Good food for those who likes Briani Rice

Would not recommend. Chicken pieces black in colour shouldn’t be the case when it’s freshly made. Chicken Karahi was bland and not sure how they have such good reviews for the same dish. Waste of money and will never return. Highly disappointing.

Food was so delicious. Staff also friendly. We tried chicken biryani and vegetable biryani. Top recommended.

Tasty food, nice people although the atmosphere wasn't very curated. Stained walls and very low maintenance throughout the whole place. All in all, recommended if you are in Interlaken, not picky about the place and just want good Indian/Pakistani food.

Food is good specially if you haven’t eaten Indian/Pakistani food for a while. Halal food. Quantity and quality were okay. They serve most of the dishes with rice. They didn’t provide bill, guy at restaurant was indifferent.

One of the worst food experience. The Biryani served was plain rice heated in microwave atleast 2 days old with small chunks of Chicken. Extremely overpriced and not worth for spending money.

Great food and the amount is also great. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. The location is super convenient, right next to Interlaken West trainstation. We did not have to wait a long time for our food. They were very fast. We ordered four meals and all of them were super delicious. The price per person is between 20-30 Swiss francs which is a very reasonable price for what ypu get. I can definitely recommend Kashmir, they also do takeaway.

Umar was fantastic. I had a blast with my three friends coming to interlaken we just wanted something quick, and not only was it fast but traveling Europe, this was the best food I’ve had so far. I had chicken tikka masala with basmati rice. Thank you for a great time, and dinner!!

I can say the food is quite delicious 😋. after more than one week of traveling to London, Paris & Zurich, finally I can have some hot food freshly made and with really good taste. Appreciate it so much. Food is quite expensive but where else we can find cheaper with a good taste food. This is a good one. Thank you.

All the dishes ordered that day were mutton dishes. The meat is soft and tender without any mutton smell, and the portion of rice is generous, making it very filling for one person. The dining environment needs to be improved, there are a little more flies

The rice is not cooked, the quantity of chicken is very small for its price, it is not worth one franc, and the place is cramped If the shop owner does not like your comment on Google Map, he will write that you are wrong about the restaurant and that you visited his restaurant, and please delete the comment 😂😂

By far perfect Desi food in Swiss, bit expensive but than its desi and halal in Swiss.

We had chicken karahi, naan and biryani. The prices were over the top for the food quantity but reasonable quality and taste. The place could be more cleaner with some ventilation.

Good food but expensive, the breads (naan, roti) are too small. The spices are a mixture of both india and Pakistan so taste is hybrid (suits the name of restaurant).

I dont normally post reviews but the food insulted me so bad that i feel like i have to. I ordered shrimps for 35 CHF and got this. There are more fries than shrimps?!?. Plus, it was also salty. Other dishes are ok at best and the portion was small and not reflective of the price Every main dish are in the range of 25-35 chf. I know swiss is expensive but this is outrageous. Service was slow. Definitely doesn't deserve 4 stars on google review. The owner might have bots spam good reviews because some reviews are suspicious ngl. The owner also doesnt respond well to criticism in the review replies. I hope the owner can take this complain to improve.

1st of all prices are way toooo much I mean who on earth charges 28/29 euros for one plate of biryani And food isnt great either Portions are very small. I guess the prices are because of their location but still way too much for what they offer We made a mistake as we had 3 young kids with us and they were hungry Dont make this mistake 😊

Not a trustworthy place at all. He charged for food we didn't order. Proportions were too small. When I add too pin he changed the price without us noticing. He ended up taking 154 from us! We barely ate and the preportion were way to small. The place was too hot! Do not recommend at all Horrible service and they will steal money from you.

Ordered 5 CHF and I basically received only third of the cup full of terrible tea. The toilets are unclean as well

Food reminded me of home! It gets ready in 15-20 min usually and you get rice with most dishes. The staff was really nice and it was a clean restaurant.

Worst place ever the portion sizes are not enough for a person and was served day old food that has gotten bad. Horrible service this is a tourist trap!!!!! Could do with more verity of starters and service on time. We received our main course 10 minutes before our samosas arrived. Apart from that the Chicken curry was nice and full of flavour.

First off, I am shocked by the negative reviews as my experience was much different… Even after closing the owner kindly took my family in and served us fresh Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka and Daal.. All hot, flavorful, and tasty along with great Naans. Highly recommend to anyone who can pay for good food and not complain about basic wait time. Thank you again to the kind owners for feeding my family even after the allotted closing time🙏🏽🙏🏽

We ordered kadai paneer. The gravy had a strong tomato flavour, and the food didn't taste very good. The naan and roti were made in an electric pizza oven; they were also not so good. Overall it was a bad experience. This is a tourist trap; it is expensive, and it does not serve Pakistani or Indian food. Highly not recommended.

we went there for dinner last week and were totally satisfied with a tasty chicken dish, veggie dish incl. naan & rice, after that desert. overall the food was very good and the service (owner, i guess) super friendly.

First, I have no idea how this place gets 4+ rating! I’m sure there are some fake 5* out there. The guy has no manners at all! The food was ok! We were very disappointed about the quality of the food, the quantity, and the service. Very poor service and presentation! The prices are high and the dining is bad! Don’t tell me your famous comment « this is Switzerland, an expensive country », this is just a an excuse to justify your prices. I don’t mind paying those amounts, and I was fine with them when we decided to order food. However, we were expecting better service and better and tasty food. The worst dining experience we had in Switzerland so far.

Those people who are comparing the rate of Pakistani dhaba with that of Swiss, they are interested in the fact that they either get gravy at the bus stand or they eat it for free.

Ordered Chicken Biryani with Lamb Karahi, but got served with Lamb Biryani and Chicken Karahi. The portioning was very small for what you pay for, definitely over priced compared to other local restaurants. Spend nearly 100 Euro for a meal that was portioned as a snack. However staff were friendly with their customer service but definitely got ripped off.

Today I visited Kashmir Restaurant. I ate very delicious food there. Chiken beryni butter sandwiches and butter chiken, mango lassi. That was very tasty.

Ok experience … Food portions and prices are steep but considering it’s a touristy location plus located right in front of the central bus stop so the prices are justified. Food was served fresh but took quite sometime over half hour and although we were the only guests still water was not served till we asked after paying bill .

The food was delicious also the service is good.

Best food we had in our four day stay at Interlaken. Excellent food. Look out for the perfectly buttered naans, parathas and delicous karahi and tikka chicken curries.

Had lunch here today with the family (4 people). The food was very flavourful and authentic. The only regret I had was that I was full and couldn't eat more of their delicious butter chicken curry. Would strongly recommend to anyone passing by and looking for a great meal to eat.

Absolutely hated this place. I was hungry and they served me tasteless food. And the amount of food for price was horrible. Indian tandoori is a much better option than this Pakistani restaurant.
