Unique terrace with 360° view of the mountains. Especially the famous Eiger Mönch and Jungfrau.

Great place to eat after finishing the hike from männlichen. I got the Rösti with the local cheese and meat. It was delicious. If you go on a busy day the place can get very busy and the service will be fairly slow. This is what happened to me , but it was worth it.

What can you say? Go for a long hike and then have a mountain top gourmet meal with a beer. Excellent salad melee. I also accidently ordered the daily lunch special. I did not regret it. Very good pork cutlets with gravy and vegetables.

We visited this restaurant after a long trail from Mannlechen to Klein Schidegg on a sunny morning. Had a chilled prosecco. the waiting lady was extremely friendly.

Worst service. The order was not taken for 15 minutes despite mentioning to them. So we decided to go out.

You are just far enough away from Kleine Scheidegg to escape the large crowds of tourists. There are still a lot of hikers and guests, but not as many overnight guests in comparison. The food is good, both the prices and the portion sizes are figure-friendly and Swiss.

Gastronomy possible on the sun terrace. Fantastic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. There is an extra "lookout" that can be reached via stairs. The service staff are quick, charming and very, very friendly! There were no long waits for food and drinks.

The Stübli is next to two others, in the top position...so you can climb a few more meters 😁😁 But it's worth it...not just because of the view...the food is also great. 👍👍 I treated myself to a delicious, spicy sausage salad and my husband to some noodles. Both were very good. There is a large outdoor area with a small sandpit. Then there is a kind of ausicjtsplatform, in the form of a house....gorgeous. 😍😍 So if you feel fit and hungry enough... you have to go there 👍😁😍

Beautiful views and worth putting up with the subpar food and service just for that. The hot chocolate is a packet served with a cup of hot milk. Mix it yourself. Never experienced this in a restaurant before and never should.

Nice location with a great view. Good food and friendly, fast service. The only disadvantage: since you can't or hardly make a reservation, people constantly ask you whether they can still sit at the table (also because there are only benches and no chairs and people then sit on someone else's bench Sit down at a table when there is no more space at your table. That somehow doesn't fit with the good food and service. It's quite possible that the fact that you can't actually make a reservation, combined with the benches, means that the guests have the " "self service" atmosphere arises from other restaurants, where you regularly sit down at any free place at a table. With a reservation system (possibly with credit card information and fee for no-show) the problem would probably be solved quickly.

We were there in mass sleep and I have to admit that the price-performance ratio is awesome! It was only one night but the atmosphere was great. The restaurant/warehouse can be reached directly on the ski slopes. The service is very nice and the food is very good. In any case, I'll go there again, that's for sure!

I love the view from This restaurant. Amazing!

We had a decent meal here, I had their House Sausage with Rosti. The Sausage was unique and probably the best tasting ones I had in our trip. The rosti was also crispier than others which is always a good thing. The restaurant also has a decent lookout tower with great 360deg views of the place.

The view and panorama are magnificent, wonderful snowy mountain peaks and glaciers.

E best rosti we had even after 10 days of travelling in Swiss. The rosti is crispy on e outside n firm on the inside. The onion sauce is fragrant with some of e onion slices still crunchy. Sausage is juicy and with just e right amt of cheese. This is a short distance from the Kleine Scheidegg train station and with awesome view. Service is fast as well. A true reward for the end of hiking

Great view. It is a bit further from the train station compared to the restaurants nearby so it should be less crowded during peak period.

Stunning views in serene setting up the hill from the Kleine Scheidegg station. We thoroughly enjoyed the veganer flammkuchen mit gemuse (vegan veggie pizza) and fries while taking in the breathtaking view from the outdoor deck. Definitely a great stop to take a break and grab some pictures and a meal heading to/from Jungfraujoch or while on the Eiger Trail.

I shouldn't write this actually and should be secretive about this place, because it's my favorite mountain hut in the entire Grindelwald Valley! I have been there 5 times now at different occassions and times of the year and it was always a great experience: The service is outstanding, the authentic and regional food ist delicious, the price-value especially for their half-pension is good and last but not least their Barrel Sauna and Spa with view to the Eiger Northface and down into the Grindelwald valley is just mindblowing - especially at night and in the winter below a Sky full of Stars. For the 360° experience, they have a little viewing platform a few steps away from the hut. For eMountainbikers, there is a free charging station. There is just one thing, I would like to suggest: If you would offer a discount for Alpine Club members at least in bunkbed rooms and offer a 'Bergsteiger' meal option that would be highly appreciated! Unlike other tourists, we hikers usually support the work of our Alpine Clubs and keep the trails going. Also most of us do a lot of volunteer work and support sustainable tourism, eg. we take our waste back with us and avoid it in the 1st place! Some huts appreciate this and 'give' a little back.

We were a group of 7 people (including a one and a half year old girl) and we came here for lunch. Fast, competent and kind staff, excellent dishes (much better than many restaurants in the city centre) and a beautiful place. The little girl then enjoyed playing in the outdoor playground equipped with some rides. I would definitely go back!

Here they have the best Wurst/käsesalat from the whole town, definitely a must try. The other food is also of great quality and I also love their ice tea.
