As in good restaurants, the choice is limited, a guarantee of quality. Everything is homemade and seasonal, in an artisanal way. True: my daughter doesn't eat bread, and she started with the traditional baguette from the bakery!! And it’s one of the best ever eaten! Everything is excellent! I highly recommend!! Building on their success, the bakery is expanding! Good news!!!

The croissant is one of the best I've ever had. Super friendly staff (greeting you with a smile and super nice to you, even if you don't speak French). The pictures are of the mini-croissant and mini-pain au chocolat (which is also really good)

A detour this morning as part of the usual "Fridays broadening perspectives" to the #boulangerie_des_grottes, or, for close friends #LBDG which will certainly become a legendary HQ as soon as they open their coffee room. I quickly move on to the killings of cookies, shortbread and brownies which in themselves are an institution, for a particularly surprising detour: 🥐 their curry trout croissant! In short, a place where creativity and love of products bring together humans at their best: the transmission of passion!

Best croissants we’ve ever had!!! And not too expensive, either

This is the first time I've given a rating without coming in and tasting it. Being still in my (unsuccessful) quest for a suitable pastry, I directed my steps towards this pastry which has good reviews. So what happened? Well, before returning, I like to look from the outside and what I saw didn’t please me. A customer who touches pastries with his fingers, whether in the baskets under his nose or behind the little plexiglass that acts as “protection”. The latter also clears his throat with his mouth open. So you can tell me that it's not the manager's fault. Well yes. When more than half of people do not know the basic rules of hygiene, it is up to the manager not to put food under the noses of customers, it is an invitation to touch or squirt on it . So -4 for hygiene. And the +1 because maybe it's good but as long as the food is not protected, I will probably never know. This saddens me :(

Excellent bakery in the heart of the vibrant cave district, as its name suggests! This bakery offers a fairly varied set of sandwiches, pastries and special breads. The quality of the products is there, for a measured cost! For me it is simply the best bakery in Geneva! (Not to shout from the rooftops… but a little all the same 🤫)

All products are made with local raw materials. The employees are friendly and very welcoming, their pain au chocolat is divine. My favorite is the dark sourdough roll. I have visited all the bakeries in Geneva and this is undoubtedly the best.

A super friendly and dynamic team! Swiss quality products with guaranteed freshness! Small problem... if you want to grab a few things for lunch, plan to come early enough because generally at 1-2 p.m. there isn't a lot of choice left. Delicious sourdough breads and pastries prepared by hand. In addition to that, they pay close attention to the origin of the products, which are largely Swiss and organic. It’s an essential stop if you go through Geneva station, and it’s worth a thousand times the 1 minute detour to replace the frozen-reheated croissant taken on the station platform.

Honestly, I have just tried several things, traditional baguette, pâtés, pain au chocolat, tatin, everything is homemade and of high quality, so happy to have discovered this old-fashioned bakery, much better than the bakeries at the station and just 20 m from the station

Exceptional pain au chocolat and croissants. We see that there is real technical mastery and a search for taste, as well as a beautiful appearance. The wholemeal flour pain au chocolat and the wholemeal croissant are great discoveries!

The best sourdough bread in Geneva. The breads are made with ancient, local, organic cereal flours. Slow growth allows for gentle digestion. Wide choice of pastries, pastries, sandwiches, ramekins, salad without forgetting a team with a smile. In short, a top notch bakery. We love!

According to this bakery 1.6 CHF + 3 CHF = 6 CHF And the baker insisted on it. Probably because he saw I was only a tourist with my camera and won't come back anyway. Indeed I won't, the bread wasn't fresh, you better go to the supermarket

We order each wednesday breads for our soup event. Everyone loves their bread and they really tried to figure out a solution when it comes to form / quantity / price. Superfriendly staff and superbreads. I’ve only tried a sandwich once, I have to admit that I still prefer doing my own sandwiches but it was better than anything comparable at migros & co.

Just a stone's throw away (...well, let's say 30 seconds on foot from the station), a real artisan bakery which still makes real bread and good sandwiches that you won't find elsewhere. A special mention to the “salty” (sweet cream tart).
