Don't visit this place if you don't have to. Astronomical prices for fast food food with no taste or texture. We had Pad Thai and Tom Ga Kai soup and both were sub par. Pad thai tasteless and stuck together in one piece of noodles. Disgust. We paid 90 chf for 3 meals in fast food with trays. Unbelievable.

Good for a quick lunch. Very busy every day between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. The food is tasty, but suffers somewhat from the quick production and delivery. That's why it's a bit expensive.

The location is strategic and the venue well designed. The oriental cuisine is not bad and offers various origins from Japanese to Indian cuisine. The quality could be improved as well as the service and organization.

There are a lot of choices with menus written in German, English, and Chinese.

Unfortunately, the Pad Thai Chicken I ordered was nothing more than a sticky pile of noodles drowned in soy sauce, with chicken meat of the lowest quality (including cartilage). Far too expensive for almost thirty francs.

Sadly we didn't like the food. The paneer was tasteless and the butter chicken was disappointing. Indian food should be complex in taste. It was not. We also had a Chinese wan tan soup, it was also disappointing. It was more like a pepper soup and the wan tan were not fully cooked. We will not be retirning. The service was abrupt and not very welcoming. The seating is uncomfortable and hard. The noise level is super high. Everytime on customer stood up the chairs made loud sound.

Very good cuisine with dishes from Asia. From Indian dishes to sushi, there is a large selection. The “Chicken Tikka Tandoori” menu is particularly highly recommended. The chicken is very tender with red marinade and sauce, served with rice and salad. I personally like it with naan bread. Parking spaces can be found in the nearby Sihlcity shopping center. It can also be easily reached from the main train station within 10 minutes with the SZU-Langnau or tram line 13.

My family had thai , Indian and sushi there. The place had street food feel but they all tasted amazing.

I had dinner here for my birthday. The fried noodles were reheated and very greasy. My curry, No.13, didn't have any lemon leaves on it as described. The second meal had very dry duck. Food could also be presented more lovingly. Children's menu costs a little spring onions 1 CHF more. Prices are overpriced for the quality.

Price performance is completely wrong, a plate with meat, vegetables and sauce costs CHF 27.50. You even pay an additional CHF 3.50 for the rice. I had the Szechuan with chicken. It was nice, but not worth it for the price.

Whenever I come here I eat lamb curry with naan bread. Very tasty every time. I never have to wait long and the dish comes together quickly with rice. Afterwards there are enough seats to enjoy the dish

Biggest dirty restaurant there is, only you pay 27.50 for sweet and sour chicken, you can also get it without rice, you have to have the rice for 3.50 plus a bottle of cola for a whopping 4.90 and when you go out they don't pack the food for you I take it with you and when you go out you don't say goodbye. I think it's very cheeky. I paid 71.- for two sweet and sour drinks with a pretty cheeky one!!

A great restaurant. Fast, good service at the checkout. On the other hand, it's a bit too quick when cleaning up. Let people finish eating in peace and not immediately ask if they are finished so you can put it away. Especially when the other person is still eating. Otherwise very fine dishes with appropriate prices.

Very fine food from China, Thailand and India, ready quickly, unfortunately no restaurant with service. Otherwise everything was tip top. A superb address with a fantastic choice of sushi, sashimi... very fresh and priced according to the color of the plate. A cool concept with real Japanese people. Fair price for a Japanese. Really great.

Not really fresh and rather expensive. A Thai curry costs just under 30 francs, then the rice costs an extra 3.50. Irritating. The promised freshness is not given; potatoes used have the typical unfresh refrigerator taste. The meat origin declaration is missing.

My curry was way too salted and basically not eatable. Also demanding 3.5 francs for a bowl of basic white rice when the basic, boring curry already costs 27 bucks is shameless. Won‘t go back to this place in the future.

The huge price increase is simply an outrage. Everything became more expensive, that's clear. But I've never experienced such extreme elevation.

Worst food I had in Zurich and one of the most expensive one. The waiter messed up our order, the English menu is not the same as the German one and they forgot our drinks. The food was so salty that I couldn’t finish it. I wonder if it’s so salty because they work with no fresh ingredients. The side is not included in the menu. For 2 normal meals with fried rice I payed 75CHF.

Food is usually very good, only 4 stars due to prices rather on the high end of the scale plus the v basic interior design / atmosphere

One menu wasn't delivered to us enough and the current manager was very uncooperative. Laughs on the phone. The Uber driver had signed and they can't do anything... The Uber driver takes the blame for the mistake and still delivers it to us. Then the manager told him to do it not deliver because we were rude, an impertinence!

Very good Indian cuisine, an experience

Chicken tikka. Too bad, the poor quality rice (the broken gray basmati, too fine to withstand the shock of cooking, clumps together, and the scent is that of boxes at the back of Indian stores) chicken marinated in the same sauce as that provided in the plate, bright red but little taste. The electric tandoor - forget the expected grilled taste - does the job. Cuisine without love, 34.- with a nan and a drink.

