A small place, it's more for being served at the bar than really for sitting down. On the other hand, their cocktails are incredible and the service is very attentive and friendly. I especially recommend their Pisco sour which is as good as in Latin America.

We were refused service as a group simply because we were a group. We wanted to enjoy the delicious cocktails at the Taube for a family celebration. Since I already knew the bar and was enthusiastic, I wanted to make everyone happy. It was just after 5:00 p.m. and we would have gone straight on because we had made reservations for dinner at 6:00 p.m. Unfortunately we were able to forget about this because the bartender refused us service. Reason: because there were more than 6 of us (we were 9) and no groups were wanted due to space constraints (pre-registration wouldn't have changed anything since it was the weekend). There were 6 other guests present at the time. We offered that we could form two groups and sit at different tables, but this was rejected on principle because we still know each other and this would be against the rules. We moved on and were given a warm welcome and excellent service at another bar. I would really like to recommend the bar as it is actually extremely great. BUT because of the illogical regulations and extremely narrow-mindedness of the bartenders, I can say: I don't have to put myself through this anymore. There are enough good alternatives. Very unfortunate.

A super cozy place to drink whatever you want! The drinks and drinks menu is very complete! We just missed some snacks, it's just for drinks.

The bar has very good drinks. However, the service and the good attitude from the bar manager and owner leave a lot to be desired. Disrespect at its finest towards another female guest dominated my visit to the Traube. Unfounded insults and invasions of privacy definitely do not belong in a service business. There is still a lot of potential for improvement. Personal triggers don't belong in the workplace - it's a "NO GO" to take them out on customers.

It used to be a good bar with good drinks. Unfortunately not so good anymore. Premixed cocktails. But always perfect for a beer.

I like to spend the evening here, especially in autumn/winter. Always competent bartenders and the selection of drinks and spirits leaves nothing to be desired. Insider tip: ask the staff for a Frangelico Sauer, as this isn't on the menu, but it's one of my absolute favorites at Taube!

The best cocktail bar in Bern in my opinion... for many reasons. On the menu you will mainly find their signatures, which are really very good, of course with lots of homemade ingredients, and they also pay great attention to seasonal products. Even if the classics aren't on the menu, they'll be happy to mix them up for you. Their knowledge of classic cocktails seems limitless... They also have a lot of regional and Swiss products, instead of just the big brands (which they also have, of course). I think sustainability is also very important to you - there are no plastic straws and you try to minimize food waste, for example with garnish, which I personally think is great. Good music, a cozy atmosphere and friendly bartenders top it all off. Clearly always worth a visit.

Were in Bern for further vocational training. After dinner we wanted to go to the Taube for a drink. There were nine of us and there was enough space. We were told they don't accept large groups. They only let six people in; we would have had to send three elsewhere. Completely incomprehensible - what a shame!

Really nice staff, they know about their classics, well-made drinks and nice suggestions (don't hesitate to ask the staff!). Not the place for Vodka-RedBull, but real drinks.

Must visit bar in Bern! We absolutely loved all the cocktails. They really know how to mix interesting cocktails that’s very tasty. The cocktails were well balanced and not too sweet. I would recommend the bar man’s choice. They mix you a cocktail not on the menu based on things you like.

A charming old school pub. Quite crowded in many cases but people are in a good mood. Big plus for the beer selection: Apparently the guys there have all the Felsenaubieres on tap.

Absolutely one of the best bars in Bern to treat yourself to a refreshing drink after work until late. The restaurant is clearly and stylishly furnished. The bartenders are attentive and friendly, know a large repertoire of classic drinks and are happy to make recommendations based on taste preferences. There are also often new and experimental drinks on the drinks menu. The price is on the higher end, but it's definitely worth it. In summer you can also sit outside in the alley.

Very tasty cocktails. Bartender was very competent and friendly and gave us very good advice. Whiskey sour is also available with aquafaba instead of chicken egg whites, I was surprised at how great the foam turned out.

I’ve gone in here twice only to be rudely & haphazardly served. Too bad since I live in the neighborhood and could be a good customer. Abflug Bar serves much better cocktails & with a better welcome.

Okay, so probably one of the best of not the best bar in Bern. Amazing Atmosphere, lovely staff, a real feel good place. But on quite a pricey side for the cocktails. But a loveky place to visit nonetheless.

Only house creations are served for cocktails - but they have something special! High-quality whiskeys and sometimes extravagant glass decorations have their place here. The bartenders mix the drinks with passion. The prices are normal in Bern (16 to 18 Fr per cocktail). It's logical that the store is usually full on weekends. You have to be lucky if you want to sit. For me it's the top address in Bern for cocktail lovers

The Best cocktails in Bern and in the Old Town of Bern. The location is great, you will experience the old-town nightlife. The design is awesome! The team and staff are wonderful and exceptional. If you want to discover an original, refined and tasty cocktail, this is the place to go to. You will not be disappointed.
