Fujin Sushi in Basel

For me, the best sushi I've eaten in Basel so far!

My favorite Sushi place in Basel! We love the Volcano and Spicy Crunch Rolls. Staff is super friendly, sometimes it takes a bit of time in case there are a lot of take out orders.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, delicious sushi! However, receiving the actual order took too long when the restaurant wasn’t too busy with other customers.

The Japanese food served is of very good quality. The restaurant also has a lot of variety and options in the menu, which is very rare. Will definitely make it a regular.

My rating refers to delivery and local pickup - so I can only rate the ambience based on first impressions. I've had sushi in many places now, whether fancy western style or classic Japanese, whether in Switzerland, Germany or even Japan itself. I'm not embarrassed to say that Fujin is one of the best sushi restaurants in the region. In terms of prices, Switzerland is always a bit higher, but ultimately I always prefer quality over price and the price at Fujin is on par with the others in the region anyway and the quality at Fujin speaks for itself and has always been right for me so far. Would order here again and again.

Outstanding sushi! We've dined in and loved it, and have recently also ordered delivery. Both times, the food was just delightful: Each roll packs an explosion of flavour, is obviously freshly prepared, and the fish is high quality - all in all just delicious.

After a wait of about 45 minutes, we were unfortunately able to eat relatively mediocre sushi. Strangely enough, they were warm and not rolled very well. However, the dragon rolls were delicious.

The worst experience ever! Not only that the food we’ve ordered did not come, but the staff was lying about the order on the phone and was unable to manage their mistake. They just left us without food after waiting for 2 hours! Very unprofessional staff and absolutely not recommended.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Basel

The sushi was OK. Apart from the rotten avocado in some of the sushi. The temakis looked like I had made them myself and were only stuffed at the front, with basically just rice inside. The sushi with cooked tuna was dry and looked poorly rolled. The rice was very grainy. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this sushi provider. There are some better competitors. 😃

The sushi here is the best in Basel. So many wonderful options and it's all high quality. The staff are super friendly. My only 'complaint' is that every time I've been, they only play Taylor Swift. I love me some TSwift but it can be a bit much. Best part of this restaurant though is that there's typically always a table available. Highly recommend getting your sushi fix here!

Very, very tasty sushi eaten, fresh, rich and extremely tasty and large selection

Nice sushi overall, but nothing stood out. Service was ok and the girl serving us was friendly and attentive. The place atmosphere is more of a fast dining.

Best sushi I have tried anywhere.

I have ordered from Fujin Sushi Bar several times and have always been very satisfied. This time, however, I got my Caterpillar Roll with the tempura shrimp almost uncooked. Unfortunately, since I don't eat raw fish, I couldn't enjoy it at all. The edamame were also way under-steamed and had too much salt. It's a shame, it was one of my favorite sushi restaurants...

Food, ambience and service were excellent. We spontaneously stopped by late yesterday evening and will come again!

I often come for lunch. Some of the best sushi’s I have ever. Very creative actually in term of taste and colors but excellent. the rice is gorgeous and fish is fresh. Home made ice teas are great and refreshing. As for the place, it is small and cosy with a pretty little garden to look at. personal is very sweet and welcoming. one bémol though: the way the menus are presented is extremely complicated. took me 3 times until I managed to order in a decent time 🤣

I was there at 13:50 for a bubble tea, but they were already closed 🫤

I've been here several times in the past, but the last two times were disappointing. I pre-ordered online and still had to wait 15-25 minutes on site. The maki were poorly rolled and immediately fell apart. The salmon on the nigiri smelled strongly fishy and didn't seem fresh. A pity :(

My husband and I had dinner there. Sushi was super delicious and tasted fresh. The price is reasonable given the quality.

The restaurant is simply furnished and somewhat inconspicuous, but the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. The quality of the food is good, the sushi tastes excellent and is fresh. What was a bit unsettling was finding a residue of packaging in the wakame salad, which can happen in itself, but shouldn't be the case in a good restaurant.

