Very good... but not the best Vietnamese in Geneva

One of the few good dishes I’ve had in Geneva. I ordered the Bún Bò Nam Bộ (lemongrass beef with rice noodles) as the main course and overall it was pretty good. The dish was very flavorful, including the noodles, which is usually not the case in most restaurants. The mini spring rolls that came in the dish could be less greasy but overall, this was a tasty meal, so I would recommend it. We also ordered the Bánh Cuôn Tôm Thit (steamed rolls) as a starter but compared to the main dish these definitely lacked flavor. The veggie spring rolls were good however. The service was rather fast, and their portions are quite big. One thing to note though, if you’re vegetarian there are not many options.

Very good cuisine, I recommend. The Po soup is excellent.

Magnificent Vietnamese restaurant, not to be missed!!

Food is good, service is slow (20 minutes to even show up at our table to take our orders) and innatentive (got the wrong number for an order, did not even apologize our offer to change it but maintained that we said it wrong).

We were super excited to have found some comfort food, after days on traveling. Unfortunately, it was not up to standards. My family owned three Vietnamese restaurants, and I do a great amount of cooking Vietnamese food at home. Ordered the Bun Thit Noung, spring rolls, and Bun No Hue. 1. The meat was not cooked fully in the Bun Thit Noung. Called the woman in charge (red shirt) over. Asked her if she can take it back and have the chef re-cook the meat. Instead of offering to go back and redo the dish, she goes on, and on lecturing us about how they have the best meat distributor. And how they have the best meat..and how it's the best in the city. It's better than everyone else. I'm sure the fine Dining estblasihments are loving this. That was NOT what I asked her. I asked if she could take the bowl back, and ask the chef to FULLY cook the meat. Just because you can eat your meat raw, does NOT we want to!!!! She literally kept going on about how she backs their meat up,..BUT... if we really want to...she will take it to the back and have the chef, stir fry the ENTIRE thing...after seeing my b**ch face. Stressing how they have to stir-fry the whole thing, noodles and lettuce. I mean, did you even want to take it back? No, not really. I am on holiday w/ my niece. How do I explain to her mother if she gets sick from eating the food if it's not fully cooked??? Her stomach is not iron clad. Repeatedly offering to take it back, BUT stressing that they will have to stir-fry the entire bowl. Smh. Sad. My niece decided not to send it back after that ordeal. She ate her noodles, picking at the meat to make sure the others were cooked. The Bun Bo Hue didn't taste like Bo Bo Hue, Nor did look like it. I should know, I'm Vietnamese, and this is one of my favourite soups to eat. I make it at home. If it wasn't for the cha lua and noodles, I would have thought the waitress brought me pho. The soup broth was clear...not the orangy colour I am used to seeing with this soup Had to ask for fermented shrimp paste and salty fish sauce to flavour it. It was barely authentic, but at least they have cha lua, mam rouc (fermented shrimp paste), and nouc mam (fish sauce). Spring rolls peanut sauce tastes garlicky. Not sure why as we don't put garlic in our peanuts sauce. 90$ for the aforementioned and two drinks, is def not worth the spending.

Bún bò is little bit salty for us. But overall it’s perfect Vietnamese taste 💗💗

No matter what else, this has been one of the most tasty Vietnamese food I've had in Geneva in years. Definitely worth a try and I'm certainly coming back to try more things.

Opens at 1200, not 1130 on Monday. The food was awesome. We got the beef betel which actually comes with 4 rice papers. There were 2 skewers with 6 pieces of beef betel on each. That was my favorite appetizer. My wife got the pork broth noodles with shrimp. The shrimp was juicey. I got the bo luc loac which had the tenderest beef around. We ended up getting the ce phe su da and fried banana for dessert. I highly recommend the fried banana if you never had one. Don't let the simple concept of a fried banana fool you; you will love it. My wife had her first fried banana and was amazed at how delicious it was. Would recommend this place to anyone

Too expensive, unfortunately the 3 dishes ordered were not good. Bad value for money

Too bad I was expecting a lot better given the prices of the dishes, nothing special it's a normal qualitative and quantitative cuisine, nothing more, could do better

We really enjoyed the food (Summer Rolls, Pho Bo and Bo Cien Ron), everything was very fresh and tasty, the portion sizes were good and the price-performance-ratio fair. The service was friendly, but a little chaotic with wrong dishes ending up on our table. The atmosphere outside was nice and quiet.

Service was TERRIBLE. Did not want to engage with us since we were not French speaking. Asked for sauce and was ignored. The portion size was pretty small.

Very good Vietnamese restaurant, among the best in Geneva! The Bún Bò (CHF 29.-) was excellent, both the quality of the beef and the spring rolls. There could have been a little more aromatic herbs (like mint), but otherwise perfect, generous portion! Lunch menu with several choices at CHF 21.50 (starter and main course). Pretty terrace and efficient, friendly and accommodating staff (group of 10 people).