Good food of different Asian cuisines in one big restaurant. There are a lot of Thai and Chinese dishes as well as curries. The staff is welcoming, fast and attentive.

Very cool restaurant for those who are tired of eating the same food in Switzerland. Very good value for money. Their red duck is really delicious, be sure to order it with the fried rice!

Price/performance poor. The beef smelled strongly of liver and was tough, couldn't eat it. The fried rice was edible but not tasty. I've rarely eaten so badly. I sometimes wonder how restaurants like this can survive and how they can even serve something like that... really bad.

Employees of this restaurant can also be found on the S-Bahn (S3 from Bülach at 8:11 a.m.) sleeping with their legs propped up on cushions and armrests. If someone wants to use one of the free seats in this compartment, the person will be ignored. I ate in the restaurant several times. The food is good, but has now become very expensive. It gets difficult below CHF 30...

I ate there 3 times. For many people, the dishes get worse every time. Never had such a bad Asian meal before. The beef was tough. The rice noodles are overcooked and barely edible. No taste except soy sauce. The entire dish was bland and carelessly slapped onto the plate. Def. not recommended. For these prices I expect something enjoyable.

You can choose between Thai, Chinese & Indian cuisine. Prices are not cheap, between 20 and 30 francs depending on your choice. I've been there several times and the food is OK. There are certainly better restaurants in Zurich, but if you're staying in Shilcity and don't really feel like burgers or pasta, this is a welcome alternative. Be careful, the spicy food is really spicy! I eat Szechuan at almost every Chinese restaurant, but here it's definitely too spicy for me.

We were there today and had butter chicken. The prices have increased again to CHF 28.00 and CHF 5.00 for the naan bread. That's almost a 50% price increase over the last year. The food is good, but the price is completely exorbitant and amounts to a rip-off. We will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Even though you specifically order the fried chicken separately from the sweet sour sauce, they are unable to deliver it that way. At the end you get a sticky, soggy breading for 35.- with rice and a drink!!! Poor service

Basically, I am an extreme fan of Hong Kong and have been a regular guest for years. There is a large selection of Asian and Indian dishes and practically no waiting times. In particular, the Indian Corner with the Butter Chicken has been at a consistently good level for over 5 years. What bothers me now, however, is the extreme price increase: the butter chicken used to be 19.- with naan + 2.-. There was a first price increase about 1-2 years ago (still manageable, but at the pain threshold). Recently you pay 22.50 for the basic menu and the naan costs 4.-!!! Opened. So 26.50.- for “take away” food from the scoop, which is very good, but without a drink I find this amount to be significantly excessive. Of course everything will be more expensive with Corona, but this increase is too much. At this price I'm wondering whether I need the naan or whether it has Hong Kong in it...

Customer: “1x menu SweetSour please.” Cashier1: “To drink?” Customer: “Nothing, thank you.” ... the payment terminal shows CHF 25.90 and the customer already wants to pay. Cashier2: “The rice plain or fried?” Customer: “Nature, please.” Cashier1: “Then please hold the card there.” … pointing to the pay terminal. Customer: “Why does it now say CHF 33.90? Isn't the rice part of the SweetSour menu?" Cashier1: “No, the side dish costs extra.” Customer: “A heap of rice for CHF 8.00? Why are you asking me about “natural or fried” without mentioning that this is a paid side dish? Is this how you’re taught here?!” ... exceptionally visit this restaurant full of overpriced mini menus... OK. But with this deliberate, unpleasant sales pitch, I leave the restaurant without having accomplished anything and prefer to go to good old Suan Long, where this menu is INCLUDED. RICE is still available for CHF 15.90, and then an acceptable portion! Try being honest, it will bring you more success in the long run! You have lost me as a customer forever.

The dishes are very fine. The selection of sushi, Asian and Indian food is particularly large and varied. It is prepared quickly and freshly but is also a little more expensive. Unfortunately, you can't always find a comfortable place to sit. Otherwise everything fits. We always like to come back.

Green Curry with fried rice: Top! order and pay at the checkout. Food comes to the table and is cleared away. Ambience unromantic, more of a canteen feeling.

The yellow Thai curry with beef from Switzerland was very good, but too expensive. It's unbelievable that at these prices white rice costs extra and the chicken comes from Brazil!

Really good food. Pad Thai, Sweet and Sour and Chicken Tikka Masala were amazing! Food is prepared quickly and freshly. Service great! The opening times are great! There are also all you can eat offers over lunch. There are parking spaces in Sihlcity. There are different dishes from different countries (India, Japan, China, Thailand and Vietnam) it's worth taking a look!

I worked at Shilcity years ago and often came here for lunch. I thought the price was high, but it always tasted delicious! Fried rice with fresh vegetables as it should be! There are far too many underground restaurants that have high prices but can't deliver. As soon as the quality is right, I'm happy to pay for it! I'm very happy to see that HongKong Food is still around!

Can't understand how this store can survive. Once and never again, portions are quite small, too expensive anyway BUT the food and rice is terribly bad. Absolutely not recommended.