Delicious sushi! The waiting times were perfect, you didn't have to wait too long, but it wasn't too fast either. So that you could really enjoy your stay. And the service was very friendly and nice! We'd love to come back :)

Were there 25 minutes before closing time. The staff sent us out. She said it wasn't worth preparing any more for the customers. We just wanted to drink and buy something small to eat. She sent us out of there. So we spent the evening disappointed and annoyed without food.

Great sushi for take-away or to sit comfortably in the restaurant as soon as that is possible again. I've been going to Fujin since they opened and they have never slowed down. My favorite sushi in Kleinbasel.

Unser lieblings Sushi Restaurant! Die Bedienung ist ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr persönlich. Die Sushirollen sind geschmacklich sehr fein abgestimmt und dementsprechend interessant. Die hausgemachten Eistees ergänzen das feine Essen. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne!

Das Sushi und Der Fisch sind super frisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Die Bedienung ist nett und aufmerksam. Wir haben vielleicht 15 Minuten auf unsere Bestellung warten müssen. Das Restaurat ist hell und klar eingerichtet. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre.

Eine Frechheit!Sushi ohne Fisch drin, unfreundlicher Service, lange Wartezeiten, Lieferdienste haben z.T 1 Stunde gewartet. Tuna Tartar für 12.- ist ein Witz, Temaki halb gefüllt und mehr Avocado als Fisch drin. Einrichtung billigst.Nie wieder!

Wir sind überascht von diesem kleinen unscheinbaren Sushi Restaurant. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend und bestellten sogar zweimal. Sehr empfehlenswert für kleinere Gruppen & Paare. + Grosse Auswahl vieler verschiedener Sorten + Anrichtung & Präsentation + Aufmerksam gegenüber den Gästen und den Tischen + Abwechslungsreichere Karte als andere Sushi Restaurants - die fertigen Kombiplatten die man bestellen kann dürften (sofern es mit den verschiedenen Sushi möglich ist) abwechslungsreicher und abenteuerlicher sein. Die Kombiplatten bestehen fast nur aus Hoso. Wir fänden eine Kombiplatte intressanter wenn es mehr verschiedenes zu probieren gibt. Eine grosse Auswahl haben Sie ja bereits in der Karte. - Ueli Bier Schild ist ja fast doppelt so gross wie der Restaurant Name, Ihr dürft euch gerne besser präsentieren. hättet ihr verdient!

Topp Sushi Tempel @his best. Der Meister & die Meisterin (!) verstehen ihr Handwerk. Da im Quartier gelegen mit wahrscheinlich moderaten Mietpreisen relativ günstig - und einfach nur GUT!!!

Sehr gute Sushi weil vor allem die richtige Temperatur (Körpertemperatur). Hier sind Kenner am Werk! Leider sind die Wartezeiten manchmal lang. Aber für die Qualität nimmt man das gerne in Kauf.

Sehr freundliche, sympathische Bedienung, Speisekarte mit toller, kreativer Auswahl, super-leckere, schöne, zum Teil aussergewöhnliche Sushi (Rolls); frisch gemacht (deshalb bitte etwas Zeit einplanen, es lohnt es); gemütlicher Ort; unbedingt einmal selber ausprobieren, kann es sehr empfehlen!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und haben an einem Samstag trotzdem sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Das bestellte Sushi war gut, Raritäten gab es jedoch nicht. Wenig Auswahl bzgl. Sake.

Die Lunch Menüs sind günstig und das Sushi ist super lecker.

