King Noodle Bar Terminal in Grindelwald

Amazing place for tourists after traveling down from Jungfraujoch. I had altitude sickness today after taking cable car down from the mountain, asked the ski information desk who didn’t offer any help at all, and stopped by this restaurant. The owner kindly offered advice for relieving ear pressure and the noodle I ordered was really delicious. Really appreciate the owner’s kindness and will definitely come again in the future

You can't expect an Asian Noodle bar in the Grindelwald Terminal. It is a must-go place for some warm Noodle when you have been up to the Jungfrau mountain top.

Terrible and a rip off! Beware!!!! We paid 90 Swiss francs for two bowls of ramen, one plate of dumplings, and two sodas. When I took a sip of the soda, it was warm and I asked for a replacement. The server said no because it was already opened. I told him that I was unaware that he gave me a warm soda before I opened it and asked for ice. He said "no ice," cursed at me in Chinese, and walked away. The food wasn't that good and neither one of us finished our bowls. We will never go back.

It smelled and the food was ugly

The food was tasteless and not worth the price. The food looked quite different on the order board, but it was just microwaved food. The waiter stole our money and was unfriendly.

After a day on the snowy mountains we were all craving for hot soupy dinner and came across this restaurant that was still open after the last gondola down. Dishes were overpriced but tasty.

Food that was marked vegan had half an egg on top! Thats clearly not vegan!

Cheated by the photo at the kiosk. Like what another reviewer said, typical trap place for tourists. About CHF 17 for this bowl, the only ingredients were vegetables and half an egg apart from the noodle drizzled with spicy sauce and some fried onion. Tasteless, diluted and flavourless. Had two bites and was done with the meal. Sad.

We chanced upon this restaurant while we were looking for Coop. Finally tried it. It was simply delicious!

I’m fairly surprised by the poor reviews. For Switzerland this is a very fair price. We had the spicy noodles and it was deliciously hot! Seemed very authentic even down to the digital ordering!

The taste of hometown is delicious. If you like spicy food, just ask the boss.

Very disappointing. 1x noodle soup with pork & 1x rice with beef. The food was still bland even after 2 packets of soy sauce. Only 3-4 pieces of meat in it. Part of the dish (pasta, rice or both?) was probably heated in the microwave, you heard the microwave pinging. The whole thing for just under 50 francs without drinks. Price/performance ratio is definitely not right.

Different from the image... It came with white soup so I just ate it... It was too expensive... Cup ramen wins...

I did not feel well after hiking cold and rainy days. After taking their warm chicken noodle soup, I felt much better. The quality of the soup,vegetables, and chicken meat are ok but the quality of noodle was awful. I felt better anyway and went back to have the same chicken noodle soup.

Quite expensive as the portion was less. I actually enjoyed the noodles because of the seasoning- there was a bowl of red paste & when I added a few teaspoons of that into the soup, it was pretty okay. Didn’t quite enjoy the pork dumplings though.

Was a rainy day and after coming down from Jungfrau, a bowl of hot noodle is what I crave for. Owner speaks in Chinese. We had cuttlefish ball and kimchi. Overall taste is ok. Can’t ask too much from this place. Enjoyed my dinner and if I come by, will visit again.

Reading the reviews, I was prepared for the worst. In fact the food turned out to be quite ok. I ordered the chicken pickled cabbage noodles which was quite tasty, considering this is Switzerland.

Too expensive. It's expensive... and the portion size is small... I ordered it because it said curry... but it wasn't curry, it felt like tom yum kung. It's a pity that the price is too high.

Typical tourist trap place: Zero quality dishes, elevated prices compared to what you get. It was very disappointing. They served nice and simple soups before, but it's a shame that a place like this can operate in this bustling area...

The photos of the food look great. The actual food looks sad (at best). I regret having tried it. (RESPONSE to owners comment) - I ordered the beef ball bowl with udon noodles. The Beef balls are so tiny compared to the photo. I think setting expectations properly with customers would be appreciated.

If you would like a warm bowl of Asian noodles in the middle of your ski day this is a great spot. Quick and easy. Smaller portions just great for kids.
