Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere.

Very very nice place to sit down and enjoy the evening, it's always busy on the weekend and the atmosphere carries you. The drinks didn't convince me that much, the beer is good. However, the concept is so good that I like to come here again and again :)

Love it here. The food stalls are delicious and the main bar is always well staffed with friendly service. Lots of seating options and a chill atmosphere perfect for a night out with friends.

Great place to eat in Basel. A nice variety of food and everything was good. Service was really good specially at the Burger and Mexican counter. Place is really big so yoi jave space to find a place.

We were in a larger group and wanted to eat something on site. When several of us went to the toilet, we were completely shocked. I have never experienced such a poor state of cleanliness in Switzerland. Even another guest told us it would always look like this! It's a shame because the atmosphere was pleasant

We took it from the Manufacture. Very good burger with sweet potato fries and homemade sauces. A pure delight. And to accompany the dish we had cocktails.

I ate here twice during my stay in Basel. The market hall offers a very international, excellent food selection. Here's something for every taste. The next ones have a large selection of drinks with mostly local or homemade drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Clara is a must in Basel. PS: The burgers from la manufacture are awesome! 🤩🤩

Nice place, but the published opening times are a joke. Went there at 2 p.m. for a burger, but the stand was closed. Like others too.

Small Food court with great variety of drinks and food. The Vietnamese was delicious and the portion was really big.

A good market offering a selection of cuisines. African, Indian, Italian, Vietnamese, and a few more. I had pho and spring rolls, which were delicious. Good atmosphere, too. There are plenty of tables to sit at, as well as a bar. Compared to other restaurants in Basel, the prices are reasonable. There is a tram stop right outside and the market is accessible.

!NEVER AGAIN !!!! We, 4 people, had ordered various dishes from the Falaffel Pita stand. After a few bites, there was something sharp-edged in one pita, it was a piece of broken wire, about 5mm in size, with 3 prongs! Unbelievable, you would have died if you swallowed it! When I spoke to the boss and showed the piece of metal, the only answer I got was that we didn't know anything about it, it wasn't ours!!! We thought about reporting the situation to the police. Overall, the restaurant doesn't get one star from us, the food is mediocre, the large room is very dirty and incredibly loud. The atmosphere is an imposition!

Self-service. Always full every day. It has several integrated snack bars with food offerings from all over the world, the portions are always huge.

Good cafeteria style place with lots of different options for everybody. Food was good for the price. For everyone complaining about prices, Prices will be high regardless of where you go in Switzerland 🤷🏻‍♀️

Various distribution points offer their food here. Drinks are available at the various distribution points and from a central bar. Like in a food court. We had burgers from 'La Manufacture' and Thai from 'Bug a Thai'. Both were wonderful. The ambience is pleasant. We will be back!

A perfect place if the group can't decide where to go. KLARA 13 AG offers something for everyone. Burger, Thai, Pasta, Vietnamese, Mexican etc. The principle of self-service is very simple. It offers plenty of space inside and also has a small outdoor area.

I loved the experience, I ate delicious and had a super pleasant time. I would undoubtedly repeat it again, highly recommended!!!

A great place where you can get really tasty food. Different cuisines make it a delight for many tastes. Find a place in the “market hall”, order food in the kitchen of your choice and enjoy. Large counter/bar available with delicious beers etc. Good advice on your choice and great staff. Have fun.

Various small food providers, so there is a lot of choice. You order at the appropriate counter and then get a kind of alarm clock that buzzes and lights up when the food is ready and can be picked up at the counter. We decided on Israeli cuisine. Yummy. Interesting concept for a neighborhood meeting!

I love the fact that you can pick a variety of foods & sit with your friends there with a very nice atmosphere! However the prices are a bit too expensive in my opinion for being a "grab & sit" place. Big water bottle (1.5L) costed >8 EUR

Great food corner in Basel. Cozy market hall feeling with a wide selection of food and drinks. Everything is very relaxed and yet everything is technologically top-notch with table beepers, etc.