The cuisine is very tasty, the chef knows what he is doing. However, the service remains to be desired. Very very rushed and not attentive/attentive.. this did not impact our meal which was delicious but could still be improved.

I have been a regular client in the last 10 years and always been served nicely. Yesterday they kicked us out at 10:20 pm on a Saturday night bringing the bill and not even asking if we were done or wanted something else to eat or drink. We felt uncomfortable and not welcome. Said that, food is always delicious but service has been definitely disappointing. Pity.

Lovely experience for a spontaneous trip. Didn’t plan too much in advance, I came to Geneva and decided to “go with the flow”. Sen was coincidentally just a few steps from my hotel and that’s why I decided to go for it. Friendly staffs, heart-warming to see a genuine Vietnamese restaurant with well-prepared foods and good care of many little details from the bathroom to the chopsticks with instructions on it. Things could be improved but in total, I was happy with the quality. I could feel the freshness of the ingredients, saw the adaptations to the local tastes. Deserve a big recommendation 😊

It's like in Vietnam: fresh and with herbs (this is the most important thing to rediscover the taste of the base). Cheap, fast, good and very pleasant

One of the best vietnamese food options in Geneva - very fresh, quality ingredients, and tasty. More expensive than average. Staff is good, and can be really funny sometimes. The space is comfy.

Nothing to say about the food which was delicious but unfortunately we were very disappointed with the quantity of meat that was served to us! There were 4 of us and we had 2 menus for 2 people and it ended up being too expensive for what it is! We asked for extra and they gave us a few pieces of Chinese fondue and charged us for the rice! We really wanted to enjoy and drink more but the desire quickly passed! We have already been to other restaurants in Geneva for less than this restaurant and we were served so much that we had to refuse! Not to mention the service, they are very distracted and removed the table before we finished eating!

Delicious food, welcoming and efficient staff. Only regret: the quantity! We are not big eaters but left hungry after the beef menu, which is a shame because the price is high. On the other hand, taste-wise, it was perfect.

You can tell your getting fresh things here, high quality and things taste great! It’s somewhat expensive but if you want good Vietnamese this is the place. Even if the English to some of the waiters are limited, the service is great and they always bring someone who does speak English. Would definitely go again if I visit Geneva again.

Headed to the restaurant and ordered the set menu for 4 people and the food provided was enough for 1 person. While the food was good, definitely overpriced and not worth the price. Servers came to clean up the table even before we finished eating. Staff were quite rude and unfriendly when we asked for new serviettes as our old ones were cleared away.

This place is a hidden gem in Geneva. Has a cozy terrasse and a specious well-decorated interior. The food is delicious with authentic flavors, good portion sizes and fantastic presentation. I forgot to take pictures, but I will add them next time we come here.

Excellent Chinese restaurant with a very wide variety of dishes. We went with a group of friends and tried different dishes and we were all very satisfied! Very nice atmosphere and excellent service! I highly recommend !

The restaurant doesn’t look very fancy but the quality of the food is amazing. Their meat supplier ( specified on the menu) is one of the best butchery in Geneva and we could taste the difference from other places. Highly recommend the visit, if you care of what you eat this is a very good one!

Pretty good food. My noodles were a bit overcooked but nevertheless the service was fast and the atmosph was friendly. Would eat again. The bun bo hue was the highlight (which my friend got) it was amazing and the broth was very flavourful.

Ordered banh xeo and I gotta say it was pretty authentic ( I eat a lot of Vietnamese food back in California). 19 chf for it, which is pretty affordable compared to most restaurants in geneva charging 25chf+ for an entree. Don’t think banh xeo would fill up a regular persons appetite but it was perfect for me. It came with a lot of shrimp surprisingly and the nuoc Cham (Vietnamese dipping sauce) was pretty spot on. Accompanied veggies also were fresh. Not sure if I would pay 30chf for most of their other entrees. But that seems to be the norm in Switzerland where everything is expensive.

Magnificent evening with refined and very fresh cuisine. It was my first visit to this Vietnamese restaurant but certainly not the last. Everything is fresh, delicate and extremely well crafted. Highly recommended !

The food is good but the service doesn't want to make you come back. Especially the lady who seemed like the owner who repeatedly ignored simple requests in a deliberate manner and was just plain rude. Will not go back. It's a shame that the owner is driving customers away

I discovered this restaurant last summer and loved the beef Bo Bun. The cuisine is very good and refined, the meat from the large butcher shop in Molard a real delight. For my second visit, I took the Phò Bo: it was to die for. The friend who accompanied me for this meal was also delighted. To recommend ! A small downside, however: the waiters insist on clearing up, but that’s their job!!

The one can not be missed for the fan of Asian or Vietnamese foods. Highly recommended 😗

Nice service but the quantity for the price is not normal. It looks like a child's portion when you order a medium-sized soup priced at 21 chf. I won't come back again.

Very smiling and welcoming staff despite the late hour we arrived. Very pretty flowered terrace, quiet and sheltered from the rain. The food was very good. The stir-fried noodles I had were simply delicious! We will definitely come back!
