Good service and food, coffee could be a little stronger. One thing that bothers you is the lighting at the tables for two... so direct and bright in your face that you can't relax and enjoy your coffee.

A highly motivated saleswoman served me; I haven't received such a friendly welcome in a bakery for a long time.

This time I simply wasn't served, even though the restaurant wasn't full. I sat there for 30 minutes and the service person took me and looked at me but always walked past me. Sometimes with empty hands. I am a loyal customer. I then sat outside and was served within a minute. Thanks and the staff outside!

I ordered a cappuccino 15 minutes ago. When two people we knew came along, we waited another 20 minutes for conditions. (My cappuccino still hasn't been brought). After waiting 25 minutes for my cappuccino, the waitress came in a “very good mood” and took my friend’s order. The order came after 3 minutes, EXCEPT my long-awaited cappuccino. It was forgotten :)

Bad cakes, disgustingly sweet. Coffee is served 20 minutes after the cakes. More expensive than Dolder but not the same quality and service. Result avoid Cafe Speck in the future.

5.00 Chf, For 1.5dl of not quite hot water and a very small jug of only lukewarm water... it was served with the tea bag in it. Then the cup looks completely full, but you just take it out and then you still need the little jug!!!!to fill up the cup. No, never more bacon, it's a shame the service was nice

As a regular customer, I ordered a piece of Black Forest today. Since I couldn't drink coffee (because of the caffeine) (as I usually do every time I visit), I ordered a glass of water with it. The employee came immediately and told me that she had to charge 3.00 for the water. Now they can eat the Black Forest themselves in the future. I ordered something and didn't just consume nothing. (A piece of Black Forest costs 6.50 .-)

A real enrichment for Zug... My current favorite dish "Hirsotto with mushroom ragout" is a tender caress for the palate... A poem that I can enjoy every day at the moment. Thanks also to the wonderful staff and hosts.

Central location. Cozy atmosphere in the back area. Ideal for getting together with coffee and cake.

If you enjoy initially being ignored and then stared at - this place is for you! Wow is it behind the times. Needs a good overhaul. Anywhere but this location.

The four of us drank coffee in the sleigh in front of the shop on the 23rd afternoon. 14 tables for four, 5 of which were occupied and served, 4 of which were dirty and not cleared. Waited 10 minutes until the older (highly motivated) waitress came. Was in a great mood. Waited another 15 minutes for drinks. Paid directly for security. Skilled workers are definitely in short supply. Don't go here anymore. Speck used to be the address in Zug... what a shame

Very nice location with a lof of sweets and cakes. I just noticed from the advetising that the Confiserie has the delicious "Zuger Kirschtorte". It would be recommended to show on the main counter the Cake too, because it is really delicious (if the customer does not see it, it will not buy it)

This restaurant was very busy on Saturdays. We were lucky, there was still a free table. The visitors were friendly, but we had to accept short waiting times due to the large number of people. I will come back, but not on a Saturday.

It can get busy on the weekends. I also don't like the fact that I need to pay for the at the counter, but need to order and pay for the coffee at the table. Despite that, I like the variety of pastries and chocolates.

Had to wait a long time outside for coffee on Saturday. I had the feeling that the serving daughter didn't have it under control at all. She also always ran around each other empty-handed. Sorry, I've heard that from other people too.

Nice service and nice things. The negative point is that there is smoking in the “outside area”.

They have great iced tea. E.g. hibiscus.

Lunch: Pasta Maison. Pasta in cream sauce with ham. It was ok, but I can do it myself at home. With a little more imagination you could do a lot more, for example small mushrooms, peas and bacon fried until crispy. Bacon would add a bit more flavor. Service quick and friendly👍

Super lovely staff, the best bacon ice cream, fine coffee with milk! The spacing of the tables is pleasant, clean, and invites you to linger! Keep it up! The Speckli are even in great demand in Hamburg and Berlin!

I drink A LOT of coffee, and have sampled countless from around Switzerland, and regrettably this was the most disappointing I have had. Not only was my espresso macchiato almost beige in colour (faaar too much milk), when the bill arrived for my weak, milky, tiny coffee, it was 5.40fr. This is possibly the most I have paid for this size of coffee outside of Dubai. The setting of the cafe was nice, and the cakes and food looked much better, but that isn't enough to make a regular patron out of a coffee drinker.

Expensive and quite unfriendly. They again raised the price of a cup of coffee without any justification. It is beyond me where the owners get their staff from - on average the worst I've experience anywhere inn town or in the Kanton.

Very tasty dishes such as focaccia, soups or patisserie. The staff is very helpful and friendly except for Ms. K. Always in a bad mood, unfriendly and simply tedious. At 6:30 p.m. she refuses to sell soup for take-away or to prepare focaccia at lunchtime. Snaps at other employees and creates a bad atmosphere. Very unfortunate.

A nice restaurant and even if the weather is bad, you can sit outside. Not far from shopping options either. It is very native with changing varieties. If you have the opportunity to visit again.

Today we spontaneously fled to this cafe during a thunderstorm. We were served very friendly and treated ourselves to homemade ice cream. This was super tasty - a bit expensive. That's just a train... the display of pastries was also appealing and made us happy. But for the sake of the figure we decided not to do it. Recommended

A nice cafe to stop by in Zug or if you’re shopping at the Mettali. They have great options for beverages, desserts and food. Their coffee and cake was one of the best I’ve had.

Coffee and food was good but the service was very poor. Unfriendly, the waitress threw a plate with food on the table while walking by. Took our order in an aggressive way. It was three o'clock and I think that the waitress was very tired. But still, this is no excuse. The place is newly decorated and it's clearly an improvement. Too bad that there is not enough seating. I guess that the place is doing well.

I sometimes go there when I'm in Zug to have coffee with friends.

I just can't understand why a house doesn't manage to offer a biscuit or small Schöggeli from its own bakery/confectionery with coffee or tea. That would be a friendly gesture that many cafés create and, so to speak, costs nothing. On the contrary, it can even encourage the guest to buy them in the store. Dear Mr. Speck, dear Café Speck team Congratulations on the successful renovation of the new café in Metalli. Just beautiful. Great atmosphere. However, the service was poor. On the one hand because of the extremely long waiting time (over 25 minutes for an order from 3 cafés) and on the other hand because of the service staff, who was anything but courteous and warm. I don't often go to Bacon, but when I do, I really enjoy my coffee and a buttered brazeli, which are super delicious. Unfortunately, it often happened that at 8:30 a.m. there wasn't a single buttery pretzel left to buy. Unfortunately, even if there aren't many guests, it often happens that I am steadfastly ignored by the service. Why? Because I'm not smart enough? A very nice service employee you have could set a good example for her colleagues. But overall I like going to the bacon, simply because the quality is right.

Quality is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. While we got up to greet someone, our glasses were cleaned up without asking if we were ready. I understand that you want to finish work on time, but the guests shouldn't feel it this way.

Very fine Zug cherry cakes as well as other pasteries. You definitely have to try the Zug cherry cake from Confiserie Speck. These are always very fresh and so fantastic. It definitely deserves five stars *****. The restaurant is cozy, the service is quick and extremely friendly. You have the choice to sit inside or outside. The food also deserves praise.
