben uns ohne Probleme untergebracht. Familie söhnt Italienisch, Deutsch und ein wenig Englisch.
