It's recommended if you're looking for good food and something uncomplicated. 🍴 I ordered kottu rotti as I love it and also don't know many other srilankan dishes. The taste was very good and the portion was decent but I would have liked it a bit bigger.

I visited this place based on Google searches and looking for cheap eats in Zurich. This restaurant is by no means cheap with biryani at 23 Swiss Francs. And drinks were an additional 5 francs. The food was good but to think I paid so much for it is not very palatable. The lady owner was very hospitable and welcoming.

Very tasty food. Prices rather high; but that's okay somehow. However, hygienically it doesn't look so good. Stray hairs in the dish, unpleasant-smelling drinking glasses and leftover food on the cutlery.

There are only two places where I truly enjoy Indian food; one place being "Bombay Grill" in Verdun (Montreal, Quebec, Canada), and this little diamond in the rough here in Zurich. Super delicious, super affordable (I daresay "cheap"), and super friendly. Although, if you're not fond of spicy dishes, make it a point to express this clearly to the server. Those with whom I've dined here, and who love Indian food, insist that it's not all that spicy, but I'm admittedly a spice-wimp, so there ya go! All in all, it's great food, great service, great prices. An excellent option for vegetarians.

We reached Zurich on a cold afternoon and was looking for a cozy, hot meal as we were famished. We happened to find this place near our hotel which was just a short bus ride away. It’s a small place, run by two very sweet Sri Lankan women. They greeted us warmly and served us some delicious food. We ordered idiyappam with chicken curry and chicken kotthu roti. It was absolutely mouthwatering! I personally am not a fan of kotthu roti but this has made me change my mind. We’re South Indians and the food hit close to home. Always a pleasure to see countries united by similar tastes! We also ordered masala chai which was strong just the way we like! Full stars for this lovely place! A definite recommend for those who love spicy food or wanting to try South Asian cuisine.

I had mixed feelings. First I should say that I don’t have a baseline specifically for Sri Lankan food. Although I do for Malaysian, Indian, and other ares of south east Asia. I got Roti and curry with chicken. Good: the vegetables were delicious and had great flavor! The price was really good and you got a good amount of food. The staff was very nice and friendly. Not so good: I found the roti to be really dense, especially as it cooled down, it was overly doughy and heavy. I am used to roti prata which is light and buttery. The curry was a little bit too sweet for me. I like bold strong flavors and was hoping for a more robust curry. Overall it was good and if you are looking for a filling, well priced, fast meal- this isn’t a bad choice

We started craving for indian food during our tour so we decided to eat here. The owner welcomed us with a warm smile and helped us out with the food, so we ate our dinner here for 3 days. For any main dish you order, you will be provided with atleast 3 curries. The taste of all the dishes were very good and the price is reasonable too.

This restaurant is 10 mins away from Zurich HB station and provides exceptional veg food with authentic south indian taste. I stayed here in swiss for 3 days and came back here all the days for dinner after my first time. The owner of the restaurant is very polite and was welcoming with a smile. The food had the right amount of spices and the taste was very close to what i get back in my home. Kothu roti was exceptional and the idiyappam was very soft and smooth to consume. Takeaways are cheaper here but even for the dine-in, the shop is really worth it. If you are around this area looking for south indian food, i highly reccomend this place. Fantastic taste and a very friendly owner!

This is a Sri Lankan restaurant and I had visited with some of my friends. We had Dosas and other stuff. Taste wise, it's fine - nothing to complain about. I found it a bit costly considering the space inside and locality of the restaurant compared to other eating joints around the lake and some of the happening places.

Food was really good. We drove extra far to take a few menus with us and we know the food ourselves. Full recommendation and great price.

Nice Srilankan, south Indian dishes

We were quite surprised and definitely lucky to have spotted this place. Their Dosai with Lamb curry which was also served with Brinjal (Aubergine) curry and Dal (yellow Lentil) reminded me of my of food from back home in Bangalore, India. This is the first time I had Dosa that was so close to the actual South Indian dish in the last 2 years of moving to Germany. The couple who run the place were also quite humble and friendly. Definitely recommend this places for people looking out for authentic South Indian / Srilankan cuisine in Zürich. Pricing is also not too high when compared to other restaurants.

Good food,cute place,beautiful deco. But customer service w def a let down. Came here with my mom and waited for a bit before they even took our order. The lady who took our order didnt even bother to take our complete order before walking away to greet her regular customers i guess, who sat few tables away from us,n was laughing n chatting away with them. Had to stop her halfway and asked her to take our complete order. After a while we asked for a glass of water, and she gave us a look and said ‘a glass of water?’ paused for a bit before giving out a sarcastic smile while looking at the people who sat at the table next to us. Why tho?? We def felt offended n bad over this experience during our short stay in Zurich.

Fair in flavour, cheap in price but definitely not worth most of the reviews that read when I decided to try it! We masala dosai which the pancake was super good and crispy but the small side dishes weren't super tasteful and a little bit neutral in taste. We also had puttukottu with scrimps which was not very tasteful and I found it with lack of tense and taste. Maybe it was a bad day for the chef, but we reconsider to give it another try.

The food was warmed up, you could tell that the food was e.g. the samosas were too hard and the filling was too hot. The food came very quickly but it is also a sign that they don't make the food themselves or that it was from the day before. The food was rather inconsequential and nothing special. That's why I don't recommend this meal.

I'm in love with Don't Worry, Eat Curry. Probably my favorite restaurant, period. Extremely accommodating people who run this restaurant and the food is second to none. This is a very exceptional restaurant. Thank you for always treating me and my family with kindness and making such delicious food!

Nothing is freshly prepared. Food was served cold, everything on the plate was cold. That means they keep it in the fridge and don't cook it fresh as they claim. The food was heated in the microwave. It didn't taste good either and it didn't look good at all. I later became very nauseous and had to vomit. To each their own but I wouldn't recommend it

So happy to have found this little Sri Lankan restaurant a stone's throw from our hotel. It offers what I love and that I can't find in the south of France: dosa or south Indian pancakes made from rice and lentils... Delicious in a masala version (potatoes with spices) served with coconut sambar, sambar, dal and eggplant. We chose the option with additional meat (chicken or lamb). A very hearty dish full of flavors! Superb find for a very economical price in Switzerland (less than 20CHF with drink). If only I could go back...

We have been here many times beacuse of the great services ..the cook definitely knows how to serve the customer and handle kitchen work at the same time . This is one reason we come here very often to enjoy light evening meal Masala Dosai . Today was the special case , there is this lady at the counter who doesn't even know how the food is being served ..her behaviour towards us was very rude from the moment we placed our order and she doesn't even know how to speak with customer ..very unfreindly gesture . All we asked was just some extra chutney instead of vegi .😡 she made it so big deal out of it . When asked her about the manager or the owner , she said my sister is the owner and you can talk to her when ever you want to. She even laughed on face when complained her about how she treated us. The worse experience ever.
