Excellent sushi experience with serious sushi chef I recently went to Simply Sushi restaurant and loved it. The sushi was the best I have ever eaten in Switzerland. The service was first class and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The service was courteous and helpful. The sushi chef seemed serious, but that didn't detract from my experience. It was hard to tell if his serious expression was due to the bad weather or if it was part of his cool image. Nevertheless, the quality of the sushi was excellent and you could feel the passion and skill of the sushi chef in every bite. Overall, I can highly recommend Simply Sushi.

The only restaurant in the world that will prohibit you from drinking your own water, from your own water bottle. I don't think i can even give the ramen here a star. The broth lacks flavor. The tamago is just a plain hard boiled egg and not even marinated. The rice of the donburi isn't even cooked properly. The place has clean water closet though. But overall, poor dining experience.

What I felt while traveling in Europe after Corona was that the Google reviews were fraudulent. The udon here doesn't taste like the udon I used to eat in Japan at all, and the rolls are just edible. If you want food, come here, but if you want the taste, stay away~~

Nice option for sushi and couple of other Japanese staples in Interlaken. Everything was fresh and beutifully served. Ramen was okay, but I'd say on the "poorer" side when comes to the amount of toppings - only half of an egg and couple of cubes of a chicken on top of noodles wasn't fully satisfying, but the flavour was quite good. Staff was polite and helpful but took quite long to even come to our table and take our orders. The restaurant is on the smaller side and can get crowded quite easily so table reservation is recommended.

As expected, it was delicious 😚 I was happy to be able to eat white rice (vinegared rice, although the amount of vinegar was modest) for the first time in a while. 1 star for nice interior design and friendly, fast service. Food was honestly some of the worse Japanese food I’ve ever had. Ordered the pork ramen (unfortunately I forgot to take a photo). Don’t think you could even call it ramen. The menu claims that the meat broth has been steeping for 48 hours. Honestly, the broth tasted like water with a dash of soy sauce and a bit of premade stock. The noodles were obviously store-bought CHINESE noddles and there were barely, and I mean BARELY, any in the bowl. There was a lot of pork but unfortunately they were dry and tasted more like sandwich meat. The corn was from the tin and the carrots were cut too thickly to be able to enjoy. Honestly, I would recommend choosing another restaurant and spending 23 francs on something better.

This review only concerns the lunch menu, à la carte is a different price range. The lunch menu changes weekly and includes a starter and main course around 20 Fr. Quality is very good, both the sushi and Timi's terrific soups (the soup is, in my opinion, the secret star of the restaurant). The furnishings are also great and Fredi is simply likeable.
