Great location. Food & coffee not to my liking.

Beautiful space. Very calming. Had a chestnut cake and it was moist and delicious. Coffee drinks were very good as well. Had a lovely visit. Fast service.

The staff member was very unfriendly. I believe they intentionally short changed me thinking I wouldn’t realise because I was English. The coffee was also one of the worst we had in Switzerland despite being one of the most expensive. The setting itself is ok but best to avoid places where they rip off tourists.

You're just always standing in line there. And the staff then think it's more important to clean something up. The coffee is good, but I would never go there if you're in a hurry.

Bitter disappointment: The avocado pita tasted old and rotten. At least I got the money refunded. Instead of the pita I wanted a vegetable cake. I received this for free, but I had to ask for it after half an hour and they had completely forgotten about it (just like the pita before it). The new, uncharred vegetable cake tasted terrible - far dry. During my stay the employees argued with each other. The music was pretty good. Unfortunately, Finkmüller is not particularly suitable for studying or reading. If you're hungry, you should eat somewhere else first...

Great vibe, coffee is on point and service is mostly very good. One of my favourite coffee shops in Basel. Definitely recommend! (I had to take back a piece of cake today as it tasted stale and the lady behind the counter was defensive and unapologetic - I am willing to overlook as an off day!)
