Fabi Imbiss - Dein Döner in Winti in Winterthur

I've been going to Fabi Imbiss Hollen regularly for a few months now and have never been disappointed. On the contrary, the team is always friendly and you immediately have a good feeling when you come into the store! The kebab is always a 10/10! Always satisfied!

Unfortunately I can't rate how it tastes. On the door and on Google it says open every day until 11 p.m. but the doors were closed without any further information. Quite frustrating when you're at KSW and walk there hungry for an extra 15 minutes because it's supposedly a kebab shop that's open.

Ended up in the restaurant by chance, it just smelled too good... Lahmacun is highly recommended - homemade bread, the typical sauce on the Lahmacun was exceptionally good! The meat was well cooked, sometimes slightly crispy; the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Luckily, the homemade tiramisu was ready at the same time as my order. All I can say here is: delicious! I found the price-performance ratio to be fantastic - even compared to other local restaurants. Unreserved recommendation from me. Thanks to the team for a particularly delicious dinner and the great service!

Doner kebab went cold straight away

The person behind the counter was 😠 grumpy and gave me the feeling like : Hurry up. I have other things to do instead of serving you. The dönner also was poorly made: Instead of mixing vegetables with meat, he first dumped all vegetables in the bottom and put the meat on top. Not so sure why this gentleman is in the business.

Inconspicuous, small but VERY fine snack! You can't order anything wrong, one dish is better than the other. Pizza one of the best in Winterthur! The staff is always very friendly and accommodating!

Very good kebab. Fabi bakes his own bread, which he is famous for. I had a Dürüm and it was scrumptious. Very well balanced with fresh and crunchy vegies and salad, a good helping of kebab meat along with his own take on the typical sauces you have come to expect in an Imbiss. Two thumbs up! If you are close to the train station in Winterthur and feel like a Döner Kebab or Döner Box this is the address! Before opening this Imbiss he worked as a pizzaiolo in an Italian pizzeria for 10 years. Their award winning pizzas are absolutely awesome. Give them a try and you won't want to get pizza anywhere else in Winterthur.

sauce-wise 5🌟, service friendly & accommodating, meat proportion perfect, (to be honest:) exceeded! Be careful with the spiciness and be on the safe side. Sprinkle seasoning would be kindly requested as a side dish next time. all in all: 4.8!

Since a small team works there, the pizzas are always of the same good quality. One of the sellers (see picture) was a baker for 20 years and brought his craft to the kebab shop. The home-baked bread directly in the store further increases the kebab taste. The prices correspond to the norm. The small kitchen counter looked clean and tidy.

Doner kebab is delicious, but I can confirm previous reviews: everything is done very quickly and rushed, you hardly have time to say what you want in the kebab, it's already in there. Keeping things warm in the oven isn't that great either, just like touching everything with your hand, including money when paying. Hygiene could clearly be improved... The taste of the kebab is good, nothing to complain about.

Really a very good kebab!!! Bread is homemade! Very fresh and crunchy. The meat is also great and the sauces (yoghurt, cocktail, especially the homemade hot sauce is recommended) This is how I imagine a perfect kebab!!! We recommend!!!
