Nice restaurant with a good selection of food and drinks. Unfortunately the waitress mixed up one dish and brought another, otherwise everything was okay.

We ordered 5 plates for 4 people and ate our fill! The steak and salmon dishes were especially good. They're friendly, everything is really delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Maybe because it's a hotel restaurant, there weren't many people, but I was able to feel like I was in a restaurant that only I knew :)

Delicious food. Server always had a smile. Restaurant felt warm like they had no air conditioning. Thankfully, we were seated right by open door.

The food here is excellent and you can always find fine dishes on the menu. The food tastes fresh and therefore takes a little time to prepare. A few days ago, eight of us had dinner at Joel's Brasserie. We were warmly welcomed, our jackets and coats were stored in the cloakroom by the staff and we were personally shown to the table. My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at Joel’s. The soup was delicious and my pork cutlet was sublime! We were both so impressed that we went back the next night. I then tried the monkfish which was excellent. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. It is easy to visit with others there, if you are so inclined. Monika does a fabulous job of attending to the guests and providing a wonderful dining experience. Anastasia did a lovely job of serving us, as well.

Lunch at Joel's is really, really good--a proper meal served by friendly and helpful staff. I've eaten here numerous times, and it is always great. The wine specials are good, and the espresso is also excellent. Highly recommended.

To be honest, this brassarie is the real decent fine dining place in Luzern, given the tourist background of this town, many other places are a bit pretentious. I just couldnt understand why this place has been so overlooked. We visited here on a Saturday when Lucide and the boat restaurant are fully booked, leaving this place only few customers. This is so unfair, and i must say this place has really good interior design, amazing food with a frequently changed weekly menu, and very warm services. Their chef is fully trustworthy. Please stop by here, if you hesitate where to go in Luzern for a good experience of fine dining evening!

Don’t judge this restaurant by its humble location. It’s a gem of French cuisine in Lucerne! I had the best lobster bisque I ever tried, and a very delicious braised oxtail in red wine sauce for mains, absolute pleasure! My partner had a great wild garlic soup and an equally great pot au feu. The house wines were obviously chosen with care, balanced and not overpowering the dishes. The interior of the restaurant is cosy and relaxed with lots of paintings on the walls, and the service is sublime. My partner and I will return.

Get extra salad with the very fine and refreshing salad dressing. The fries and the Toblerone mousse were also very tasty. What disappointed me was the Cordon Bleu. I found it very dry and also it was fried almost too hard for me, almost burnt. Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars because Nicola was super friendly and as a guest you are the center of attention. Abschließend kann ich sagen dass ich jederzeit gerne wieder dorthin fahre aks Zürcher und die Strecke gerne auf mich nehme, wenn ich weiß ich bin erneut so gut aufgehoben wie die letzten drei Mal. Zu Frau Schnyder und Herrn Dittli zieht es mich aber immer am meisten, und gehe die letzten Male nur noch dorthin.Entspannte Atmosphäre zum Abschalten und geniessen bei hervorragenden Gerichten und bezahlbaren, sehr guten Weinen. Sehr persönliche Gästebetreuung runden meinen oft mehrstündigen Aufenthalt ab. Hier ist alles handmade, nichts oversized bzw. aufgesetzt. Wer meint der Gast muss König sein, verkennt daß der aussterbende Beruf des gekonnten Servierens und Bedienens wichtiger Teil des Geniessens und Verweilens des Gastes ist.