Ich fand Fujin zufällig hier auf TripAdvisor und dachte ich schau mal vorbei. Die ersten 2 mal als ich dort war, war das Restaurant fast leer obwohl es an einem Freitag- und Samstagabend war. Gester war ich pber den Mittag dort und ich war erstaunt wie viele Leute dort waren. Ich finde das Sushi sehr guet und für den Preis unschlagbar. Das Mittagsmenü war sehr gut, man konnte zwischen Suppe und Salat aussuche, bekam 6 Makis, 2 Nigiris und 8 normale Rollen. Die Auswahl des Sushis bei diesem Menü ist zwar eingeschränkt aber reicht genügend. Dazu erhält man noch ein Getränk, und dass alles für 22.50. Was sehr zu empfehlen ist, sind die Eiscreme Mochis. Vorallem dieses mit Kokosnusseis und Schokolade.

Sehr nette Bedienung, ausgezeichnetes Essen zu fairen Preisen und schönes Restaurant. Würde wieder gehen 👍

Die Auswahl ist sehr abwechslungsreich und hebt sich deutlich vom Standard vieler anderer Sushi Restaurants ab. Der Reis ist perfekt zubereitet und die Zugaben sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist angenehm und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

War suuper fein aber Wartezeit von 1.5h weil extrem viele online Bestellungen vorher eintrafen. Das Personal war aber super freundlich!

Nicht zum ersten Mal besuchten wir dieses Lokal. Und sicher auch nicht zum letzten Mal!Das hier angebotene Sushi ist von sehr hoher Qualität. Nebst der Qualität sind auch die Kreationen speziell und innovativ.Es lohnt sich, einen Tisch zu reservieren und bei einem Essen bis zu 3 Personen das Sofa resp. Sofa-Sessel zu wählen.Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ausgezeichnet, zumal der Preis für „all you can eat“ bei CHF 55 liegt. Und zum Essen unbedingt den Jasmin-Tee ausprobieren.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und beantwortet auch fragen zum Sushi-Angebot sehr kompetent und fachmännisch.

Obwohl das Fujin rein äusserlich nicht mit den Räumlichkeiten der grossen Ketten mithalten kann, ist das Sushi ein Genuss. Im Gegensatz zum Negishi erhält man hier handgemachte und unglaublich frisches Sushi, bei dem auch nicht bei den Lebensmitteln gegeizt wird. Die eigenen Kreationen sind einzigartig und ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind zudem unschlagbar und wahrscheinlich die tiefsten in Basel.

Hier bekommt man die besten Sushi der Umgebung (Lörrach, Weil inkl)! Sie werden nach der Bestellung frisch zubereitet, sind saftig fein und schön angerichtet. Aus diesem Grund muss man etwas Geduld mitbringen, das Restaurant macht auch Delivery und kann sehr viel zu tun haben. Aber das Warten wird definitiv belohnt, man kann das Warten auch mit einem sparkling Saké versüssen!

This dish costs 50 chf. One tuna tartar appetizer, 2 sushi and sashimi sets.... good I had a 50% coupon. Sushi is as good as other places in Europe. Nothing spectacular. But if you are desperately hungry, then you’ll get normal sushi.

Fujin ist eindeutig mein liebstes Sushi Lokal in Basel. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, modern, frisch und luftig. Dies kann man von anderen Lokalitäten in Basel leider nicht behaupten, auch wenn es anderorts ebenfalls gute Sushi gibt. Hier bin ich noch nie enttäuscht worden, das Essen ist immer tadellos und der Service effizient und freundlich!

Wir waren bereits mehrfach im Fujin zum Nachtessen und wurden nie entäuscht.Die Speisen sind super lecker (als Sushi Liebhaber haben wir schon so manches Restaurant besucht) und das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt durchweg.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder vorbei.Sushi ist in der Schweiz allgemein nicht günstig, deshalb muss man euch bereit sein etwas Geld auszugebenFür 3 Gänge inkl. 2 Getränke (Tee und Icetea) haben wir CHF 107.- bezahlt - haben aber auch viel gegessen (Hauptgangplatte auf dem Bild)Spannend könnte das all-you-can-eat Angebot von Samstag sein für 55.-/PIch kann euch die Fujin Sushi Bar wärmstens empfehlen, wenn ihr Lust auf gutes Sushi habt!
