COR Wine & Pintxos in Zürich

An excellent, uncomplicated and cozy wine bar that bridges the gap between a classic wine selection and modern (vegan) food. A great alternative for all those who are somewhat critical of the natural wine trend. Very well done!

Had an awesome time at COR Restaurant! The menu is packed with creative plant-based dishes that are absolutely delish. Their Smokey dates and Catalan bread are a must-try. I also dove into the "Bolets farcits amb pesto" and the "Ensaladilla" – both were very tasty. Wrapped it all up with the Marshmallow Maple Cheesecake, which I really enjoyed. It's a lovely spot for anyone looking to enjoy great vegan food & wine in a chill vibe. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, giving us detailed information on their great wine selection. Definitely going back!

Im Spanish, and just been there today with a Spanish friend. We both agree the place is a joke. Nothing to do with Spanish food or culture. To start with... is called "pintxos", that is a Vasque kind of food, when the place claims to be Catalonian, and they have not a single pintxo in the bar.... Really weird and made maybe for non.spanish people Cherry on the cake, as soon as we sat, we got a bottle of tap water and the waiter served us. "Nice", we thought, but well....we paid later 3chf for it. Note: we didnt even ask for it. Long story short, 28chf for 2 beers, glorious tab water, and questionable chips (from a bag, not fried on site as the waiter told us they have no kitchen) with kind of bbq sauce. A story to not repeat....

If you're willing to pay 17.50 for a 1dl of wine, this is probably the right place for you. For everyone else... it's better to go to a rustic and cozy neighborhood pub with affordable prices. The wine was ok, but never worth the price. I was recommended the wine by the waitress without the price being stated. There was no map either. Typically Zurich. A pity!

We wanted to try Cor for some time and unfortunately it was really disappointing :( the food was just bad. You shouldn’t call your experiments truita or croqueta. There are hundreds of amazing vegan dishes in catalanya and spain. Why don’t you try them out? The place is pretty nive though

Cozy atmosphere (but uncomfortable wooden chair), fantastic wine list (by the glass and bottle), I was impressed by their selection. Really good wines with high reviews by critics. Food was decent but not something special. We had the croquets (so and so), the olives, and the cheesecake with marshmallows and maple syrup (not at all my cup of tea), and the caramel dessert (okayish). 2 stars for the waiter because he charged me for the full glass, although he had notified me that he only had half a glass (he didn't give me a heads up that I would pay for a full glass). Not cool to treat customers like that. Overall the 55 CHF that I paid for 2 glasses of wine and a little bite was not at all value for money. I'd say that COR owes me a drink, but unfortunately you won't see me again...

I really liked the good vegan tapas, especially the potato chips and the caramel flan. Friendly service.

I love wine and tapas/pintxos and then everything vegan - just awesome. Delicious. Service very friendly. The wine and the stories that go with it make it a great experience

The Spanish omelet with alioli tasted more like onion cake with mayo. It's a shame, because the price left us hoping for more.

We had a great dinner at ‚COR‘! The restaurant offers a wide variety of different pinxtos (small bites) which are all plant based. We have chosen a mix of the whole menu and were not disappointed: the food was very delicious and freshly made! The restaurant itself is a beautiful location. You have to go if you like Pintxos and Wine!

It's cool that there are more and more plant based alternatives. Although it is not the best plant based address in Zurich, it is worth a visit. The caramel flan in particular is a revelation! Also very friendly and competent service.

Pont based Spanish cuisine. Excellent food and nice setting! Friendly service. The concept is more of a wine place where you can have small tapas. The tapas are really great and tasteful. I recommend especially - mushroom toast - pan con tomates - croquets And all the desserts we had were amazing (torija!, strawberry cake and flan). The plates are a bit small, but again very tasty.

Been to the opening yesterday and felt immediately like in Spain. Passionated wine list, delicious snacks and down to earth staff. You have to wait for everything you get even for the table! But it’s worth the wait to enjoy their whole offer in a brisk environment.
