Actually it's a little embarrassing, for 25.5 CHF you get "fish soup with fish", when I later ordered takeaway, I heard other people complaining: "It stinks."🙈🙈🙈It's best not to eat it in public!

The “boss” was rudeness personified. Really grumpy & frustrated. Just because I was very hungry, I ordered something there. I wouldn't invest my money there a second time. Anyone who runs a business like this doesn't have to wonder why people don't want to go there anymore :-)

I saw lobsters being kept alive in a small space, all alone. That's what I call animal torture. Why 2 stars? At least they do it publicly and not hidden somewhere in the kitchen. You shouldn't sell lobster.

Ordered the fish soup with pulpo and it was delicious. It was very rich in flavour - basically blended fish inside a broth. Not creamy at all which I was worried about. Excellent pulpo texture. Highly recommend. The pasta everyone else ordered looked amazing as well.

Suprise find. Walking thru the market Halle fresh fresh fish. Everything is made from scratch upon your order. We had fresh flounder with vegetables and risotto. Food was not good and Bald guy is uneducated and cheap. He urgently needs to go back to school since he does not have the manners as how to behave with women.

What a perfect way to refuel after a long day of traveling down from the Alps! Stumbled across this Italian seafood shop in the Markthalle, and my interest was immediately piqued by what looked to be a smorgasbord of fresh fish on offer - from wild-caught turbot, to river salmon and bass, to ocean cod. I had absolutely no idea what to get, but Lorenzo saw me sniffing around and gave a masterful introduction, resulting in a selection of three perfectly grilled fish fillets on a bed of seasonal vegetables and porcini mushroom risotto. Would definitely recommend to anybody in town! The Markthalle is right across Basel’s main train station, so even if you’re just passing through and need a quick bite, do consider dropping by!

You can also buy fresh fish - it doesn't have a huge selection, but it's selected. Particularly recommended: the homemade fish soup.

Unser großer Meeresfrüchteteller war so frisch und lecker, dass wir vergessen haben, vor der Bestellung nach dem Preis zu fragen.

Neu haben sie Ihren eigenen Laden - super gemacht - sieht toll aus. Es ist nicht einfach das Passende zu bestellen. Die Auswahl an Tagesspezialitäten ist so gut, der Frisch-Fisch in der Auslage für eine Fischplatte so einladend und finally das aufgestellte Team immer wieder ein Besuch wert. Wir haben schon einiges gegessen, aber die Fischplatten ab/für 2 Personen sind der Hammer! Eine Flasche Arneis dazu können wir ebenfalls empfehlen. Wir kommen in Kürze wieder.....

Il mio “simpatico amico” italiano è da conoscere :-) I prezzi... più che accettabili x essere in Svizzera... le porzioni, decisamente abbondanti.Che aspettate... andate a provarlo!

Haben zu zweit eine sehr großzügig bemessene Fischplatte bekommen. Nebst Jakobsmuscheln Pulpo Scampi und Filet von der Rotbarbe wurde ein ganzer Wolfsbarsch serviert mit Risotto und Gemüse als Beilagen. Wöchentlich gehen wir dort essen und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Seafood ist sehr frisch und wird direkt von den sehr netten jungs vor den Augen der Kunden zubereiter. Grossartiges Essen und grosses Kino.

In a very nice atmosphere in the Markthalle you can order a dish with several fried fishes. For a big plate (for 2 persons) with Gambas, flatfish, octopus, potatoes and vegetables you pay 120 Swiss Francs. This was including 3 beer. For us, it was worthwhile!

La qualité de la nourriture est vraiment incroyable. Huîtres, coquilles Saint Jacques, gambas géantes, le meilleur poulpe de ma vie. Dans ce cadre c'est pas forcément un dîner très romantique, mais si vous voulez manger d'excellents, alors c'est là qu'il faut aller. Et niveau prix ça a pas coûté beaucoup plus cher qu'un repas dans une pizzeria. Je reviendrai c'est sûr

Der Fisch ist frisch, herrlich abgeschmeckt, klasse angerichtet und von üppigen Portionen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent, das merkt man an der sehr guten Beratung.Dieses Essen war ein Hochgenuss.Gerne wieder!

Ich habe schon öfters bei fish and more gegessen.Die Köche sind immer kundenfreundlich und aufgestellt. Das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet und man hat eine grosse abwechslungsreiche Auswahl. Die Wartezeit ist kurz und der Preis ist gut angepasst. Die Teller werden schön angerichtet und das Essen schmeckt super. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Ohne Zweifel ein Geheimtipp für Fisch in Basel. Täglich ist das Essen frisch (frischer geht es nur am Meer!), ausgewogen und mit Liebe zubereitet. Erstaunt haben mich besonders die fairen Preise (habe noch nie mehr als CHF 30.- bezahlt) und das freundliche Personal. Hier darf der Kunde Fragen stellen und wird beraten. Mit Freunden habe ich letzes Mal eine Fischplatte bestellt - ein echtes Erlebnis!
