We wanted to park here, but the whole area was closed to cars and buses. Only 1 car was there for 3 hours...

Actually a nice place. Nice to switch off and you can look into the distance. Unfortunately there was little security/police presence.

Inseli park is a nice little park right next to the Luzern train station and the KKL along the west side of the lake Vierwaldstättersee. In Summer it is a nice place to chill on the grass and enjoy the cool breeze that comes from the lake. Before Christmas there is a very nice Christmas theme (mainly food and drinks) market. I almost forget to mention the beautiful view on the city and the (pre)Alps.

I'm disappointed because many don't open until 4 p.m

We were at the Christmas market on Lake Lucerne in Lucerne (Switzerland) on December 9th, 23, and the Christmas market is a cozy one.

Great! There is a wonderful view of Lake Luzern, and especially of the mountains... Mount Pilatus! Amazing!

One of the most beautiful spots in Luzern. As you walk, on one side is the glistening lake of Luzern and the other side is a wonderful garden extremely well maintained by the city of Luzern. Inseli park bathes you in a sense of serenity and a must visit place especially in October where the Autumn fair or "Chilbi" is held every year.

Lovely park to sit down and enjoy a picnic. The pigeons here are really polite - they do not intrude into your personal space unless you’re about to give them some food.

The new island offering would actually be very nice if it weren't for the extremely overpriced selection of drinks. 8.- for 1 dl of cheap white wine... The city council forgot a crucial point in the usage regulations. The requirement to adapt pricing to low earners. If you want to do something for the low-income people, the people should feel comfortable and not the cash register should be the priority. There is another way.

A good place to relax with a beautiful view of the lake, the downside is that it is noisy.

Great beach, excellent views of both the city and the Alps. Sunset is amazing. Water is clean and refreshing and you can take a shower after swimming.

Cozy little park near the famous lake in Lucerne

I think it's very nice and comfortable there for a picnic (the only problem is the toilets don't work)

Small drinks with lots of ice and little other content. Employees are slow, prefer smoking and making out to working. Aperol Spritz and Spritzer Weisser are not worth their name here.

In the Swiss city of Lucerne, Inseli-Park is a lovely park situated on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The park is a well-liked destination for both locals and visitors and provides breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains in the area. A playground, a swimming pool, a boat rental facility, as well as a number of eateries and cafes, are all located at Inseli-Park. We spent some leisure time here while travelling from Luxembourg to Lauterbrunnen via Luzern. We loved this place very much but we did not have enough time to look around and relax. This a very happening place. Very neat and clean.

The park is small, with a good view of the lake, ships, city and mountains. There is a small children's playground. Near the lake there are benches near the water. We can say that this is a small green corner where you can relax while you wait for your boat ride.

A small, clean, well-kept park in the central area overlooking the lake and the city where you can find: benches, children's games, and a nice relaxing walk. Behind it is the station, a convenient car park and a clean and nice paid public toilet. From here you can easily reach the center on foot and there are boat departures. In short, if you stop in Lucerne to break up your journey, come here, the location will be convenient.

Were here at Christmas time. Very pretty and homely designed “food village” with all kinds of good food and drinks. Recommended!!!

Pleasant place to stay in summer.

Beautiful park in the heart of Luzern: it is directly on the lake, and during late November - December it is used for a colorful Christmas market! Also, there is a small area where kids can play. The night is full of people drinking and eating. Totally recommended to visit in Lucerne! Toilets are available and free at the entrance of the park.

Saturday the 26th we went to the Christmas market. Very nice location with lots of things to eat. Cool thing. I would love to do it again👍

The Inselipark is a small green spot in the city of Lucerne. Overall, it is inviting and a good place to forget the stress of the city for a moment. There is also a public toilet there that is free and open. Unfortunately, it's just as clean as it sounds...

The small park is located directly on the lake, a stone's throw from the train station and the Lucerne Art and Congress Center (KKL). It has some benches and shady trees. If you want to swim in the lake, you should do so in Ufschötti, 5 minutes further east.

A cozy place, right on Lake Lucerne, to unwind and unwind. A good meeting place for young and old. Even if it is a little stormy on some days. There is a beautiful view of the Rigi, the city of Lucerne and the mountains all around.

The Inseli Park itself is a small, nice place to soak up the sun, enjoy the lake or, for example, get some peace and quiet. The park is well-kept, beautifully landscaped with flowers and has a few snack stands and plenty of seating. The park also has a playground. I rate this one 3/5 stars. He's okay, but nothing more. There is also a public toilet on the site, although we didn't visit it.
