The absolute best cafe latte I have ever had. Full stop. With the Brazilian, not the Ethiopian. Ethiopian is good, but Brazilian is the best. The banana and apple breads I tried were good (banana a bit dry, apple: perfectly moist). But did I mention the excellent latte? Staff is also pleasant and more than willing to engage with this American who left his French at home.

I highly recommend. The coffee and food are delicious. Brunch here is a great idea. In addition, they are aimed at celiacs! We received exceptional service; special thanks to Carlina for her excellent service!

The flat white with ethiopian espresso was next level. Lovely texture, and the dark chocolate notes from the espresso really came through.

Fantastic oat milk latte (and my partner said the iced matcha was perfect as well), and wonderful vibes. This is definitely a great place to catch up with a friend over a baked good or cake, grab your daily coffee, or bring a book or laptop to get some work done. The music was the perfect volume and energy, the decor was lovely, and the owner was exceedingly friendly and kind! We always prefer to visit local, small business coffee shops, so getting to meet the owner is always very special! We loved their commitment to sustainability and community, and will definitely be checking out their other branch!

Great little neighborhood cafe to work in or to stop by when it's raining too much. The atmosphere is very chill, the waitresses are adorable and give good advice. The Hazelnut Latte and the “Lemon Honey Cinnamon” are excellent ;)

I love this place, they do good food and great coffee and the staff are always friendly. Plus my daughter loves it too.

Second time I go there, the first time I go to the bathroom and the French waitress gives me the espresso coffee still half way...today she continued to clean the windows with the customers and open the doors and windows with 8 officers outside🤦🏻‍♂️ Conclusion the French waitress or native French speaker must change the job because customer service is not at all her strong point, the other English waitress was more cordial

The cashier caused a scene asking me to please speak English as I was having trouble asking if the cake was vegan before ordering it. Then she made a second scene because I only had a large bill on me and refused to accept cash. I offered to leave at that point because I was quite embarrassed but ended up staying as she ended up accepting cash.

A cosy Café, very close to the city centre but intimate where you can enjoy your coffee and taste self made specialties 😋most of them are vegan 🌱 We got the financiers salés and they were just amazing!! If you ask, they might even show you where they roast their coffee!!

Exceptional. Love the coffee here! Service is fantastic, food delicious, takeaway and sit-in available. Oat milk, etc available. They have a really interesting selection of different coffee based drinks, too - liqueur coffees, cocktails - highly recommend the mint mocha (sincere apologies to any Italians in the room).. Lots of people working so I guess they have WiFi too.. definitely worth the praise on maps, will be back soon!

So bad service I never had such bad service in Geneva, it is the third time that happened to me. I won’t come back neither recommend to my friends anymore. It use to be my favorite coffee spot but the owner is lovely

I went to Corde with very high expectations and it did not disappoint at all. The coffee is delicious (real, speciality coffee) and the mocha cake I had was exactly as I had imagined. My partner got the chai and was very impressed (very good option for non-coffee drinkers), and loved the vanilla-lemon cake which is also beautifully presented. The person who took our orders, whom I believe is the owner, was super nice and friendly. Had no problem speaking to us in English and French. So happy to have found a coffee jewel in the Rive droit!

I will only enter this establishment when I see a person capable of welcoming me kindly and without stressing me as soon as I return. Above all, announce a closing within 3 minutes while the 2nd waitress announces 15 minutes to the people right after me! No choice but to take my meager pittance. The apotheosis is discovering the size of my piece of pie!!!! I usually take it and this is just a clear way to scam you! I loved this place despite some disappointments. Given the staff turnover, I didn't care about it. However, what happened this afternoon put an end to my kindness.

Smile-free environment, which is probably all it takes for locals. They don't know what Assam tea is, but the Earl Gray was fine. Not that they would have asked whether I wanted anything in it, but I got the cold milk without delay - or any words, of course - but with a glass of tap water, thus upgrade to 4* 😂

A flat white gives as much as a latte macchiato! The coffee tastes good. Well balanced taste! I like the moderate acidity and sweetness!

Nice place to have a morning coffee. They have very good coffee which they will let you know where is its origin on a small board. Americano is quite fresh to me. The summer menu served with ice is quite catchy and would definitely the highlight in summer time.

Adorable coffee shop with great service!!If is also one of the only ones open on Sundays and allows laptops, which is great to work while enjoying delicious coffee. Their financier is also extremely good! I ordered the latte with oat milk twice and I was never disappointed.

Super nice coffee place. Impeccable service, everything is good quality (coffee was very good) and homemade. I found it too expensive though, I know it’s Geneva and everything homemade is expensive but 3 hot drinks with 1 savory financier + 2 pieces of cake, 33 Swiss francs, it’s insane. The small savory financier is 4 Swiss francs it’s way too expensive. What a shame if it was cheaper I would go more often. I have also been told it’s a nice place to do some work although the music can be too loud. I still recommend to give it a try because I loved the concept.

Superb specialty coffee shop with amazing cocktails! The Ethiopian coffee and Kentucky Tea Cocktail are world class; my current favorites, and definitely each worth the trip. The breads, and cakes are melt in your mouth delicious. You would never expect them to be vegan. On the savory side, the quiches with perfectly dressed salad deserve mention along with a special shout out for the Naan Sweet potato veggie wrap! Excellent staff and service. Do yourself a favor and delight your palette at Corde Coffee in either of their two locations: Coutance or Eaux Vives.

I loved the specialty coffee (Costa Rica). The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is calm, I would return without thinking about it!

Corde coffee was nothing short of exceptional. The “Chocolate Paradise” cake was absolutely stunning, with a light frosting and an decadent sponge. The slice was very generous too for only 6 Swiss francs, so it was fantastic value for the quality. The mint tea was incredibly fresh and went perfectly with the cake. The waiter also brought us some water with our cake, which was a lovely touch and helped cleanse the palette. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are so kind and welcoming. I have absolutely zero hesitation when it comes to recommending Corde Coffee. You will have an incredible experience!

One of the best if not the best places for coffee in Geneva! The coffee is always freshly roasted and they do excellent cappuccinos. They also have coffees with interesting flavours (spices, honey) which I love too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming too!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming little coffee shop, From the moment I walked in, I knew what i was looking at: -the best café in town! The interior of the shop was warm and inviting, with plenty of cozy seating options to choose from. There is a diverse range of goods available. Especially unique coffees sourced from different parts of the world. The latte I opted was delicious - the espresso was rich and full-bodied, and the steamed milk was nicely frothed, I also appreciated the latte art on top, a little heart. In addition to coffee, the shop also offered a selection of baked goods, salads, and other snacks... The cakes are out of this world! Overall, I had a great experience at this coffee shop. what more can you ask for? so do yourselves a favor and check this place out!

Corde coffee is my favourite coffee shop in Geneva. The original one in Eaux-Vives and now a second, bigger and more specious location in Coutances. Not to be missed if you are out and about in town and in need of a caffeine fix, or if you want to buy specialty roasted coffee beans for your use at home.
