I was so happy to find the Ukrainian cuisine in Basel! Everything tastes so tasty and reminds me of home. The hospitality is on top level and we will definitely go there at least every month now.

Yesterday we had lunch in Kozak Buvet Everything was very tasty - borscht, bigos, banosh and of course dumplings. 😋 Beautiful and kind girls, everything was very nice. We will definitely come again.

Delicious! Great service! Borscht with sour cream and fresh greens tastes just as good as it looks! Homemade pelmeni are large and taste like your grandmother's with sour cream and tomato sauce!

Food 10/10 I have Ukrainian roots myself and the stand convinced me. Everything tastes like grandma's at home and for the price you can't complain. One of the best stands in the hall. The ladies who work there are simply amazing. Friendly, humorous and lots of charm, as if I were visiting my family. 10/10

Today I was in this restaurant, I ordered borscht and pelmeni. The borscht is very tasty, but I liked the pelmeni the most, I have never tried such tender minced meat anywhere else. I would also like to highlight the excellent service that was served to me by a very friendly and hospitable Tatjana. I will go back there again.

An excellent institution, it was great to immerse yourself in the native atmosphere, as well as to experience the wonderful taste of native food. Suppe Polevoi is a separate art form. Thank you very much.

Very bad quality of food, the wine was not that was showed/presented to us, but much lower quality ( we know the producer and know how it should taste); we had food poisoning and suffered after the meal after, really not recommended.

Definitely try the Wareniki... finally a restaurant with Ukrainian / Russian cuisine in Basel!

I was at Buvette Kozaka and ate a very tasty "Sup Palevoi" with homemade chicken and crispy crackers, and also took a fruit compote. The service is fast and high quality, nice staff. Highly recommended, I will come back! Cheap and fast, I recommend.

Yesterday I discovered a wonderful, very cozy cafe with Ukrainian dishes made from organic products. I ate polevoi soup and pirogi with potatoes and cheese with enthusiasm. I recommend this cafe to everyone for health and relaxation. Delicious food, friendly staff, great service. Received a lot of positive emotions!

At last! I was waiting for Ukrainian cuisine in Markthalle for so long. Now it‘s there, and it‘s even better than I expected. I‘ve tried numerous varieties of dishes that Kozak Buvette provides in different parts of Ukraine (I know the game), and I can easily say that Kozak Buvette gave me one of the best experience with Borschch in my life. Absolutely worth it, highly recommended! Planning to visit the place each time I‘m in Basel.

Super tasty, good quality food at a fair price. The service is also very friendly. I tried the vegetarian borsch and my partner tried the Bigos. Both dishes were just right on a cold and wet evening. I would definitely like to come back and try more dishes. Highly Recommended.

The tastiest Ukrainian corner in Switzerland. Near the Basel station, in the very center of the city of Basel, there is a Ukrainian canteen. A Ukrainian woman cooks delicious dishes with love. Ukrainians can eat delicious Ukrainian dishes, and Swiss can get acquainted with rich Ukrainian traditions.

I had the pleasure of eating at this cafe on Friday March 10th and was served by two very nice women. The meal was delicious! I was particularly impressed by the Ukrainian cuisine and the fact that everything is organic. I have to say that I was really excited about my visit with you. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy and the service was very friendly and attentive. I really felt at home. I will definitely come back and recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to enjoy a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks to the team for a great visit!

Be sure to try it out when you're in the market hall, it's worth it! I tasted the delicious food from the “Kozak Buvette” both in the market hall and at a lunch as part of an event - the small but very professional team can be a great addition to event catering, the dishes are fabulous, the communication very uncomplicated. For the gastronomy location of Basel, the Kozak Buvette is an enrichment that is worth promoting - who knows whether one day the first Ukrainian restaurant in Switzerland will emerge from it...

Magnificent!! Ukrainian cuisine with organic products. If you go to the Markthalle you can't miss trying its delicious dishes. I recommend trying the Borsch to start. Every time we go we discover something new. I also recommend getting advice from your workers. Looking forward to going again!

Great little stand. We discovered the KOZAK stand in the market hall by chance. A very nice woman served us and gave us good advice. We really enjoyed the food. Also my wife who is also from Ukraine. =) too bad, there were no Vareniki =)

In addition, all ingredients are organic and locally sourced. You can feel that the team does its work with a lot of heart and conscientiousness.

Markthalle isn’t short of good lunch and dinner options but Kozak Buvette stands out with their all-bio menus. Lyubov prepares simple and tasty Ukrainian dishes, full of heart. We will go there again.
