KUGL - Kultur am Gleis in St. Gallen

Bouncer didn't let a friend in because he had a joint and drugs and dealing were forbidden (hard techno event). When I was inside, six people approached me one evening asking me if I wanted to buy coke, MDMA, ecstasy, speed, weed, Hero and poppers. Visitors line up at the bar lines, bouncers stand next to them. Absolute joke.

Great little club. Very central.

8.50.- for 1x 0.5l beer (Schützengarten) is simply too expensive.

Great staff. From the bouncer, to the bar, to the DJ, everyone is friendly and competent. Club is rather small. But I always enjoy partying there :)

Unfortunately, Kugl has been a blatant, blatant performer in recent years. What was once CULTURE on the track is today still COMMERCIAL on the track. It also seems as if the organizers are offering 10-year subscriptions for certain DJs and acts?!? Delinquent Habits seem to come every 3 months?!?! There are also so many local acts in the area, but they are only promoted very minimally in Kugl. Where is the culture? Really sad

Overall it was a great concert, unfortunately it was very crowded but otherwise a cool concert place, will definitely come back 👍

Very good electrical shed (3 years ago) Today 2023 Techno music still good. But I don't know what the operators of the light imagine by raven.🙈 So without sunglasses you can't relax to the music at all. Please reduce the light a little, I know it's new, but haven't you exaggerated it a little? Sometimes poorly mixed for hip-hop acts and here too... REDUCE THE BLINDING LIGHT! PLEASE MAKE THE AMBIENCE BACK!!

Great location for parties, conveniently close to the train station

You don't necessarily have to go because of the location. But the location is practical.

I don't know everything anymore, so only 4 parking spaces in front of the house.

Techno Party was cool !! Nice place and cool people

Cool club, but unfortunately it's generally the case that the drinks in such places are massively overpriced. Otherwise the mood is great.

So far everything is ok. Unfortunately, very keen on money. The store is sometimes overcrowded. So it's no fun to dance. Be careful of the DJ reto s, who gives away friends list entries where you still have to pay an entrance fee.

This party room has everything you need for a cool party. There is also a large parking lot directly behind the building. There was also a concrete forecourt that we could use. But... from 10 p.m. it was quiet outside. But the mail still went off inside.... ;-)

VERY VERY nasty Secos. They're always in a bad mood, extremely nasty, have a bad attitude and ruin your good mood. They shout at you and push you into the crowd. I find it completely inappropriate and disrespectful. I can only advise the Kugl team one thing: hire new securities. If YOU are a seco from Kugl and are reading this: Please be a little nicer and more respectful. Krass Raven a lot of alcohol and smoking room, the cleanliness is top at the beginning of the events but there is already a lot of partying and drinks are spilled and only the next morning you notice how sticky your shoes actually are, but I still think the location is top!

Special. Older club, some of it is clearly rocked down. Few seating options, limited range of drinks. Food questionable. When I asked, they said there was nothing. Apparently hot dogs. Then not again. Later it was said that something would be done again soon. Maybe. Or not. The crystal ball definitely knows. Well, not much has changed from years ago.

By far the worst club in all of St. Gallen. Incompetent information and service from the office and coordination between each other impossible. I will never visit this club again.

I'm happy to drive across the border to Switzerland for this club. Here the security and the staff at the cloakroom are super nice and you also like to laugh when the guest is polite. Two ladies at the cloakroom made my evening better with their humor. The counter staff, on the other hand, hasn't been a big hit for me so far. Rather annoyed and unsympathetic. That's why only 4 stars. If you prefer electronic music like me, there are really good acts and good music here, coupled with a good mood. I have already enjoyed Boris Brejcha, TheyDream, Einmusik etc. here and others. The location itself is a dark room with a stage, light show etc and a cool bar next to it. The prices are OK for Switzerland, at least for me and you can have a lot of fun here. Of course, these are just my impressions, everyone has their own opinion, or when it comes to the friendliness of the staff, just as you call into the forest, it echoes back to the guest. Very, very cool club with great events. An absolute MUST if you like electronic music like techno or hardstyle, or like to reminisce with 80/90/2000 music. I think the entrance fees and drink prices are okay. A plus point is that you can get non-alcoholic drinks in 0.5 liter pet bottles. Yes, the ventilation could perhaps be a little better, but I've rarely been to a club that had extremely bad ventilation. When a lot of people come together and dance, it gets hot. Cold drinks and/or a fan can help here. ☺️

I'm still trying to understand the logic behind it - I bought a Rivella bottle (PET) at your club and wanted to use it to make my way home. The security guard didn't allow me to take the drink with me and I had to throw away the almost full bottle - what a waste! I was told this is your house rule. Maybe you could reconsider this time... It was also extremely cold in the club. The music was good.

Mood is good. The biggest problem in this club is ventilation. Entry costs between 20-25 CHF, which is ok, but then make sure you have decent ventilation.

Small but nice. Great parties and great atmosphere. But one thing has to be said: For a can of Schützengarten beer, which costs CHF 2.00 to purchase, a retail price of a whopping CHF 7.50 is simply a huge impudence! Change that quickly, this is a complete rip-off...

Entrance fee is 25 francs but air conditioning is a foreign concept. Music would have been great but unfortunately it stopped after 30 minutes due to the unbearable heat. :(

Always great techno parties. Really love the vibes, the people and the whole venue. It's possible to cool down and relax in the room next to the dance floor while eating delicious hot dogs (snack bar is open the whole night) You almost never have to wait to get into the club or to get some drinks. I can really recommend going there!

Security trained completely incorrectly. I have never experienced anything like it. Security completely degenerated and reacted completely wrongly in a simple situation. Will not visit this location again. Absolutely outrageous what happened!

Location where different music plays. Last Friday also dubstep, a rarity that is threatened with extinction. More of that! The club is easily accessible by public transport, I can only recommend it to everyone.

Starting point for partying until the early hours of the morning. Prices absolutely ok. It quickly becomes tight as the space is rather small.

Venagboys/bravohits: great atmosphere, unfortunately the vengaboys had a somewhat short appearance, staff friendly

Super nice club, great sound (you can hear it from all sides), good drinks, pleasant and smiling waitresses, lounge area with food, sofa and table football for a break, 2 smoking rooms. A little too hot if you move around a lot and there are people.

Good drinks at St. Gallen prices. Constantly changing acts and DJs bring good variety.

Cool location. Not huge but enough. There felt like there were too many people at our concert. Controls, staff etc. Friendly and uncomplicated. Drinks sporty but necessary in this heat. Culture on the track is definitely fulfilled ;)

Dear bar staff, great club. Only the smoking area is much too small. Otherwise always worth a visit.

Good music, great atmosphere and this has been going on for more than ten years now! The kugl is the only alternative club in St. Gallen.

Sound and light installation was very cool, toilets were very dirty (almost unreasonable), bar staff were nice and quick to get things done. A lot of the music at the 90s party wasn't from the 90s, which was a bit of a shame.

90s party with music from the playlist but not consistently 90s songs. The location is cool with a good sound system. Long wait at the bar and a lot of crowding among drunken teenagers.
