Magnificent restaurant! The welcome, the service, the dishes, the presentation, the atmosphere, a splendid evening, I had a very pleasant time at La Croix Verte. The Étoile pizza, I loved it! Thank you for the service it was excellent, your team is very welcoming and friendly! I'll be back!

Even after its renovation, this restaurant has retained its charm and the team always gives satisfaction. Alone or in a group you will find your happiness there.

We went without a reservation and they went to the trouble of getting us a table, we were going for the Fondue but unfortunately they only serve it in the cabin, I would recommend serving it throughout the restaurant, the pizza was spectacular, one of the best pizzas I have ever tried, and the Very friendly pizza man, the onion soup did not surprise me, it was more of a cream, overall good.

Honestly the pizza was amazing, the onion soup very basic. Good attention.

I went to "Le Chalet" for a Fondue. It's a nice place built on the garden of the restaurant and it makes one feel that he is in the mountains. Service is efficient and the Fondue is quite nice.

We have just eaten a saddle of venison and chestnut cream with foie gras. It was famous. The restaurant was crowded, but the servers were super efficient. It is one of the best restaurants in the region.

Family restaurant in the center of Nyon with impeccable hospitality! Wood-fired pizzas in the center of Nyon where you can eat quickly. The quality of the products and the cuisine is excellent for pizza and pasta. The choice of pizza, risotto and pasta is very varied but not only that. Small tapas-style starters, salad, meat, fish and seafood are represented according to the seasons. Everyone will find something there. The service is excellent, whatever the day or time. The wine list is quite minimalist but includes good, small local and Italian references. Special mention to the hunter pizza in autumn which is a real killer 😍. (and not full of truffle oil)

I was at the chalet with a friend to eat the fondue, a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, very reminiscent of the mountains, the lady and the cook are very friendly and smiling, and I can say that it was the best fondue of my life . Thank you green cross, I'll be back soon.

I am revisiting this restaurant for the first time in 10 years, I grew up here and this was my families go to restaurant and my mother is an award winning chef. This was the only place she would take us that she didn’t cook in. Since I was a little I developed a severe allergy to dairy and I misread a menu item and when it came to me I realised I had ordered something with cheese. Three servers came to my rescue and immediately made sure I was okay and they provided me an alternative option. Naturally I feel bad that I put us in situation, but they have been so sweet and accommodating. Honestly, I see why my mother was so set on exclusively coming here. If you pass through Nyon, do not miss a meal here. It’s genuinely the best place on earth. Merci! Grazie! Danke! Thank you!

Too bad, until recently we had a lot of fun eating there. But our last experiences really weren't great: - cold lasagna; - plastic in the tiramisù (despite having reported it to the waiter, no commercial gesture...) - food poisoning the night that followed... Really a shame because this place was very popular, but we will not return there.

I asked a calzone, the dough and the filling were amazing. As a dessert, I had a delicious Panna cotta and I tried my friend's tiramissu. Wow!!! Next time, I'll have tiramissu!!

The wait is super long. We have barely finished eating when people come to take the plates away from us. To finish the surprise of the prices of the supplements on the pizzas.

The pizza is good....however CHF 33.00 for 5 dl of open rosé wine from Provence it's not pretty. A small tip of CHF 4.80 = Paid CHF 90.00 for 2 pizzas 😵‍💫

Great brunch menu. Nice food and great service

When we went there, the place was full and several big groups were there. The waitress guided us well which dishes would probably take longer due to the orders of the groups, which was helpful. Overall the staff was friendly, but not special. Ambience was traditional, mixed with some Mediterranean... a bit undefined. Food was mixed. My dish, escalope viennoise was mediocre, rather fatty and not comparable with the real "Wiener Schnitzel". The dishes of my compagnon, chicken, was good. Deserts were OK. So, all in all, a solid experience but certainly not the first option that I would pick in the future.

Meal good. But unfortunately the waiter ruined this family moment a little. Very dubious humor, it is permissible to make comments to me, because he informs me that I would take a 90gr carpaccio because I had a bypass operation. It's okay to tell myself that I shouldn't have had the operation but should eat better and go to the swimming pool 3x/week etc...

The dishes are good and well presented, the pizzas are good and the dough is excellent, the only downside is the waiter who got involved a little too much in what was not his business and he made jokes that were not funny at all, it was annoying.

Mother's Day 2023 we arrive at 7. We are seated on the terrace, we ordered 2 starters, 6 pizzas, and a steak and fries. Starters served quite quickly, pizzas 45 minutes later and the steak was probably forgotten, we had to ask for it twice. And when he arrived, a steak one centimeter thick, cooked quickly, some fries and the menu included a salad that we have never seen!!! And all this for 35frs for a steak and a few fries and no salads. The pizzas should have been cooked a little more to have a certain crunch. I'm 50 years old, I was born in Nyon and I've been going there forever, and twice in a row disappointed. The staff is very friendly, nothing to say I think the problem is elsewhere. And what’s more, that day was the first time I saw so few people. So I can't even conclude that they were overbooked.

For years, I have been going to this restaurant with my family. Today I felt really disappointed. I ordered the beef fillet 200g 44CHF with rice 5CHF, of course the price is expensive but I was aware of it. Unfortunately the fillet I received had large chunks of fat in the meat, which can happen, but at 44CHF we would like this to be recognized as being a product not up to the usual standard. I pointed this out to the waiter and he saw the large pieces of fat on my plate, at least 1/5 of the meat served. He tells me that he will see with the cook what he can do. He shows the plate to his colleague, who simply shrugs her shoulders, and we received the bill in silence without any reduction, free coffee or anything else. And no more words from the server about the meat or the satisfaction of the dish. In short, excellent restaurant for pizza but the day something is not up to par, despite the price you pay, you will not be offered a "sorry".

Not delighted with the experience, the dishes were OK but nothing more. No reason to travel miles for that. Ditto for the service, a little speedy but not in the wine sense, not at the level of the new that the restaurant wants to give itself.

Looking for a good Italian restaurant after obtaining my Italian nationality, I was not disappointed! As a starter spaghetti with seafood, excellent, perfectly cooked! Magnificent wood-fired pizzas, with one of (the) best doughs I have eaten. Very pleasant atmosphere with staff speaking Italian in the background, exactly what I was looking for today. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I recommend !

Without a doubt THE best pizzeria in Nyon. The welcome is excellent, the food very good and very fresh. From classic pizzas to the “beautiful star salmon” pizza that I recommend. The staff is very pleasant and attentive, the manager very kind, always smiling, in a good mood and always takes a few seconds to chat even if his establishment is full. A place where we enjoy coming and coming back! THANKS !

A sure value. A quality that endures over time, which is truly rare in the restaurant industry these days. The dishes are very well prepared and mastered despite the quantity of cutlery sent every day. The price is significant, but paying when you have really eaten well is more than normal. A pleasure every time. I recommend.

There were three of us at the table, two "cold" plates and one hot... The waiter who allows more than limited "reflections"!! It could have been a good time, unfortunately we were very disappointed
