Hotel Rössli in Zürich

As soon as you enter, you feel as comfortable as if you were entering your living room. Unbelievably beautiful ambience. The passion for his bar can be felt throughout the restaurant. Espresso martini is highly recommended

Atmosphere is nice. The old fashion, Hemingway special and whiskey sour were 2/10. Bar not known for their cocktails.

Very unfriendly, snippy and arrogant service including insults to the guests - as we all know, the tone makes the music. Many thanks to the bar owner for his constructive feedback - confirms once again that the rating is justified and that it is by no means a correct way of dealing with other people.

Early aperitif yesterday in the Rössli Bar. Very friendly and attentive host. Pleasant atmosphere. The white Müller Thurgau from Aargau convinced us so we ordered a second bottle😋 The Rössli platter was perfect for a small hunger. All I can say is: see you next time!

Worst Old Fashioned and worst red wine I've had in a long time with a bad hangover for both me and my companion the next day. Never again

Located in a narrow alley and a little bit hidden from the obvious touristic restaurants and bars, this is a really nice place to have a good drink and spend some time with your friends. Not too noisy like other places, just a good atmosphere.

Very pleasant atmosphere, delicious drinks. The homemade olives are simply great, you can also take them with you. Staff is also very friendly.

Very quiet but well located. Space is limited. The olives here are amazing. You can also buy the olives and take them with you. If you're a little hungry, I can recommend the Wienerli with horseradish. The staff is very friendly. I've never had a negative experience here :)

Overpriced and the staff was extremely unfriendly and insulted customers. Wouldn't recommend it if you want to have a pleasant time. Edited (answer): everyone made losses during Corona times, but this does not excuse the disrespectful behavior of the staff

The prices are unreasonably high and the staff was very unfriendly.

Very simple bar with mediocre cocktails. The whiskey sour is not properly made with egg whites and the cocktail cherry in it says enough, yet costs 15.50 CHF. We did much appreciate the nibbles. The outdoor seating in the alley is a bit sad and not very comfortable, especially if the next table over has a chain smoker. The place has location and opportunity, but I probably won't return. Perhaps it's more enjoyable if you are simply looking for a beer. In response to the owner: I respectfully disagree regarding checking the ingredients of a classic cocktail. By contrast, Rooftop serves a magnificent Kentucky Slushy (a twist on a Boston Sour) for 17 CHF. I understand that cocktails in the city center are going to be pricy, but I cannot reasonably give Rössli Bar a better review based on our experience.

So here's the deal: it is kind of a niche bar since it is located in a sidealley in the Niederdorf, but that makes the place even better! It's just great for hanging out after work, having a few beers and so on The staff has always been very friendly, uncomplicated and they always serve pretty fast and look after their customers wellbeing. In the beginning, it looked like a nice place from the outside. However, once you are in, it is not very nice at all. The bar manager really had an attitude, and was not very friendly. Just bad!

Asked for an espresso, was declined because I am a foreigner. The bartender/manager was very proud to be Swiss.

For all Zurich Tourists , you must go to the lovely old classic Bar in the old part of the city.. Verry nice people's and verry friendly Waiters and the best Mojito and more.....

If you appreciate life and enjoying is a way of life, this bar is a basic need!!!!