There’s one Big Bar in the middle but 9 different Kitchens. So you can try different types for food there. Food from - Thailand, Japanese, Mexico,Africa,Tibet,Pita,Argentina and so on Ps- New kitchen opened { LAMIA Pastaria } Highly recommend - you can eat all types of pasta and they also serve Dessert

It was a good experience. It is a bit expensive, like everything in Switzerland, but the variety of types of cuisine (Vietnamese, Italian, Chinese, Argentinian...) makes it very appealing.

Cool food court in Basel. However, the Thai curry from the Thai stand completely disappointed me. 28.- for a watery self-service canteen-level curry is definitely too much! In my opinion, there are many restaurants in Basel that offer better quality for the price.

When I go to these, I feel like I'm on vacation. It's a shame that there is very little outdoor seating.

Swiss restaurants weren't that good, so while I was thinking about it, I decided to visit the food court and eat delicious Thai food. It's not as good as Korean pho, but it was a good restaurant during my trip to Switzerland.

The ambience of Klara is wonderful and is close to Klaraplatz. Easily accessible by public transport and bicycle. The different food offerings from different countries are very exciting. Unfortunately there is little space to sit outside in the sun.

One of the best food and cocktail spots in Basel, unfortunately not right on the Rhine but the interior design is very cozy. Perfect for eating out with friends. Above all! If you don't know exactly what food you like, there is everything from A to Z from restaurants all over Basel.

Ideal for a short lunch break. Well located. The food (momos) was very good. Thanks to the various small food editions, everyone can order what they like. Unfortunately, since the door to the street was open, you could hear the noise of the tram very well and we had to talk relatively loudly in order to have a conversation, even though we were sitting at the back of the restaurant. The setting is a self service, street food like, but the price as high as the most restaurant. I had much better version of Buncha in a resto with the same amount of money, 23 CHF. The salad that came with empanada was one of the worst, the string beans were so overcooked, the each ingredients were not appetizing at all. I think I will not return here.

This place ticks all the boxes for hosting gatherings! It’s got a really quirky aesthetic and a delightful vibe, it’s just the right size space, not too large and not too small. The back room is the perfect venue for hosting farewells, we did two here recently, just booked a few tables and easy to set up a bar tab with wristbands. Staff were wonderful, kids were welcome and so easy to entertain here. Food is reasonably priced and there’s so much variety, even gluten-free options. Bar has plenty of variety of cocktails. I love this place (so much more than markthalle and my kids can’t escape or disappear so it’s actually relaxing!). The only drawback is the back room gets a bit hot in Summer, they should open it up at the back (there’s already a door) to get a breeze and add plants and fans!

Large selection of different cuisines with delicious food, rather expensive. Unfortunately, all of the employees can neither speak German nor English properly. Ordering is not a problem, but if you have questions about allergies or individual ingredients you are completely overwhelmed…

Been there many times while visiting Art Basel. Only negative: If it's hot outside it's hotter in there! Food is amazing (especially the kiosk with the Falafel stuff). Friendly staff, busy place in general but an all-day solution <3 It's a must visit in my opinion!

A really great place with amazing staff. Always fun and great food. I usually bring my laptop and find a quiet place to work too. But there are a lot of groups and it's a great place to go with friends as there are 5-6 different small stalls with good food choices, so there's something for everyone.

Great concept, with different snack stands where everyone will hopefully find something for themselves. Also has vegan options available everywhere. Depending on the stand, the food tastes better or less good. You can try it out there. It is self-service, so no service.

Klara 13 has various food stalls from Argentinian, Burger, Vietnamese, Yoya Pitabar etc. Ideal for eating with several people as everyone can choose their favorite food. I've already tried the burgers and the Yoya Pitabar. I was thrilled with the burger. You can specify how hard you want it to be fried. The meat was juicy. And the falafel from Yoya was nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The sauces, hummus, etc. were delicious and beautifully presented on a tray (if you order a plate).

If you are a visitor, I recommend Klara and Markthalle. Everything here is good, but le manufacture probably has the best food on offer; probably als the best burger in basel, especially for the price.

Klara is always great, especially when you have such a great selection and can eat your way around the world! There's something like that in Kleinbasel too 😃! The service has always been incredibly friendly! Looking forward to next time!
