Henrici in Zürich

Very nice restaurant-café. The staff very friendly and professional. The food was also good👍🏻 and the drinks too.

Café Henrici is a rustic place to enjoy a coffee or tea. The service staff is very courteous and nice. The New York Cheesecake is/was 👍.

the waiter and the waitress were very friendly! the matcha latte was for my taste with too much milk and to expensive for what it was (8.50CHF). However, the Flammkuchen Basil Boom was great!

It's a cute place, we ate achaili bowl and classic bagel, it was delicious. As someone who missed tea, they brought it in a teapot and I was able to drink 3 cups, it was great..

A really cute café in Niederdorf. We didn't eat anything, but everyone else's food looked delicious. The coffee can be ordered according to your taste, plant or cow's milk, with caffeine or without. The service was courteous and professional. I'd love to come back.

Great place to work, relax, have lunch, breakfast, brunch, all day long. It is dog friendly too. I saw people bringing their dog and worked for a while. Loved the vibe here

The coffee was good, the service was sometimes a bit unfriendly (depending on who was serving). It's better not to use the toilets there. They were dirty and the fittings were worn out. A renovation would be urgently needed!

Always busy, but you can reserve in advance. I would recommend this for 3 or more people. Coffee and cappuccino are very good, I haven't eaten anything there yet.

Very cosy cafe at a very cosy square. It was raining when we were visiting so it was very busy and we had to wait in line. Nice menu with delicious healthy yoghurt bowl.

Very warm and friendly welcome. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks (tea and lemonade) were freshly prepared and served quickly. The Café Henrici has a cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The price-performance ratio is right.

Very nice café in the heart of Zurich with friendly service and a wide selection of drinks (I only consumed one drink). A glass of tap water was also served with my hot drink. Cash payment is possible (unfortunately not a given in Zurich).

Very lovely experience. We have been twice and the coffee was excellent both times. I would recommend the chilli coffee, as it was very well balanced. Flambee was delicious and crispy. Service was very kind. Nice atmosphere too - well located, and various sized tables.

The cheesecake was absolutely delicious! The people there were polite and friendly. The only downside for me was the noisy atmosphere, but overall, it was okay.

The waiter was very friendly! I asked for a cheese platter which is usually only for the weekend brunch and both our waiter and the kitchen were very kind and allowed for this exception to be made. The food was very yummy and the (dirty) chai latte was perfect! Will definitely be coming back :)

Delicious breakfast/brunch and more corner 😊spot in old town. Weather permitting it has nice outdoor seating. Inside it’s fairly small and it is very busy on the weekend. I had the shakshuka €14 and eggs €12 with good strong coffee. The popular item seemed to be the variety of thin pizzas. Good dining choice. That’s all for now!

Very expensive and you pay more for oat drink (water + oatmeal = you can make it yourself ;) than cow's milk. Pretty much not up to date. Prices for portions aren't quite right either. Service was tired and hard to understand. A pity.

It was my first trip to Europe, so I was worried about what I would do if I couldn't communicate well, and I did a great job! The owner and staff were all kind and Alpino and cafe latte were really delicious. The store was clean and everyone had a warm atmosphere. I will stay in Zurich next time and visit this cafe again. Very good flammekuchen and drinks

Not sure why this Cafe gets raving reviews... For some reason unbeknwon to me - this place has morphed into some kind of hipster place. I've been here a few times over the last few yrs - never ate (not the sort if place I'd order food from), however, recently my friend and I were told "we're closed" at 9.15pm... a full FORTYFIVE MINUTES before closing time!!! All we wanted was a hot drink as we were standing outside talking and our feet got cold.. We were not even asked what we wanted (food or drinks) - but being refused entry a full 45 minutes before closing time is beyond rude.

Go to Café & Conditorei 1842 for hot chocolate . Very sad, we came only for hot chocolate, no food. I'm swiss and took my visiting friends here based on some good reviews but don't bother if you are looking for tasty, rich, chocolate flavours. The drink barely tasted of chocolate. Go a few doors further up for truly tasty chocolate They have lovely smelling loose leaf tea though

I went there for lunch. Ordered a quiche with spinach. I had to lay ghost at the size of the quiche that costs chf11! It wasn’t even good as it was warmed up in a microwave. Their flammekuche look better.

The curcuma latte was delicious! Great atmosphere too.

The food offer is not too much to applaud for. This place is well suited for a coffee or a glass of wine / drink, accompanied by a smaller snack. Although, it's possible to get a Flammkuchen or a salad if slightly hungry. Nice and relaxed atmosphere where you easily can go either alone or with company during day- or evening time

The service from the handsome man was excellent, and the others were also super friendly. Chai latte and yogurt with berries and super hot granola were very tasty.

Nice place for a nice spicy hot chocolate milk with cheesecake and Apfelstrudel or a nice flammkuchen with a beer. You may have to wait a short while for a place, but as soon as you have it, enjoy it. Don’t forget to tip the nice waitress/ waiter 😉.

The croissants are really not good, I don't recommend it at all, I didn't even eat it because it was so cold and not good. I was told that they are homemade the same morning, I should change the baker in my opinion.

Somewhat alternative house with staff from all over the world, gentlemen with tails on their heads... Takes getting used to But there is a nice selection of food on offer, and the one with rump actually made a tea within what felt like 10 minutes. Very relaxed for relaxed people who think the work-life balance is cool!

We two women enjoyed the Henrici brunch - with fine coffee, super fine muesli, plaited bread, jam and butter. Wonderfully fine and filling. Only recommended. We will be back !!!

We waited a long time for her to come and take our order. Then, we waited a long time to receive a very cold, sweet, and low-quality chai latte and cappuccino. The vegan cookies were terrible.

We ordered vegetarian Tarte Flambee with 3 different toppings, Avocado, Argula, tomato etc. Crust was thin and it was very delicious. Beer on tap was pretty good. Service was pretty good. There is seating inside and outside. Pretty good dining experience.

Nice atmosphere. The service was very pleasant and courteous. Coffee and chocolate cake tasted great.

Tarte flambée is very good, quiche are quite small for the price and nothing special. It's usually very crowded and rather loud, so it can take a while to get served. The drinks and homemade lemonades look nice, but a big part of it is the good name and the location. The coffee is supposed to be very good, I haven't had it yet.

Unfortunately only small things to eat in the evening. Edit after reply from owner: Map about unspectacular. But snacks are lovingly prepared. The staff was very friendly. Location is a big plus.

I visited with my mother, and both the meal and coffee were very delicious! We sat outside and the staff was very friendly. Since I was studying German, I used a mixture of English and German to order, make requests, and pay, and they listened and responded kindly. When the bee landed on the food and asked for help, he said he could help me change its location or kill the bee. I recommend it~ (They didn't kill the bee, but rescued it and released it~)

I came in this place because it's full of amazing reviews but this is the cappuccino that they served me.... unfortunately. Temperature of this cappuccino was very very high... The waitress was very friendly

So many cool drink options! Plus lots of super yummy vegan options. The servers were very friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile while helping all the customers sitting outside get re-seated inside when it suddenly started to rain very hard. Would recommend!

Overall, very nice place to have breakfast/brunch. Food is delicious, coffee is very good and service is amazing. Sure, it’s a bit expensive (it’s Zurich right), but what a great place!

It turned out to be one of our favourite cafés in Zurich. When compared to some other popular cafes in the city centre, the service was fast and the staff was friendly. Prices were fair. We would highly recommend Café Henrici if you are looking for delicious food and quality coffee.
