A little Mexican corner in Lausanne. It is a gem of a restaurant. Very fast and friendly service. The delicious food. Relatively small portions. Keep in mind that you will eat 3 tacos on average per person. The decoration is very beautiful, I truly felt at home. Like in Mexico!!

A real Mexican restaurant in Lausanne! What a pleasure to discover this establishment with its elegant decoration. The lights are incredibly beautiful and every detail is designed to create a warm and festive atmosphere. We were surprised to find that the place was not too noisy despite the crowds. Very nice choice of cocktails which turn out to be excellent! Small wine list with a nice Argentinian Malbec. The cuisine is as colorful as the decoration and gives pride of place to the typical flavors of Mexico. The dishes are balanced and delicious. The tacos are very spicy as well as the guacamole and other dishes. Useful information for those intolerant to gluten: all dishes are gluten-free. We really enjoyed ourselves! It’s a happy and festive place and the service is very friendly and professional. I recommend that you make a reservation because the establishment is quickly taken by storm, which is a sign of high quality. A nice Mexican address to remember in Lausanne!

Great spot. Was there for my birthday and though portions were small for the price, I had a grand time. We live 5 minutes away so you can be sure we'll be back and with friends too. Well done Esquina team! Margaritas are killers, but again, smallish portions compared to what we serve at Barbarossa Lounge SF for the same price.

I do not recommend this restaurant. And don't understand the positive ratings for food that lacks taste, texture. It's bland, the tacos are bathed in sauce, the ceviche has a strange taste of cream and lacks freshness. And the price: expensive for what it is. Opinion from a person who loves good food and travels around the world.

Restaurant always full even with a little anticipation. 6 months I've been calling and there are never any places. I pass my turn and let those who anticipate a meal with friends 2 weeks in advance discover this restaurant which will always remain a mystery to me. I'm tired of trying.

So… my discovery of the year in Lausanne! More than nice atmosphere, delicious food. I find that we are often disappointed by Mexican restaurants, but there's nothing to it: it's fresh, it's hot and tasty. The portions are ideal for sharing, the quality/price ratio is almost miraculous for Switzerland… I lower my sombrero! ps: I forgot to tell you about the cocktails…

I discovered this little corner of Latin America in Lausanne. And I came away delighted. A shrimp aguachile, spicy as it should be, and a slow-cooked pork taco, just wowwww. Ah another cerveza Pacifico, to calm my palate The service is friendly and efficient. I will come back because there are still lots of things to discover.

Despite the beautiful decoration. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. The reception is always a disaster (with or without reservation) it is always a problem. The staff is very rude and inadequate. The drinks are not good, at least not in representation of Mexico. Then the food clearly lacks taste (starters, main courses, desserts) and it is very expensive for what it is. I went 3 times to get the most objective opinion possible but ultimately I can only recommend this place. It's a shame because the restaurant seemed promising.

By far a small restaurant, shy, 3 tables as a terrace, if you find a table then the journey can begin. There is the Mexican that we are used to in Europe and there is the Esquina. Each bite is an invitation to discovery, to flavors, a perfect balance, colorful, delicious, an exceptional sea bream ceviche, finally Mexican gastronomy in Lausanne. A very nice evening, everything was just good, we went there as a family: fresh and surprising cuisine, natural, generous service....very friendly. A setting where you expect more than Frida Kahlo, beautiful colors, a decor that immerses you in the popular neighborhoods of Mexico. Well done and thank you!!!

Cocktails and starter (nachos) were good. Then we had a mix of tacos (chicken / beef / shrimp / cactus It was clearly not good, no taste, no flavor, dry. I'm really surprised by the good comments. I do not recommend!

Very good cuisine. Effective tacos, everything you expect from this type of cuisine. The ceviche starter is a treat. On Saturday evenings, a Mariachi sets the mood in the restaurant. Incredible moments if the audience is hot. We even danced to some of the Mariachi music. Excellent value for money. And impeccable service.

Excellent addition to the Lausanne gastronomic scene! The dishes are delicious and introduce us to authentic flavors from elsewhere! The guacamole is to die for, the desserts too and the cocktails are very good. The only downside is that all this has a price...

We ordered two mojito last night and we were extremely disappointed on the taste (no feeling the ment and lemon). We complained to the owner and he did not even care on our advise. If you’d like to pay 15 chf for a poorly taste mojito.. please be my guest.

I lived in Lausanne for 10 years and never found real Mexican food. Five years later, I finally found it! Everything from the margaritas and guacamole to the tacos and hot sauces were perfect. Super friendly staff!

The food, the atmosphere, the service, the decoration, I was amazed! We're full of it. A Mexican who knows how to deal with his customers. Come on Saturday you will be treated to singers who set things on fire! The menu is small and the restaurant too, it is better to reserve.

It's very good, fresh, quality products. We feel a real desire to offer quality cuisine. Very efficient service, we had little time and it followed. To do as a couple with family or friends.

Lovely Mexican restaurant with tasty food and desserts. Menu is limited but everything we ordered was delicious. Drinks ( we had mojitos) are expensive- 15CHF for one and the tacos are small. The nachos were a good portion and the sauces that came with it added a spicy flavor. For dessert we had arroz con leche - good portion and the flan- small portion. Reservations were necessary. No vegan options - even when asked.

One michelada later and we are back in Mexico! Nachos, tacos, guacamole, horchata, quesadillas... we loved it. The decor is colorful, the staff very welcoming, we will come back very quickly
