Shameless owner and operator, shouts at customers in the cafe if he doesn't like something! Not possible, absolute impudence! Absolutely to be avoided, there are plenty of others nearby...

Service strange. I said to quarter something and she didn't understand. Then I said decently, cut twice. She was always nice. At the end I paid and gave her the payment terminal back so she doesn't have to stretch so much and then she tells me not to stress. Too expensive to hire people like that

I'm an absolute fan :-) - thank you all for the always friendly and attentive service, the little conversations "between the doors and the gate", the most beautiful Birchermüesli, the wonderful almond croissants, scones and grits, and definitely the best crepes Ricotta and spinach... and... and... and... anytime and always. #MERCIVÖUMOU

Great café with a super delicious patisserie 😍

I am an employee at Surchat and would like to give our guests 5 stars. We are a small café and things get crowded quickly. We do our best to provide a suitable table for each of our guests as quickly as possible, even without a reservation. Thank you for your patience and the many daily visitors to our beautiful café!

We made a reservation almost 10 minutes late but the table was already taken. Staff were very stressed and unpleasant on site and were then told that they didn't actually accept reservations. We could have been informed on the phone! City yes, we are happy to accept!!

Excellent coffee & bakery shop in the heart of the historic city of Sursee. A must is the Apfelstrudel with Vanilla-Sauce 😋

Never again. It used to be nice here and the service was friendly. But recently we bought dessert, including cream slices and Japonnais, because they usually have the best ones here. The nuts in the Japonnais were rancid and the cream in the cream slice I have no idea how old 🤢 not at all tasty and what's more, it wasn't cheap... I wrote it by email, which was answered, but now I don't receive any more and not even a refund !

Coffee is moderate, croissants are rather dry. That's why we have an omelette for breakfast! Service not very organized.

Among other things, the best homemade cream slices and almond croissants! A very friendly team - we are always happy to come.

An absolute recommendation. Child-friendly, delicious seasonal offerings and good value for money.

Great Bircher muesli topped with fruit! Fluffy, delicious scrambled eggs! Pattisserie super fresh and delicious. Chocolates super fine. Warm service! Recommended!

Very nice breakfast, good selection and nice service

We got lunch, coffee, and a cream cake. Everything tasted incredible. The patio is wheelchair accessible but inside the store which has the chocolate and pastry selection is not.

THE SURCHAT IS A PEARL IN THE CAFE DESERT OF CENTRAL SWITZERLAND! THE VERY VERY BEST BIRCHER MÜESLI… CANAPÉS ARE A DREAM!! A HUGE COMPLIMENT! ALSO TO THE LOVELY STAFF.

Today we spontaneously went to Surchat to have dessert. The ice cream and fruit salad were very tasty, fresh, seasonal. The woman from the service was extremely friendly and was very responsive to our “extra requests”. The homemade elderflower syrup was excellent, highly recommended! Only the furnishings are a bit outdated.

The ice cream cake we ordered and picked up was a poem. For me one of the best confectioneries in Switzerland. The quality is at least on the same level as Schober or Sprüngli in Zurich.

Bad customer service. We wanted to reserve a table. The boss said that this would be possible. When we arrived from Lucerne and no table was empty, we were put off so we left again.

Top patisserie (just has the right price), very cozy coffee house atmosphere (tel. small) and sensationally friendly staff!
